The path is nothing if filled with restaurants, chatty people and a sense of pair of eyes- this is a popular city, a popular point for turism and of course, a perfect place for eyesight- and maybe, if the situation wasn't so dire, maybe Scott Summers would have enjoyed his time more.
Kitty is sautering among him- her hands are on her pocket, a smile splatter on her rounded face- and notices such eyes. "This place is really famous, almost like Paris" chuckles.
Dr. Doom created this island, the word is right, he created an island and turned in a paradisic place for tourism.
Scott can't answer verbally. He nods wordless as his eyes notice the tourists- a couple kissing makes his stomach turn, even more because the woman is a red hair- and stops. "I don't get it"
Kitty stops blinks. "Is the candy? Look, they are basically made of sugar" she is holding a cotton candy. Scott is sure she wasn't holding one before, but then again, this place is so popular...who is to say she gain one just because.
"No, not the candy. His mission" Scott used a small tone, fearing the mere possibility of saying half of his name would bring him here. Kitty is just eating her cotton candy.
"I mean, for all we know HE could be that woman on the phone" gesture to a blonde woman talking on the phone. "Or maybe the waiter" and gives a pointy look to said waiter who is serving a couple, well, he was. Now he is looking at Scott.
Kitty shakes her head. "Oh, Scott. HE is a being who has more on his plate than laugh at us" LK has been giving "special attention" to the Xmen for months, and Scott in a rather suicidal move asked if there anything they could do to...make him leave them be.
Turns out the Dark Pharaoh has a challange. If Scott and a companion- LK select Kitty to quickly- in a certain amount of time, then LK will leave them.
If Scott and Kitty find a ruby ring in Yamahan in 4 days...then LK will leave them.
A rotten challange....impossible to win.
Kitty doesn't seem to realize that, she waves her hand- the cotton candy is long gone as if it was never there- lifts her right foot and open a small secret pocket where a golden coin appears.
"We can go to Yamahan, look, he didn't give us this challange with the hopes to see us dying to find it. He gave us this challange knowing the land of deceit and lie would drive us mad, the ring as you soon shall see won't be a issue to find...it is all about madness ans chaos" she adjust her hairstyle as Scott remembers she is a witch.
"You...read about this?" Scott inquired as the ring was something Magic has little information on such curse object.
Kitty beams and gave the golden coin. She can sensehis whys and hows and she will think something later, right now, she has a job to do. "My intention is to break laws, specially magical ones" giggles and Scott can't pretend to know such witch. "But HE is a creature of evil chaos....Yamahan is one of his realms, the lies and deceit can corrupt you"
"And...we have a way to not be corrupted?" Scott asked already expecting the worse. The woman giggles again, explains how they just need to hold on their truth.
"So, you have a few minutes to hold on what is true to you...I need to peace the poor waiter" she points to the waiter who reconigzes Scott Summers, the fearless leader of Xmen.
The waiter and the couple seem to share the same idea.
Kitty moves to them. Her eyes are slowly going up, thrn goes down as she is facing the waiter. "So....with which Avatar of yours I should talk?" Inquired at the couple and the to the waiter.
The waiter has one golden eye ans red. "You notice me? How interesting"
"Hard not to...I can see your tentacles" replies bemused and crosses her arms.
"Oh...I see" LK looks intrigued. "I can't help following you...I want to see how you will break my rules" there's a smirk on his face.
"Prepare to see a Deus Ex Machine then" Kitty replies and LK narrows his eyes, scartches his chin- a tentacle can pass as a hand for a solid minute or vice verse- and has to ask.
"Are your gods always this blue? Look...unhuman" comes closer and something in his mind is nagging, chewing and hissing how this color is similar to something non-human.
"Don't compare me with the inhumans" Kitty said flatly. "And keep your promise, we will bring the ruby ring"
"Of course..."
