The Cure part 1
After gaining two members to join his crew, Luffy and his friends sail towards Hawaii. In hope to find a cure for morbius’s blood disease.
Luffy: Are we there yet?
Morbius: I think so… I don’t know. I got this compass. Let me see.
Zoro: Is that it?
*Zoro points to an island in the distance.*
Morbius: Yup. That’s Puerto Rico. I can tell.
*They make port at a dock on the island.*
Luffy: So where do we find these vampire bats?
Morbius: I read in a book that they live in the mountains.
*They begin their hike through the mountains.*
Zoro: Are you sure this is where we’ll find them?
*Zoro cuts some bushes with his swords.*
Morbius: Yes, I’m sure.
*They find a large cave.*
Morbius: That cave is bound to have some specimens. They’re thirst for blood is the key.
Luffy: I don’t know how that works, but ok.
Morbius: well, you see the process call-
*But Luffy tunes out to morbius’s science talk.*
Morbius: and once I cure this illness by treating myself with fluids distilled from vampire bats and electro-shock treatment as a way to electrically create new blood cells.
Luffy:… Ok.
Morbius: Alright, here goes nothing…
*Morbius goes into the dark cave and sees rare vampire bats. But some fly around and bite him.*
Morbius: GAH! Little rodents!
Zoro: Do you need any help?
Morbius: Yeah! I need you to hold this!
*He hands Zoro a jar and shoves bats into it.*
Morbius: There we go.
Luffy: Now what?
Morbius: We found a lab.
*Morbius uses an abandoned building that used to be a meth lab to find his cure while Luffy and Zoro eat McDonald’s outside.*
Luffy: These are yummy!
Zoro: You can say that again.
Morbius: Alright, now to use the distilled vampire bat blood and Electroshock therapy.
*As Morbius turns on the machine to distill the cure, one of the vampire bats escapes and flies around the room.*
Morbius: Hey, how’d you get out?!
*The bat bites him, leaving some blood out and gets electrocuted by the machine.
Morbius: Gggrrrabbvvassgghytrrx
*Luffy and Zoro hear a commotion from inside.*
Zoro: That doesn’t sound good.
Luffy: We should probably go see if he needs help.
*They go inside and find Morbius looking like he’s exhausted. Expect now he’s normal looking.*
Luffy: Looks like that cure worked.
Zoro: how are you feeling?
Morbius: I feel… different, a bit more powerful I dare say. I feel good!
Luffy: I guess you accomplished your dream then.
Morbius: I did it! I did it!
*He tosses a table across the room.*
Morbius: Uh…
Zoro: I think it worked a little too well.
Morbius: Yeah… I don’t think that was supposed to happen. I think I’m going to lay down to rest. Are there any hotels around here?
Luffy: I think I saw one not far from here.
Zoro: I’ve only got enough money for us to stay for one night though.
Morbius: That will be good enough.
*Later, the trio finds a hotel with a phone booth outside.*
Morbius: I’m going to make a call to my old lab friends real quick. They’ll be happy I cured myself.
Luffy: You do that. Zoro and I will get a room and settle in.
Zoro: Though one of us will have to sleep on the floor.
*That night, Luffy and Zoro wait for him to return.*
Zoro: So why hasn’t Morbius arrived yet?
Luffy: I don’t know. Think we should go look for him?
Zoro: Probably a good idea.
*They leave the hotel room to look for morbius.*
Zoro: He said he’d be at that phone booth.
Luffy: But it’s been hours. Where could he be?
*The duo see a group of FBI agent looking men.*
Zoro: Who are they?
Luffy: Why don’t we ask them?
Zoro: I don’t think that’s a good idea-
*But Luffy is already talking to them.*
Zoro: Are you kidding me?!
Luffy: Who are you guys?
???: Phil Coulson, agent from Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division. We’re here because we received word of several sightings of a Blood sucking creature tonight. You wouldn’t happen to know anything about it, would you?
Luffy: A vampire?
Phil Coulson: That’s one way to describe it.
Luffy: Our friend looked like a vampire, but he doesn’t anymore.
Zoro: Why are you chasing something that doesn’t exist?
Phil Coulson: There are a lot of things in this world which most people don’t believe in. We’re the ones who take care of such things. If you see anything, let us know.
*The agents begin sweeping the town.*
Luffy: Those guys must be monster hunters or something.
Zoro: Probably someone just playing a prank on everyone.
*As the night goes on, Luffy and Zoro continue looking for their friend.*
Luffy: Man, where is he?
Zoro: We better find him soon.
*A woman runs past them.*
Luffy: What's that lady running for? Is she in a hurry?
Woman: help, those thugs were robbing me and are now being attacked by a monster!
Luffy: You’re complaining about a monster that’s attacking the people who were trying to rob you?
Woman: Yes! The monster is eating them! Run!
Luffy: A monster you say? Now I’m curious
*She runs away and they hear a noise from an alley. They both move in to investigate.*
Zoro: Let's see what this monster looks like.
*As they walk into the alley, they see someone beat up the thugs.*
Luffy: Why does the monster look like a normal guy?
*The monster senses them.*
