Luffy: Good, I’m looking forward to this.
Buggy: So you guys are pirates?
Luffy: That's right. We’re going to sail the entire sea.
Buggy: That’s not an easy voyage. I doubt someone like you can handle it. What will you do once you set sail? Go on a sightseeing tour?
Luffy: Be king of the pirates.
Buggy: You can’t be serious! If you were king of the pirates, then that would make me god! Only one person of us can become the pirate king, and that’s going to be me!
Luffy: You’re annoying.
Morbius: You can say that again.
Luffy: Why don’t we settle this?
Buggy: Seeing that straw hat brings back memories of him and that makes my blood boil, so bring it on! You remind me of him. That cheeky, red haired pirate.
Luffy: Red hair? Are you saying you knew my friend Shanks?
Morbius: Shanks?
Buggy: Yes, I knew him once.
Luffy: Do you know if he’s alive?
Buggy: Maybe I do, maybe I don’t.
Luffy: Did you forget?
Buggy: No, I didn’t forget! I’m not going to tell you where he is out of the kindness of my heart. You have to earn that info.
Luffy: Ok, then I’ll beat you.
Buggy: You can give your best shot, but I don’t like your chances. I doubt your body can bounce blades.
*Buggy stomps on his shoes to make knives appear out of them.*
Buggy: Chop chop rice cracker!
*He then throws his lower half cartwheeling on the ground towards Luffy and Morbius, but they dodge his attack. Buggy throws some knives at Luffy, but he moves out of the way.*
Luffy: Gum gum pistol!
*Luffy tries to punch Buggy, but he misses.*
Buggy: You have near abilities, but they leave you wide open!
*But Luffy grabs a tree behind Buggy and pulls himself towards him.*
Luffy: Gum gum sickle!
Buggy: Chop chop quick escape!
*luffy then stretches out his other arm to clothesline buggy. But Buggy quickly separates his head from the rest of his body to avoid harm.*
Morbius: Take this!
*Morbius tries to punch buggy.*
Buggy: Chop chop cannon!
*Buggy shoots his hand at Morbius and punches him.*
Morbius: Fuck…
Luffy: Damn, you keep breaking into pieces.
*Nami watches from afar.*
Nami: They’re still going at it?
Buggy: Chop chop cannon!
*Buggy shoots his hand at Luffy while holding some knives. But Luffy quickly catches it.*
Buggy: Separate.
*Buggy's hand detaches more and nearly hits Luffy.*
Buggy: You want to give up yet?!
*Luffy sees that his hat is damaged.*
Luffy: You bastard! No one damages my hat! It’s my only treasure! Anyone who lays a finger on it will pay!
Nami: I didn’t think anything could phase him.
Buggy: It seems there’s a history with that hat. Is it really that special?
*Buggy’s severed hand floats in midair.*
Buggy: Then you should protect it!
Morbius: Luffy, look out!
*Buggy’s hand then stabs Luffy’s hat and it returns to buggy.*
Buggy: How is this thing a treasure? Treasure refers to silver and gold. You really think you consider this straw hat a treasure? Gyhahahaha!
Luffy: Just shut up! When Shanks gave me that hat, I made a promise!
Buggy: So you're telling me this is shanks’s hat!
*throws it on the ground.*
Buggy: No wonder it looks familiar. He always wore it when we were on the same crew.
Luffy: So you and Shanks were on the same pirate crew?
Buggy: Back when we were pirates in training, we were comrades. That red haired bastard!
*steps on the hat, angering Luffy.*
Luffy: Shanks is a better man than you’ll ever be! Don’t you dare badmouth him again!
Buggy: Time for my chop chop quick escape!
*Buggy’s head detaches from his body, but Luffy kick him in the chest.*
Morbius: Ouch!
Luffy: Don’t ever say his name in front of me again, you bastard!
Buggy: I can say whatever the hell I want!
Luffy: What happened between you and shanks?!
Buggy: he’s the one person that I loathe. I’ll curse his name for the rest of my life. That bastard stole countless riches from me. I’ll never forgive him.
