Love Is...Power

Thor and Loki may their way to the gates of Wakanda.
Thor held his hand out in front of him and pressed on a forcefield in front of him. The blue around his hand surrounded it then a blue beam shot out of the forcefield revealing a screen.
“Who are you?” A young girl said on the other side.
“I am Thor Odinson. I have came to talk with someone.” Thor replied walking into view of the screen. The girl looked to her right and then a man came into view.
“Ahh, Thor. It is good to see you. Who is that beside you?” The man pointed to Loki. Thor looked at his brother and then back to the screen.
“This is my brother Loki. We need to talk to y/n” Thor replied hesitantly on the first part. They looked at him questionably before nodding their heads.
“I will send a jet to your location. Wait there.” The man said. Thor thanked them and the two of them waited for the jet to get to them. Some minutes later they heard the hum of a Jet and looked up to see it coming closer to them. The forcefield then opened a small portion for them to walk through.
The Jet landed and the door on the side opened up. Loki looked at Thor who was smiling at his brothers confusion. The two of them walked up onto the jet and was greeted with a man flying the jet.
“I am here to escort you to the King.” He said as he turned back to the controls and closed the door to the jet. Thor thanked the man and they sat down. The jet started to hover and was off again.
“King?” Loki asked a bit dryly looking at his brother with annoyance and confusion plastered on his face. Thor nodded and explained where they were and who they had talked to.
The jet landed on a landing pad beside a grand building. The two brothers walked off the Jet and was greeted by T’challa and his sister Shuri. He smiled at Thor and extended his hand, the two of them shook hands.
“Thank you T’challa.” Thor said as he smiled to them.
“You are welcome. It is always good to see a friend.” T’challa replied turning his attention to Loki. “I don’t believe we’ve met.” He said.
“I assure you he will not do anything. We need Y/N’s help. Once we’ve talked we will leave.” T’challa looked back and Thor and nodded his head.
“I will show you to her, but I will not promise that she will go with you.” He said as he waved them to follow.
They all walked into the building and onto the balcony of the first floor. T’challa walked to the banister of the balcony and pointed out into the city below. There was a market or festival of some sort going on in the streets below the palace. Thor and Loki walked to the edge and looked down.
T’challa was pointing to a woman who was talking with a few others at a markets stand. She was dressed in a pair of black jeans and a white top tucked into the jeans. A gold and purple sash handing over her shoulder and tied closely at her hip with a pair of gold hoops and layered gold necklaces to match.
“She is helping out with the market that is on today.” T’challa said as he looked at Thor and Loki.
“Thank you again.” Thor said as he shook his hand one more time before the two of them started to make their way out of the palace. They walked down the palace stairs and into the streets. As they walked up to the stand that Y/n was at, they saw her bent down handing a doll to a young girl who took it excitedly. Thor and Loki stopped at the edge of the booth.
“Y/N” Thor said calmly as y/n stood up and turned around and smiled at Thor. 
 “Well, Well. Look who it is.” She said as she turned and said goodbye to the people she was talking to. The bowed their head and thanked her then walked off.
“Wakanda life suits you, Lady Y/n” Thor said as he smiled at her. She looked up at him then walked up to him.
“Thank you” She started with a chuckle. “But, if I know you any. You’re not here for a catch up. So what’s up?” She said as she started walking down the streets back to the palace. Thor and Loki followed.
“We need your help.” Thor said simply as followed just behind her with Loki beside him. Y/n looked over her shoulder at them with a brow arched, once she saw that he was serious she stopped and turned to them both. Crossing her arms over her chest.
“With what?” She asked with a small sigh.
“Our father. He’s um..” Thor trailed off as he looked at Loki who was all of a sudden uncomfortable with he topic clearing his throat and shifting his weight on his feet clasping his hands in front of him. “He’s gone. And our sister has come to take his place.” Thor said as he looked back at y/n who was looking at them, waiting for more information.
“With him gone from Asgard. She has came back to take over and destroy Asgard. We need your help to beat her.” Thor explained a little more.
“So let me get this straight..” She started waving her hands in front of her. “You two can’t do it? I mean you two are Gods of corse.” She said gesture to them. Thor sighed and shook his head. 
 “She is very powerful. She broke my hammer with one grip of her hand. my people are in danger.” Thor said walking a little closer to her. She sighed and looked down for a second before turning on her heels and beginning to walk.
“Even if I wanted to Thor. You know I left all the hero stuff behind me when I came here.” She started as she started up the steps to the palace. Thor and Loki hurried to catch up to her.
“I know you have. And if I had another choice you know I wouldn’t be here. The last thing I want to do is ask for you to do something you don’t want. But T’challa mentioned that you are free from what held you back before. And as soon as we’re done, you can come right back here and live out your days.” He said waving his hands in gesturing to the whole of Wakanda. She walked into the palace as the two Dora Milaje guards let them pass through. She sighed and turned to face them again. “Let’s say I go. How do you know I can beat her.” She said looking at Thor.
“Y/n, you are one of the most powerful people I know. I saw what you done with Ultron and many other places. You are the definition of power. If anyone has a chance it’s you.” Thor said pleading with her to help them. She sighed and shook her head.
“I don’t know Thor. I can’t just leave. Bucky is here and everything else. I can’t just up and go fight some God in another detention.” She said as she turned to leave. Thor grabbed her hand and she stoped to turn to face him.
“Y/n, please. This is our home. Our people. We can’t do this without you. I can’t do this without you.” Thor said as he placed his hand on his chest.
Y/n looked down and sighed, she then looked back up at Thor and patted his hand with her free one.
“Fine, I’ll go. Just let me suit up.” She said as she smiled softly at her friend. Thor beamed back a huge grin and thanked her as he let go of her and she turned to go get ready.

Some minutes later they hear y/n come back in the room. They turned and saw that she was suited up.
She was dressed in her suit that was purple, gold and silver. Thor smiled and clasped his hands together.
“New suit?” He said waving at the suit she was wearing. She laughed softly and nodded.
“Even though I gave up the hero title. I didn’t give up trying to heal from my past. Witch means I trained, a lot. Which also means new suits.” She smirked at Thor as they walked out to the helipad and then she turned around.
“I’m going with you, on one condition.” She said holding up one finger to Thor who nodded and lifted his arms in surrender.
“Anything.” He said jokingly bowing. Y/n rolled her eyes and pushed on his shoulder making him stumble.
“I have to go see Bucky before we go. If he finds out I left without telling him he’ll be worried sick.” She said as Thor stood back up and nodded. 
 “Of course. Lead the way.” Thor said smiling at her.
“Leaving without a Goodbye?” A voice said coming from behind Loki. All three of them looked to see T’challa walking towards them. Y/n smiled and walked over to him.
“Of course not. We’re going to see Bucky as well.” She said to him pointing behind her shoulder. T’challa nodded and then extended his fist out and smiled.
“Be safe.” He said as she bumped his fist with hers and then gave him a quick hug. 
 “For sure.” He smiled and then gave her a wink.
They all said goodbye and the three were off in the opposite direction of wherever Bucky was.
“So uhh, the King huh?” Thor said teasingly rubbing Y/n hair. She groaned and fixed her hair turning to him as they flew.
“if you must know, we did have a thing a while back but we’re just friends now.” She said looking at Thor who had his brows raised. 
 “What happened? If I may ask.” He said curiously as shew shrugged her shoulders and looked ahead of her.
“Just wasn’t right. Plus the attention you get with his title was a little too much.” She chuckled waving her hands in front of her as she talked. Thor nodded.

A few minutes later they has made it to a small house. The door of the house opened and out came Bucky who smiled at Y/n when he saw her. She smiled back walking up to him with Thor and Loki following. The two gods were talking with each other softly and once they were up at the house they stopped.
“Back at it are you?” Bucky teased waving his hand up and down in reference to the suit. Y/n smiled and shrugged. “I guess two gods can’t handle themselves” She said jokingly as she looked back at the brothers who were looking at her with their eyebrows arched and arms crossed. She laughed a little turning back to her brother. 
 “I’ll be back soon.” She said as they hugged. Bucky nodded and then pulled away.
“I know you will. Just be careful. And uh, kick some ass for me too” He said as they bumped fists and laughed.
“Will do.” She said. They said goodbye and she started to walk back to the palace to leave with Thor and Loki.
“Hey sis!” Bucky called out to her making her turn on her heels back at him. He pointed at her. “Come home safe. That’s an order.” He said smiling.
She smiled back nodding and saluting her brother. “Always Sargent.” They both laughed and said another goodbye.
The three then walked back to the helipad in silence. Once there Y/n stopped and looked at Thor. So how are we getting to Asgard. Thor shuffled and then sighed. “I think I can contact someone who may be able to help us get there.” Thor then backed up a little and looked up at the sky and closed his eyes sighing.
Loki walked over to Y/n so that Thor could focus and they watched. 
 “Hemidall, I know you’re out there somewhere.” He whispered ad he opened his eyes that were now a bright orange. A few minutes later he came back around and walked over to Loki and Y/n.
“I have someone to help us. He is sneaking to the bridge now to get us there.” He said as he nodded. “Brace yourself” He told Y/n as he looked back up and then a burst of light shot down to them engulfing them as they lifted off the ground. Y/n watched as everything out of the beam was blurry and just as soon as it started it was over. She was stumbling to catch her feet when they landed, she felt the floor beneath her but it felt as is she was on a ship. Before she could fall a hand grabbed into her arm catching her and pulling her back up. She looked up to see Loki staring down at her, if she didn’t know any better she would think he had the hint of a smirk on his face.
“Umm, thank you.” She said softly as she backed up a bit and smoothed out her suit.
“Oh course.” Loki replied as he brought his hand back to his side and cleared his throat not letting his eyes leave her. Then they were all interrupted with a sword flying and landing in the ground in front of Thor.
“Hemidall, get out of here. Keep the people safe while we handle her.” Hemidal then nodded running out the golden dome and then disappeared right at the doorway. Thor then led Loki and Y/n out of the dome and onto the rainbow bridge.
“I see you’ve brought help.” Hella said as she walked slowly to them. Thor nodded.
“This ends here.” He boomed back at her, Hella smirked at him.
“Oh really now?” She asked sarcastically as she sent a sword flying at Thor making him fall to the ground and roll to the edge of the bridge.
“Thor!!” Yelled Y/n who started to run after Thor to help him up but was shot back with a blast of energy that Hella sent her way. She landed on her back with a grunt. Loki ran to her and helped her up. 
 “I’ll help Thor, you distract her.” Loki said as Y/n nodded.
“Listen, the reign of terror stops here.” Y/n said as she let the glow of purple grown from her hands and she walked closer to Hella slowly. Hella laughed at her and stopped walking.
“Your magic. It’s adorable.” She said as she sent a sword to Loki. It landing right between where Thor and and Loki. Loki was sent back and Thor lost his balance from getting up and was sent back falling off the bridge. 
 No Thor!” Loki yelled as he scrambled to get back up but was stopped by two blasts of energy sending him flying back. He landed and rolled back on his back then started his way back up materializing a sword of his own. Y/n came running to Loki to help him. She raised her hands and let a wave of water come from the water below come crashing into Hella.
Loki looked at her and raised his eyebrows, him being distracted let Hella crash down a rain of blasts making the two part going back falling. Y/n was getting back up when she was shot with another blast and sword following almost hitting her leg. She dove and rolled to the edge of the bridge trying to get back up.
Loki saw that Y/n was about to fall and ran to her trying to help her back up. A few daggers coming raining down close to him. Y/n was slipping out of his grip and Hella laughed coming closer to Loki. Y/n slipped and Loki dropped his grip on her hand Kat starting to fall. Loki looked back up to See hella about to shoot him again with a blast. He had to decide, help save Y/n or try and beat Hella. He couldn’t let Y/n die, not after he saw how much she cared about her brother and risked everything to come help them. He sighed and dove off the bridge falling towards Y/n. He caught up to her enough to get a grip on her.
“Grab my hand!” He yelled at Y/n. She stretched her hand fingers coming close to Lokis as he pulled forward enough to grab on to her. Once he had a grip onto her he pulled her close to him as they fell through space. They reached a part where the cold nothingness of the air around them changed to what felt like glass raining down on them. Y/n yelled as Loki hurried her face into him as they fell, trying to catch most of the damage of the glass. They finally broke free of the feeling and fell through a portal.
Feeling the change around them but not enough to finally register it they landed on the ground beneath them with loud grunt. Y/n pulled her face away from Loki’s chest and looked around, they had landed on the edge of what looked like a large landfill of some sort. A little ways away was a huge city. She then noticed where she was, on top of Loki. He had taken the brunt of the fall him groaning below her. She started to panic a little and scrambled to her feet once up she grabbed into Lokis hand helping him up.
“Oh, I’ve got to stop doing that.” He said as he rubbed the back of his neck. Noticing Y/n starting at him his attention went straight to her. He looked at her “Are you alright?” He asked worried.
“You took the brunt of the fall shielding me from the landing, and you’r asking if I’m alright?” Y/n said in shock. Loki stumbled over his words trying to find the right ones. Before he could answer they heard commotion coming from in front of them. Y/n turned her attention from looking at Loki to what she saw in front of her. Some small girl with antena looking horns and a pale pink color was running away from a larger alien looking guard. Before Loki could stop her Y/n was on her way to help the little girl. She ducked in front of the little girl blocking her from a hit and kicked the guard in the shin, once he was off balance she then punched him in the chin sending him back. Him landing on the ground with a thud. Loki came running over to her.
“That was impressive.” He said with a soft smirk on his face. She looked back up to him sending him the same shy subtle smirk before bending down to the little girl. She want no older than about 5, that is if her years were the same as earths. 
 “Are you okay honey.” Y/n said softly and the little girl nodded her head softly. Y/n looked down and saw that she was holding a half broken piece of bread. “Did you steal that?” She asked as the girl nodded slower looking down.
“Well, no one will hurt you anymore. Here can I see it, I have a trick to show you.” Y/n said still in the calm soft voice holding put her hand. The little girl hesitated but gave her the piece of bread. Y/n then held it in both of her hands and breathed out slowly. The bread started to glow purple and then grew into a large whole piece of bread and then doubled into two. Loki looked down in sock and awe at the bread and Y/n herself.
Y/n smiled and handed both pieces of bread to the girl. “There, is that enough?” She asked and the girl nodded excitedly hugging Y/n then running off into an alley. Y.n smiled and stood back up looking at Loki who was staring at her. He smiled softly and was about to say something when he was a cut off by slow clapping behind him. They both turned and looked to see a man in extravagant golden clothing clapping at Y/n. Loki wrapped an arm around Y/n stomach and pushed her closer behind him watching the man closely.
Y/n shot Loki a confused look then turned her attention to the man in front of them.
“Now honey, that just touched my heart.” He said placing his hands over his heart a smile plastered over his face. “You my love, are an impressive woman.” He said walking up to Y/n trying to takeover hand, Y/n backing up subtlety as Loki stepped in front of her and the man.
“I don’t think so.” Loki said glaring down at the man. The man just looked at Loki and laughed.
“Oh relax will you, I’m not a threat. I just want to know how you did that. He said peeking ver Lokis shoulder. Y/n placed a hand on Lokis arm to help him relax and stepped out beside him. “It’s a long story. I have magic.” She said softly and hesitantly. The man nodding and humming. “Well, I’d love to hear it. Why don’t you two come back to my palace. You two can stay with me and tell me that lovely story over dinner tonight.” He said as he looked at them two. Loki and Y/n looked at each other with raised brows. “Oh I forgot to mention. I am the Grand Master. I run this lovely little planet.” He said and Loki then turned his attention to the Grand master and smiled a fake warm smile.
“We would be honored to accompany you your highness.” He said bowing his head and grabbing Y/n hand leading her to follow his story. Y/n nodded back not entirely shore what he has up his sleeve.
“Amazing! Follow me then.” The grand master said clapping his hand and turning around leading them and two different looking guards through the streets.
