Peter's not sure where he's swinging to, but he just needs to get away from Mr. Stark before he tries to get Peter involved again. It's definately the wrong decision this time.
Mr. Stark... Mr. Stark had betrayed everything he stood for, and then pretended it wasn't him, because no matter how many speeches he gave, he knew deep down that it was the wrong decision.
It made Peter sick to his stomach.
He had to keep going, though. He had to find Matt, because Matt wasn't about to let a goddamn alien snap be the death of him, Peter knew from experience. Matt's luck ensured that he'd always be the last one to go out, no matter how battered and bruised he was.
It's halfway there when he hears it.
He can tell that it'd be loud upclose, especially for Matt, and jesus christ, who made a machine that just rings and rings and rings like that?
And then it hits him.
Somebody set up a trap for Daredevil.
Somebody set up a trap for Matt.
And based on the last two days, Peter's got a heart-wrenching suspicion as to who it is.
One time, the door had opened.
One time, he'd been given food by whoever had locked him in this shit-hole, but had ignored everything he'd tried to ask.
He's certain if he hadn't lost his sight, the light from outside the door would have hurt him badly, because he can hear all the buzzing as soon as the door began to crack.
At some point, he knows he's going stir-crazy, just wanting to know what this guy's intentions are, but it seems like whoever this is decided to play the long-game.
Matt can wait.
Hopefully, at least, it's not Fisk.
