Hero working is intimaly linked to marketing of some form, see Jean Grey, she is a hero who start as a model and even after her debut as an oficial hero, she still needs a good campaing or strong presence in the social medias. Kitty may admire the woman, but begs the question How she deals with privacy? Do people really respect her wishes?
She can admire Ororo Monroe's story. The woman is nothing less than a queen. She is also an embassador for Wakanda and is doing a wonderful job- her last mission provide health care for people in the poorest regions- and Kitty can't help by admire her, yet, the same question remains Does the media takes a tool on her?
Kitty is fresh out of her model career- much to joyment of Emma Frost, who is never shy about her stance on bullying Kitty- and ready to do some real work. I mean, the work I want...modeling is work but ...not something I want to experience again.
Her mission is to locate some stolen items, a magical rock- the irony here is how the rock is not even remotely magic, it is just a name given for causing rauckus among people- and so far, her power of phasing is helping.
Of course, she is not alone.
"So...the magic rock is not magic?" Kurt asked confused. His uniform has half of buttoms open, Kitty has to ask if he is doing that on purpose or if he is that oblivious.
Kitty does not stare. Her checks are pink but she doesn't stare. Not really.
"Yes, it is just in name...but is very expensive" concludes sagely.
"Why you took this mission?" Asked Kurt intrigued, Kitty has always a variety of missions from rescuing to appeace Magneto.
"Oh, well, thought why not?" And remarks. "And why you accepted it?"
"Becuase thought the rock was magic and because you accepted it"
Kitty can feel her checks getting heated up.
