vacation turned in to something
when they arrived at mia's grandma's house they were welcomed by everyone.
"It's good to see the both of you!" mia's grandma said.
"it's good to see you too grandma, i miss you." steve said hug her.
"grandma i miss you so much, I'm sorry we couldn't visit you often you know we're busy with our lives there hehehe." mia said while holding both of her grandma's hand.
" oh don't worry mia it's okay i understand the life you both have there in the city."
"we brought so many gifts for you lola and for the others!" steve said and took out all of the gifts and gave it to everyone.
"wow thank you so much for this!"
"wow thanks captain!"
"thanks uncle steve!"
everyone liked the gift so it made the couple so happy. while they were eating laye, her aunt, ask something.
"so what did you two think and come back here?"
she asked and the two receive it as a rude question.
"uhm because i miss my family and I want to relax here for a while."mia calmly said because this aunt of her has been a beef with everyone, even mia.
"but there are lots of places in the city that you could find to relax, so why here?" she asked again.
"laye, stop it." their grandma said but that didn't stop laye.
"why? I'm just asking them." leyi reason out. she's about to say something when steve talk.
"my mia just wanted to visit her family, is there something wrong with that?" steve calmly said but mia saw him gripping too tight on the spoon so she holds his hands to calm him.
because he knows that her aunt does not like her, and he don't know why. neither mia doesn't know.
"okay fine, enjoy your stay 'here'." laye said and left the table.
"I'm sorry about her. just eat my children, okay?"mia's grandma said and everyone continue eating.
after that scene in the dining room, mia immediately went to their room to get ready to sleep.
when she's about to pass her aunt's room, she heard someone's arguing.
"i told you to be kind to her even just for once! can't you understand that?"
"well I already told you many times that I don't want mom!"
mia realized that it's her grandma and aunt jean that is arguing. she knows that they're talking about her.
"its been 5 years mom! why can't you just tell her the truth that you just fo--"
"hey darling why are you standing there?"
she didn't hear what her aunt said next because steve called her.
"oh nothing. let's go to our room?" mia said and guide steve to their room.
'are they hiding something from me?'
mia said in her mind.

the next morning, steve has to go to the S.H.I.E.L.D'S compound because of their important mission.
"I'm really sorry darling, promise I'll make it up to you." steve apologize for the nth time. mia just hold his hands and kiss it.
"i told you stevie its okay, i understand your job. I'm fine here, besides I'm with my family." mia said then hug him, steve hug her tightly.
"don't worry about her captain, we'll take care of her while you're away." mia's grandma said and taps steve's shoulder.
"yeah grandma's right. you should go now, fury's waiting for you." mia said and look at the quinjet that is parked in front of the house.
"I'm really sorry to ruin your vacation ms. mia but we really need him for this mission." fury said over the speaker.
"oh its alright!" mia shouted so he can hear it.
"now go, stevie. the avengers are waiting for you." mia said and kiss him, steve respond to her kisses. mia was the one who let go the kiss so he can go now.
"I'll miss you darling."
"me too stevie."
when steve left, mia just lend his time with her younger cousin. keeping herself busy so she can't think that she miss her boyfriend.
the other families decided to go to the beach near their house and mia went with them. trying to enjoy herself, but she knew that she'd gonna enjoy it with steve.
so she decided to walk around the shore alone. while walking she didn't realized that its already dark, the sun has down. so she just sit there and let the cold breeze embrace her.
"i miss you steve."
while she was enjoying the beautiful view, she noticed that there's someone behind her. when she looked at her back.
she saw a man standing a few meters a way.
"took you long enough to notice me here." the man said then walk slowly towards mia.
"who are you?" mia asked but the man just smirk.
"did your memories already come back?" the man asked that made mia confused.
"what memories?"
"seems like it's not yet back. you know that I'm impatient"
"what the heck are you saying? I don't even know you. get lost dude." mia said and ignore the man.
"so now I'm gonna force you," the man said and hold mia's nape. mia saw that the man's arm is metal and his grip on her nape is getting tight so she panic.
"what the fuck are you doing?! get off of me- aaghh!!"mia said while wincing in pain.
the man kept hold on to mia's nape until mia stop shouting and falls to the ground.
the man check mia if she's unconscious or not. he's about to touch mia's arm when mia immediately holds his arm and flip him. she then grab his metal arm and disassembled it fast, while the other arm is getting pinned down.
the man was surprised at mia, while mia was so confused how she did it.
"h-how did i?"
"don't you remember? you're the only one who can do that, fast." the man said and smirk at her. mia got annoyed by that so she hold his neck tighten her grip too.
"what the fuck do you want from me?!"mia asked but then she realized she's choking him so she loosen her grip a bit.
"i just want you to remember everything"
"and?"
"and take back what's mine"
"i do not belong to anyone."
"even to your boyfriend? steve rogers?" the man said then laugh so mia choke him once again.
"how do you know him?"
"see i-it fo-r you-rself!"the man said while struggling to speak.
mia was confused for a while so the man took that as a advantage and punch mia in the face that made her unconscious.
"i don't wanna do this but I need to now." the man said while connecting his metal arm. he took a usb type of injection from his pocket and inject it in mia's nape.
"please come back to us, you don't belong here."
