The call and moving in
[It is midday, Adora is setting up a tracker pad that Bow gave her. As she's setting up, Mara and Razz come outside to refill her water and give her some snacks before they leave to gather berries and give Adora some privacy as she calls the BFS. Adora is sitting on the comfy picnic blanket from earlier and Mara and Razz are holding baskets.]
Adora: Thank you both do much for doing this for me. It means a lot to me.
Razz: Of course Adora dearie, it's nothing, anything for you.
Mara: Remember, you can go into the house if you need anything.
Adora: Don't worry, I'll be ok. Go have fun and grab some extra berries for me and the rest of the squad please!
Mara: Of course, see you in a bit.
[Razz kisses Adora's cheek and she and Mara leave to get the berries. Adora watches them leave and then calls Glimmer and Bow. As the pad rings, she drinks some water and eats some more fruit. The pad suddenly beeps, and Glimmer and Bow show up on screen.]
Glimmer: Adora? What's going on?
Bow: Is everything ok? You never call.
Adora: *takes a deep breath* I'm leaving Catra. I know everyone has seen what I've gone through despite me trying to hide it. I need help moving out and breaking up with her and I want me best friends to help me.
[Bow and Glimmer sit in silence, surprised at the news. It was no secret that Catra was a shit partner but hearing Adora admit it made it more real and sad. They didn't care what they had to do, they were ready to do anything to help her.]
Glimmer: Oh Adora, I'm so sorry we didn't help you more, we tried our best but-
Adora: *stopping Glimmer while she's ranting* No don't blame yourselves, Catra manipulated me and isolated me to stop you from helping me. Don't apologize for what she did, she is at fault, not you or Bow or anyone else. I'm not at fault.
[She says the last sentence for herself but her friends don't mind as she deserves to say it.]
Bow: You're right. Glimmer, we did what we could and now we can help more.
Glimmer: Ok, what do you need Adora? We'll do anything, just say the word.
Adora: I want to move back into my room at Brightmoon but I don't think I can go back to my place to get my things, I'm not ready to face Catra and I'm scared of what she'll do to me if I try breaking up with her in person. I've written a letter but I don't think I can go near that place, not right now, at least.
Glimmer: I can call a meeting of the Alliance and see who's willing to pick up your stuff.
Bow: And I can hand the letter to Catra or drop it off when I help get your stuff so that you can be safe.
Glimmer: I'll also help set up anything you need in your room and have dad and Aunt Castaspella place spells around the castle and you to make sure nothing happens.
Adora: Thank you guys, I'm really happy that you guys are in my life.
Bow: Aww, we're also happy to be with you.
Glimmer: We love you so much Adora. Now, where are you? We'll come get you now if you want.
Adora: I'm at Razz's, I was doing my therapy session with Mara. I'd love for you guys to come by but let's wait until Razz and Mara are back. I don't want to disappear suddenly and worry them. I've got snacks and drinks I can share with y'all and I can let you read the letter. Besides, I was promised some berries and I wanna eat some asap.
[Adora smiles sheepishly as her friends laugh and she joins in quickly. It's been so long since she's genuinely smiled and laughed like this and she loves the warm feeling in her heart. She can't wait to be able to hug Bow and Glimmer and be with them again. As the laughing dies down, she looks at her friends and her friends see her glowing for with real happiness for the first time in months.]
Glimmer: Well I'll get me and Bow to Razz's now, just got one little thing to do before we come by.
Bow: Ouu what are we getting?
Glimmer: I can't say yet, it's a surprise for Adora, do you want to ruin the surprise?
Bow: Fineeeeeee, I'll stay quiet for now.
Adora: *giggling* It's ok, you don't have to do anything for me, you're already helping me so much.
Glimmer: Yeah but I wanna, besides, it's nothing big, I promise *she winks at Adora, with some sparkles appearing as she does*
Bow: Ok, we'll see you soon Adora! Love youuu!
Glimmer: Stay safe, ok?
Adora: I'll be safe, I promise. Love you both!
Glimmer: Love you too, Adora.
[The BFS hangs up and Adora is feeling much better than when the day started. She looks at the extra paper she has and decides to write something as she waits for her friends to arrive]

[Thirty minutes pass and Adora has filled a few pages with something she's been wanting to do for a while. As she sets her pencil down and relaxes a bit, she hears a noise behind her. It's the comforting sound of Glimmer's magic as she and Bow teleport to Adora.]
Adora: *starting to turn around to greet her friends* Guys you're here! I've missed you so much!
Glimmer: Ahh we've missed you too! But don't turn around just yet. We still have the surprise for you.
Bow: That's right! Hold onnn!
[Bow runs up to Adora and covers her eyes so that Glimmer can set up what she brought. She quickly gets everything ready and makes sure it looks nice before letting Bow uncover Adora's eyes.]
Glimmer: Ok you can look now!
[Bow removes his hands and in front of Adora is a cake, chocolate with red frosting and hearts, sparkles, and little swords drawn on it with icing, done by her friends. Next to the cake is on the right, is a journal with a blue cover and flowers embroidered into the cover. On the inside is gold lined pages with lined paper and a bookmark to remind her where she left off. On the left, is a bouquet of mixed flowers, carnations and roses, her favorite flowers. Adora sits in shock for a while and then gets up to hug her friends tightly.]
Adora: Thank you so much for this, I love it!
Glimmer: Awww it was nothing.
Bow: We wanted to help make sure you were completely ok so we thought your favorite flowers and cake would help. Glimmer came up with the notebook idea!
Adora: *blushing* Glimmer, you remembered how much I love writing?
Glimmer: *blushing* Well yeah. I remember all of your favorite things, if it's important to you, it's important to me. I mean, I also remember Bow's favorite things too, you know.
Bow: Awww Glimmer, I didn't know you were such a cutie!
Glimmer: Am nott, stop ittt.
Adora: *giggling* But you are cute Glimmer. Not just with your personality but you also look very cute!
Glimmer: *turning more red* I do?
Adora: *blushing much more* O-oh, well, yeah, I mean, like, you know, I um
Bow: Awww you guys are adora-ble! Heheh, see what I did there?
Glimmer: Haha, yes Bow, we see. Now should we start eating this cake?
Adora: Yes, we should.
Bow: Ok, I brought plates and forks to eat it with!
Adora: Actually, we should eat it the best friend squad way.
Glimmer: With our hands? Let's do it!
Bow: Wooo, best friend squad is ready to eat this cake!
[As the BFS eats the cake with their hands, they start laughing and telling stories of their many sleepovers and adventures of sneaking around Angella to grab snacks.]

[Once everyone gets done with eating the cake, Adora cleans up the now empty cake box and shows Bow and Glimmer where they can wash up. The three get done with washing up and sit back down outside and start relaxing. Mara and Razz walk up to them, returning from berry picking.]
Mara: I see you guys had a very fun time.
Razz: Ah I'm so glad we have more visitors! *she gives Bow and Glimmer a hug*
Adora: Hey guys, how was berry picking?
Mara: It was good, here are the extras that you wanted for you and your friends.
Razz: *handing each of the BFS their own bags* Here you go dearies! Razz is going to head inside to start the pie. *she goes into her house*
Mara: I'll be there in a bit Razz!
[Razz gives her a thumbs up from inside and starts to grab things, which causes some clutter noise but nothing too loud or distracting. Mara sits on the blanket and faces the three friends.]
Mara: So, have you come up with a plan of what you're going to do?
Adora: Yes, I'll be moving back into Brightmoon and Glimmer will call a meeting of the Alliance to see who will grab my stuff and Bow will be dropping off the letter.
Glimmer: I'll also be casting protection spells with dad and Aunt Castaspella around Adora and the castle to make sure Catra can't do anything.
Mara: Wow, that is a very good and clear plan. I'll be watching around the woods to see if Catra tries anything.
Bow: Now Adora, you said you would show us the letter, are you ok with showing it now?
Adora: Yeah I can show it now.
[Adora hands the letter to Bow and Glimmer to let them read it. As they do, their faces go into shock then anger and then sadness over what their friend has went through. They hand the letter back and hug Adora.]
Glimmer: We're so sorry you had to go through that. I promise, she won't hurt you ever again.
Bow: We're going to help you through this Adora.
Adora *hugging her friends back* Thank you guys, I'm glad we are friends. Best friend squad forever?
Bow and Glimmer: Best friend squad forever.
[They release from the hug and drink water.]
Mara: Aww that was sweet. Now Adora, when do you want to move into Brightmoon?
Adora: *setting her glass down* I want to start sleeping there today. I know we can't get my stuff in and set up today but I want to be home immediately.
Glimmer: Of course Adora, we can do that now.
Bow: We can hold the meeting tomorrow morning, how does that sound?
Adora: That sounds perfect. I'm ready to go now.
Mara: Alright, I'll see you next week Adora. Stay safe everyone!
[Adora picks up her pencil, papers, notebook, flowers and the letter as Bow and Glimmer help Mara clean up the rest. Razz comes outside and kisses the BFS on the cheeks.]
Razz: Goodbye dearies, please come back soon!
Mara: Goodbye guys, keep me updated on how everything goes!
Adora: Bye guys, thanks again for your help!
Bow: Bye everyone, we'll be back soon!
Glimmer: Bye you two, I promise to keep you in the loop about how everything goes!
[They all wave goodbye to each other and Mara and Razz go inside to make their pie. Glimmer, Adora, and Bow link each others arms together.]
Glimmer: Ready to go home, Adora?
Adora: Of course I am, let's go.
Bow: Let's do this!
[Glimmer teleports the BFS away and takes them home to Brightmoon, where they belong.]

[Adora sits in her room, on the window seat that outlooks the Whispering Woods and the three moons of Etheria. She has been writing for some time, continuing what she was working on earlier that day, transferring it to the new notebook and cleaning up some mistakes. Outside, the daylight is fading away and the night sky and stars are starting to show up. Inside, she has the standard Brightmoon room, except for the bed, which is a rectangular and soft yet firm mattress. The last time she had the standard Brightmoon water bed, she kinda exploded it and feathers were everywhere for days. She hears knocking on the door and pauses her writing, putting her bookmark into place in her new notebook. She makes her way to the door and opens it to see Frosta. Glimmer decided to invite all of the Alliance over for a sleepover to make it easier to call a meeting the next morning.]
Frosta: Hey, dinner's ready. You coming down?
Adora: Yes, let's go together.
Frosta: Ok, cool!
[Adora smiles and walks out her room and makes her way to the dining room with Frosta.]
Frosta: So... What's going on? Why is everyone spending the night?
Adora: We're calling a meeting of the Alliance tomorrow morning and Glimmer thought it'd be easier to have everyone here the night before, just to make everything run smoothly.
Frosta: A meeting? What's going on? Is there a threat? Does Frostbite need to come back?
Adora: Hahahaha no, no threat. I promise, you'll find out in the meeting. For now, let's go eat and have fun.
Frosta: Aw man, I was so prepared. But fineee, let's go.
[ The rest of the night is filled with friendship, love, and warmth. Hordak and Mermista are going over final touches for Salineas. Hordak had to rebuild the entire kingdom as punishment for what he did. Scorpia and Entrapta are in charge of repainting and decorate everything for their crimes in the Horde. Entrapta and Scorpia were playing with Emily while Perfuma and Frosta were coming up with what they would wear to the next Princess Prom after Glimmer decided to have it every year instead of every ten years. Bow, Spinnerella, and Nettossa were talking about Princess Prom themes and decorations while Glimmer, Micha, and Castaspella were going over spells and magic. Adora is sitting quietly during dinner, writing down everyone's feelings and emotions. She also writes about how she feels loved, calm, and warm now that she's back with her friends in her true home. Once bedtime rolls around, Bow and Glimmer spend the night in Adora's room to comfort her and make sure nothing happens to her. For the first time in a while, Adora sleeps peacefully and rests well. In morning, she's ready for what comes next.]
