Syrup Village part 10
*The whole crew is trembling with fear.*
Kuro: I see these brats have held you back. How the Black Cat pirates have fallen. What have you got to say for yourself, jango?!
Jango: But, Um…. Sorry sir, you said nothing would cause us problems.
Kuro: I did say that. So what’s your point? He’s an idiot, I knew no one would listen to his warnings and he came back to take a stand against you. But the one I didn’t take into account… is your inexcusable weakness!
*Morbius starts to recover.*
Morbius: Don’t think he looks happy.
Jango: Sir, you see-
Sham: Did you call us weak?! Who are you to call us weak? You used to be quite the killer. It has been three years and we haven’t been waiting on our asses for a rich girl hand and foot.
Buchi: Yeah, that's right. We’ve been sinking ships for three years and massacring villages.
Kuro: Finished?
Sham: You’ve done nothing this whole time!
Buchi: There’s no way you can beat the Nyaban brothers!
*They both charge at Kuro.*
Jango: Wait, stop!
Sham: You’re not our captain anymore!
Buchi: Now we have to kill you!
*They try to kill kuro, but they scratch his bag instead and now he’s behind them wearing his claws.*
Zoro: How’d he get behind them? And what’s with his weapon?
Kuro: Who are you going to kill?
Sham: He snuck up behind us!
*Kuro moves his feet rapidly and avades their attacks.*
Buchi: Where’d he go?
Jango: The pussy foot maneuver.
*Nami wakes up.*
Morbius: Are you ok?
Nami: I’m fine.
Morbius: That butler guy is here. And he’s mad.
*Kuro appears behind Sham and Buchi and holds his claws to their necks.*
Kuro: You know, you’re right. I do feel a bit sluggish after all these years.
Nami: He's treating them like kittens. And they were just beating Zoro.
Morbius: I think he can move as fast as me.
Jango: The Pussyfoot maneuver. He can kill us all with that technique before we can take one step. There’s no escape from a killing machine like him. I knew he never grew soft after seeing that habit of his. The way he moves his glasses so he won’t cut his face. It’s like he never stopped wearing those claws. Of course he hasn’t forgotten how to fight.
Kuro:… You’re lucky. I’m feeling somewhat merciful. Perhaps 3 years on dry land has made me soft. I’ll give you 5 minutes.
*Kuro releases them.*
Kuro: If you don’t deal with this situation in 5 minutes, I’ll kill every last one of you. Have I made myself clear?
Jango: Oh yes! Perfectly clear! Thank you for being so forgiving! All we need to do is take care of this one guy! That’s all! 5 minutes will be more than enough!
*Nami sees Zoro’s swords in the ground.*
Morbius: Do you have an idea?
*Sham and Buchi charge towards Zoro.*
Buchi: We were beating him before you came!
Sham: We’ll only need one minute to finish him off!
Jango: Kill him!
Nami: Zoro!
*Nami kicks Zoro’s swords.*
Zoro: Hey, you can’t just kick them! They’re my swords!
Nami: How about a thanks?
*Zoro catches them.*
Zoro: Thanks.
Sham: It won’t matter how many swords you!
Buchi: You’ll only die holding 3!
Zoro: You still don’t get it. Carrying 3 swords won’t help you at all. Unless you know 3 sword style. Tiger Trap!
*Zoro puts his hand swords over his mouth blade and swings forth a forward descending slash with them, defeating the Nyaban brothers.*
Jango: Oh no, this is bad. He took out the Nyaban brothers with one attack…
Zoro: Don’t worry, I can promise that everything will be taken care of in less than five minutes.
*Morbius appears behind Kuro and tries to attack him, but Kuro uses his pussyfoot maneuver to evade him and stab Morbius in the shoulder.*
Nami: Morbius!
Kuro: 3 minutes left.
Buchi: I’ll kill him… please hypnotize me captain!
Kuro: He’s still alive. You’re sloppy.
Zoro: Looks like he is. All the blubber saved him.
*Morbius starts to crawl away.*
Zoro: And not like you’re any better.
*Jango hypnotizes Buchi to become stronger.*
Jango: Kill him Buchi!
Morbius: That's not good.
Zoro: You back for more?
Buchi: Rrraaawwwrrr!!!
Zoro: This guy is trouble. He was already tough. Then jango had to flip his psycho switch.
*Nami gets up and runs towards Luffy.*
Nami: If I can just wake him up!
Jango: what’s that girl up to?
Nami: Everyone else is fighting for their lives and he’s just sleeping! Get up you lazy bum!
*Jango throws his ring at her.*
Zoro: Nami, look out!
Morbius: Get out of the way!
Kuro: 2 minutes and counting.
Jango: It was nice knowing you.
*Nami steps on Luffy’s face, waking him up.*
Nami: Nami! You can’t just step on people’s faces when they’re sleeping!
*The ring hits Luffy, but he’s barely phased.*
Jango: impossible! How is he alive?!
It’s either the best or the worst timing in the world.
Morbius: Guess our chances of beating these guys has increased.
Luffy: That hurt!
Pirate: That kid is awake!
Pirate 2: it’s impossible to finish this in 5 minutes!
Luffy: That hurt, you jerk! Why’d you do that?
Nami: That wasn’t me!
*Luffy sees Nami’s wound.*
Luffy: Are you ok nami?
Nami: I’m fine. I’ve done everything I can. The rest is up to you. We can’t stand to lose this fight. Do it for the treasure.
Luffy: I’m not doing it for the treasure. Oh, that evil butler is here.
Kuro: 1 minute.
Pirate 3: Captain Kuro can’t be serious! There’s no way we can beat these guys in one minute!
Jango: Buchi, you finish off the swordsman! I’ll kill the straw hat kid!
Kuro: It's that kid from yesterday? Didn’t he die from falling off the cliff? Nice trick.
*Kuro senses someone walking behind him and tries to kill them. But it turns out it to be Kaya but Usopp manages to save her.*
Kaya: Are you ok, Usopp?
Usopp: What are you doing out here?
Kaya: I don’t know how you’ll ever forgive me. I just couldn’t believe it. That Klahadore is a pirate.
Usopp: I told you to run Kaya, your life is in danger!
Kaya: I won’t run! You fought for me even after I treated you poorly.
Kuro: This is no place for a lady. Please leave Miss Kaya.
Kaya: Stop this Klahadore! Merry told me about everything.
Jango: What's the girl from the mansion doing here?
Pirate 2: She’s the whole reason we’re here.
Pirate 4: If we kill her now, we don’t have to go to the village.
Kaya: If you want my fortune, you can have it. Take it and leave this place.
Kuro: I'll gladly accept your fortune miss
Kaya. But I want more. Having wealth isn't enough. What I want is peace. Peace of mind. I spent three years earning the trust of the entire town. And to be honest, I've found this new found peace quite comforting. When my plan comes true, I will live in this peace of mind. The glorious comfort of a peaceful life will be mine.
Morbius: Doesn't sound much of peace, more like manipulation.
Kuro: Whatever you call it, it will be mine forever. Now, you will hand over your fortune and die.
Usopp: Run away Kaya!
*Kaya pulls out a pistol.*
Kaya: Leave this place and never come back!
Kuro: Pointing a gun at me? You’re all grown up. So much has happened in the last 3 years. Don’t you remember the memories of us? All the time we spent. Even before your parents passed away you were more than my master, you were my best friend. Together we suffered and together rejoiced. I took you shopping in the city. I took care of you when you were ill. And we used to talk for hours and hours. I was devoted to you for so long. I endured. I quietly suffered so that I could kill you and take everything that is mine. I was once the respected and feared Captain Kuro had to bow and humble before some little girl. It went against every depth of me being. Can you understand those transgressions created from my pride!
*Usopp tries to hit Kuro, but he gets out of the way.*
Kuro: Thank you for reminding me. I owe you for hitting me. If I recall, you got as hard as you could, right?
*But Luffy stretches his arm and punches Kuro in the face.*
Luffy: If he hates getting hit, then he’s about to have a bad day!
Pirate: What is he?!
Pirate 5: He punched Captain Kuro!
Morbius: Oh yeah!
*But the kids appear and attack Kuro while he’s down.*
Morbius: Where did they come from?!
Ninjin: Say your prayers, butler!
Tamanegi: Take that, Pirate!
Usopp: Get away from him!
Pirate 1: What are those kids doing?!
Kuro: they have a death wish.
Piiman: That ought to teach him.
Jango: Captain Kuro is going to be really mad now.
Piiman: Captain, we saw you fighting.
Ninjin: Why didn’t you tell us about the pirates?
Tamanegi: Yeah, we’re supposed to tell each other everything.
Usopp: You guys got to get out of here now!
Piiman: No way!
Ninjin: We’re here to fight!
Tamanegi: Running away will disgrace the Usopp pirates!
*But Kuro gets up and towers over them.*
Piiman, Ninjin, and Tamanegi: Aaaaaaahhhh!!!
Usopp: Don’t just scream, run!
*But he walks over to Usopp and kicks him down the slope.*
Morbius: Usopp!
Kuro: That hurt. What a strange technique you have. Tell me, do you have devil fruit powers?
Luffy: Yup, I’m a rubber man.
*All the pirates look scared.*
Jango: Now it all makes sense. We weren’t hallucinating his arms stretching.
Kuro: Jango, I can handle the boy. You take care of Miss Kaya like we planned. Have her write me into her will. As for the kids, they’re an eyesore. Eliminate them.
Jango: Very well.
*But Zoro and Morbius threaten him.*
Zoro: You’re not getting past us.
Morbius: Yeah.
Jango: Buchi, kill them!
*Buchi jumps into the air.*
Zoro: Not again!
Morbius: Take cover!
*Buchi lands on the ground and makes it shake.*
Zoro: That was much stronger than last time.
Morbius: You’re telling me.
*Buchi elbow slams Morbius into the side of the slope and pins Zoro.*
Usopp: That guy is crazy!
*Jango approaches Kaya.*
Usopp: Kaya! Usopp pirates! Listen carefully!
Piiman: We’re not running away!
Ninjin: Not after what they did to you!
Tamanegi: We will avenge you!
Usopp: Protect Kaya! I'm giving you the most important task. Take her and get away from here. Keep her safe. Do as I say and run! That's a direct order.
Piiman, Ninjin, and Tamanegi: Yes captain!
*They grab Kaya and head into the woods.*
Jango: Fools, you think you can escape me?!
*Jango pulls out 2 rings, but Usopp fires a lead pellet at him with his slingshot.*
Usopp: Gotcha.
Jango: Damn you!
Kuro: He’s not a priority right now!
*Jango chases after them.*
Kuro: Their attempt to escape will fail. We all know how weak Kaya is. There is no way they can escape from Jango. Try and help her if you wish, but you’ll have to get off this hill alive, Usopp.
*Luffy starts to approach Kuro.*
Kuro: Buchi!
*Zoro is still struggling against him.*
Zoro: I guess losing to me once wasn’t enough. I told you to get out of my way, you tubby lard!
*Zoro pushes him away, Allowing him and Morbius to finish off Buchi.*
Morbius: Not so tough now, cat man.
*But they hear a loud noise coming from the forest.*
