Piiman, Ninjin and Tamanegi: what?! Pirates are going to attack the village and kill Kaya?!
Luffy: Yup. No question about it.
Morbius: Heard it from their own mouths.
Zoro: So what made you two think it was a good time for a nap then?
Luffy: I don’t remember really falling asleep.
Morbius: The last thing I remember was seeing some weird hypnotist guy who may have ADD.
Piiman: So the butler is really a bad guy.
Ninjin: Bo wonder he gave me the creeps.
Tamanegi: the captain must have run off to earn the village.
Nami: That's good then. That means the village will be empty by the time they try to attack them.
Piiman: then we better pack up our stuff up and run away with them!
*They run off.*
Morbius: Well at least I got a good nap.
Luffy:… Oh no, we’ve got to stock up on meat before the shop closes!
Zoro: Oh come on, that’s not the issue.
*Kuro meets his crew on their ship.*
Kuro: After 3 years of absence, I made the call and you came. Your loyalty will be greatly rewarded. At dawn, destroy the village to your heart’s content.
*The crew cheers.*
*Luffy and the others find Usopp.*
Usopp: Oh hey guys. Huh?! How are you still alive?!
Luffy: Of course I am. I just woke up.
Morbius: Yeah, that weird guy made us sleep.
Piiman: We know about the bad guy’s plan, captain!
Tamanegi: we’ve got to warn everyone in the village!
Usopp: Warn everyone… hahahahahaha! Oh I’m just lying as usual! That butler made me so mad that I made up lies about him being a pirate!
Ninjin: So it was just a lie?
Piiman: I really thought something bad was going to happen.
Tamanegi: Even the straw hat guy and his friend were in on it.
*they start to walk away.*
Usopp: where are you guys going?
Piiman: You shouldn’t make lies about that, captain. It’s not honorable.
Ninjin: I feel the same way.
Tamanegi: Me too. That butler guy may be a jerk, but you shouldn’t make lies to hurt people.
*later that night.*
Luffy: Why did you lie to them?
Usopp: Because all I do is lie. There's no way anyone was going to believe what I say. And why would they?
Zoro: because what you were telling them was the truth.
Nami: Those pirates are going to attack the town.
Morbius: Reminds me of that old fable about the boy who cried wolf.
Usopp: everyone thinks that tomorrow is going to be a normal day. If they think I’m lying, then that’s that! I'm going to stop those pirates by myself if I have to.
Morbius: You, up against a whole squad of pirates? You'll die dude.
Usopp: It’s my fault for lying to them. I don’t care if they chase me with sticks or shoot me! This is my home! I have to protect it!
Zoro: You’re one hell of a guy, sending your crew away to battle them alone.
Morbius: I feel you dude, and I won’t let you go fight a band of bloodthirsty pirates by yourself.
Nami: If I'm doing this, I call dibs on all their treasure.
Morbius: Of course you would.
Nami: What's that supposed to mean!?
Morbius: Uh.…. nothing. Just uh, don't forget, Mr. Krabs sold Spongebob's soul for 62 cents.
Luffy: You need help, or what?
Usopp: You guys are going to help me fight these pirates?
Luffy: You said there's bad guys coming.
Zoro: And you look scared as hell.
Usopp: Me, scared?! I have nerves of steel! I’m perfectly fine fighting tons of bad guys! You’re looking after the brave captain Usopp!
*They stare at him.*
Usopp: Ok, I’m scared! But it’s kuro! I don’t need your pity! I don’t need you two laugh at me!
Zoro: we’re not laughing at you.
Luffy: You really think we’d risk our lives for pity?
Usopp: Oh you guys…
Usopp: Alright, the pirates are coming tomorrow at dawn. The only way into the town is through the slop on the shore. If we can fight them on the slope and shore, the town will be safe.
Morbius: Then their increase in numbers won’t mean anything.
Luffy: Sounds easy enough.
Usopp: Talking about it is, but victory will depend on our strength. So what can each of you do?
Zoro: I cut.
Luffy: I stretch.
Nami: I steal.
Morbius: I bite.
Usopp: I hide.
Luffy, Morbius, Zoro, and Nami: Well this time, you better fight!
Usopp: I was only making a funny!
*At the mansion.*
Kuro: To think all of this happened because I was gone for a few hours. That troublesome, Usopp.
Merry: He even accused you of being a pirate. I can’t possibly think of a more outrageous lie.
Kuro: Indeed…
*Kuro adjusts his glasses.*
Kuro: What's this?
*He pcks up Kaya’s present.*
Merry: Oh that’s an anniversary present from miss Kaya to you. It’s been 3 years since you came to work here. And it’s a thank you for all your hard work.
Kuro: Interesting…
Merry: The glasses you have on are always slipping. So Miss Kaya had them custom made for you. Isn’t she really thoughtful?
Kuro: Tomorrow will indeed be a day worth celebrating.
Merry: Huh?
Kuro: It’s a crescent moon out tonight. It’s on nights like this where I truly feel alive.
*He smashes kaya’s glasses.*
Merry: Klahadore, why would you smash kaya’s present?!
Kuro: I’ll be receiving a gift from her alright. But it won’t be some small trinket. It will be her entire estate…
Merry: What are you talking about?!
Kuro; I suppose there’s no need to carry on the act any longer. In a few hours, the “accident” will occur.
*Kuro pulls out a pair of gloves with knives attached to the fingers.*
