Luffy: Stabbing them in the back was a coward's move, big nose!
Buggy:…What was that you said…?
Nami: That idiot, he shouldn’t have called him that!
Buggy: Who are you calling big nose?!
*Buggy throws a knife at Luffy, but he catches it with his teeth.*
Luffy: I’m going to kick your ass as soon as I get out of this cage!
Buggy: Gyahahahaha! You kick my ass? You’ve got some guts, kid. But you’re all going to die today by my hand.
Luffy: I refuse to die! Zoro! Morbius! Get up!
*Both Zoro and Morbius get up, but Buggy swings his knives like crazy. Zoro cuts buggy in half, but he isn’t affected.*
Buggy: Your three sword style is useless against me-
*But they run past him.*
Buggy: Hey, listen to me when I’m talking to you!
*They then point the cannon in the opposite direction.*
Buggy: Crap, the cannon’s pointing at us now!
Zoro: Light it!
Nami: What?
Morbius: Light the damn fuse!
Buggy: But the cannon is still loaded with the buggy ball!
*Nami lights the fuse and the cannon fires the Buggy ball at the pirates.*
Zoro: Now's as good a time as ever to go!
Morbius: Just who’s this chick anyway?
Luffy: She's our navigator.
Nami: I told you, I’m not joining your crew.
*Both Zoro and Morbius attempt to lift the cage.*
Luffy: How bad are you guys hurt?
Zoro: Don’t worry about us.
Morbius: Let's just get the hell out of here.
*They manage to lift the cage and start to leave.*
Nami: I guess even a lowey pirate can save his friend.
Buggy: those four think they can pull a stunt like this and get away with it? This means war.
???: Shall I take the pirate hunter’s head?
Buggy: Permission granted, Mohji.
*Zoro and Morbius drag the cage through town.*
Morbius: This thing weighs a ton!
Zoro: I saw you lift a bed with no effort, and this you call heavy?
Morbius: The cage is made of stone.
*Zoro collapses.*
Morbius: Are you ok?!
Zoro: I’m fine. What about you? You got stabbed as well.
Morbius: it’s starting to hurt less now for some reason.
*The three see a small dog in front of them.*
Luffy: It's a doggy.
*It sits still.*
Luffy: Wonder what’s up with this dog? Is it frozen or something?
Morbius: It’s like it’s staring into our souls.
Zoro: I don’t care. It can sit there for all I care.
*Luffy pokes the dog and it attacks his face.*
Luffy: Aaaaaaahhhh!!! Get it off! Get it off! Get it off!
Zoro: Luffy!
*Morbius tries to grab the dog, but it holds onto Luffy's face.*
Morbius: Bad dog! Ow!
*Morbius feels pain in his back and Zoro feels pain in his side.*
Luffy: Stupid dog…
Nami: You guys are a mess.
Luffy: Oh hey Nami.
Nami: You got me out of a tight spot.
*She tosses a key.*
Luffy: It's the key to the cage. Did you steal this for me?
Nami: I only did it so we’d be even.
Morbius: Now use it to free yourself so we can get out of here and find a doctor.
Luffy: Ok-
*But the dog swallows the key.*
Luffy: Stupid dog!
*Luffy starts choking the dog.*
Luffy: Stupid dog! Stupid dog! Give me the key! It’s not Food!
???: Hey, stop bullying Chouchou!
Zoro: Who are you old man?
Morbius: Are you the dog’s owner?
???: The name is Boodle and I’m the mayor of this town. Oh, those are some injuries you both have. I take it you guys had a run in with Buggy.
Luffy: So how are they?
Boodle: Well, your friend’s wound seems to have healed a bit already for some reason.
Morbius: I’ll be fine, Luffy.
Luffy: and Zoro?
Boodle: I told him he needed a doctor, but he instead he’d sleep it off. So I let him recover in my house.
Nami: So this dog’s name is Chouchou?
Luffy: Why is it just sitting there like that?
Morbius: and it’s giving us the death stare.
Boodle: He’s guarding the store in front of us.
Nami: The pet store?
Boodle: The owner was a very good friend of mine.
*He feeds Chouchou.*
Boodle: When he passed away, I assumed the role of taking care of him.
Nami: He died?
Boodle: Three months ago after fighting an illness for a long time.
Nami: So he’s been waiting for his master to return?
Boodle: That seems to be the case. But Chouchou is a smart dog. He’s probably known for a while that his master won’t come back.
Nami: Then why does he stay here?
Boodle: Obviously, this store is treasure to him. His owner left him this store, so now he guards it. I’ve tried to take him back to my place, but he won’t take so much as a step away from this place.
Morbius: Loyalty to the end.
*Studdenly, they hear loud stomps.*
Nami: What is that?
Boodle: It’s beast tamer Mohji! We’ve got to run!
*He runs away.*
Nami: What are you talking about?!
*She runs away too.*
Morbius: Wait! We can’t leave Luffy here! He’s in a cage!
Luffy: Come on doggy, give me the key. Something is coming.
*Beast tamer Mohji appears in front of them riding his large pet lion, Richie.*
Mohji: It seems your friends have abandoned you.
