Kitty Pryde is not one to say she has tons of friends or even saying she is popular. However, the few friends she had made under her time in Xavier's School are precious for her. Rogue, Evan and of course, Kurt.
But in the last mission one thing lead to another and Kurt Wagner, the Nightcrawler, ended up injuried and Kitty saw how the process of healing took time.
He almost died...he almost died.
Once he is waken up and Dr. MCcoy assuage everyone how Kurt will be fine. Kitty is the first to give a hug on him- the elf is purple and Kitty has no idea why- and once she let go of him, she makes a promise.
"I will protect you!" Kitty vouched and Kurt blinked utterly confused but grateful.
Raven Darkholme has a plan. A good one, but even having an excellent plan is impossible for the woman to ignore the events of Kitty Pryde acting as Kurt Wagner's- her son, a secret she keeps to seven keys- bodyguard.

The woman makes a small note to spare Kitty's life when her evil plan is finally conclude.
