The Cure part 2
Luffy: It's looking at us now.
Zoro: I see that.
*Zoro pulls out two of his swords.*
???: Rrrraaawwwrrrr!!!
*The monster runs away.*
Luffy: Get back here! Gum gum pistol!
*Luffy tries to punch the monster, but it dodges luffy’s attack and gets away.*
Thug: That thing… it was sucking my blood!
*The thug shows off bite marks on his neck and dies.*
Zoro: I guess I was wrong. Vampires are real.
*As the vampire moves through the alleys, a shield agent named Vic Slaughter tracks it down.*
Vic: I have a visual on the vampire.
*He moves in slowly as the vampire feeds on leftover blood.*
Vic: Disgusting creature...
*The vampire turns back and sees Vic with the gun.*
Vampire: GGGRRR!!!
*It pounces quickly to dodge the bullets and breaks his arms*
Vic: AAAAGHH!!
*Then it breaks his legs*
Vic: AAAH!!! GET AWAY!
Vampire: Gggrrrr...
*it drags Vic to the dirt, where it grab a shovel and begins the process of burying Vic Slaughter alive*
Vic: NO! NO!!
*It grabs him, bites his neck, sucks the blood and throws him down the hole. Then it starts putting the dirt back in...*
*The next day, the duo return to the hotel room and find Morbius asleep on one of the beds.*
Luffy: He was here the whole time?!
Zoro: So we wasted our time for nothing?!
*Morbius wakes up.*
Morbius: Oh hey guys, what’s up? You both look tired.
Zoro: You didn’t come to the room last night, so we spent the night looking for you.
Morbius: Oh sorry. I was just sorta exploring my new body and stuff. Like going out and drinking for the first time. So that’s what beer tastes like.
Luffy: And there were these guys looking for a vampire. What were they called again?
Zoro: I can’t remember anymore.
Morbius: A vampire? Seems unbelievable. They don’t exist.
Luffy: We saw one last night and it attacked some guys.
Morbius: It was probably just a crazy head.
Zoro: One of them had bite marks on their neck.
Morbius: Cannibalism is not uncommon for a crackhead. Now I wanted to show you guys something.
Luffy: What is it?
Morbius: Okay, so remember how I threw that table with minimum effort?
Luffy: Yeah.
Morbius: Well, I discovered I have an increase in strength.
*Morbius picks up the bed effortlessly.*
Zoro: Impressive.
Luffy: Looks like that cure thing made you strong.
Morbius: It didn’t just make me strong. I also have become more acrobatic.
*Morbius performs cartwheels backflips all over the room.*
Luffy: That's awesome!
Morbius: Yeah! The chemicals and electroshock therapy didn’t just cure me, it didn’t just make me normal. It made me better.
Zoro: Then I guess you don’t have to always rely on us to defend you.
Morbius: I definitely feel awesome. But this weird thing keeps happening to me.
Luffy: And that is?
Morbius: Whenever I make a noise, no matter how dark it is, I can always see it. Last night the room was so dark, but I saw everything clear as day.
Zoro: Like that thing bats and other animals do?
Luffy: What would happen if you saw something in the daylight?
Morbius: I would see everything. Every shade is lit up.
Zoro: I hate to break it to you guys, but I only had enough money to stay here for one night.
Morbius: Then let’s keep moving.
*Meanwhile*
Phil Coulson: There definitely was a vampire here last night.
???: Alright then, leave it to me. I’ve had dealings with the paranormal for a while now. I’ll track down this bad boy.
