"mia? wake up!"
"oh my, what happened?" mia asked and look around to see that its already dark and she's still at the sea shore.
"i should be the one asking you that, what happened to you? why are you sleeping here?" leyi asked, mia's cousin, while covering mia with a towel. mia was trying to remember what happened but all she know is she remembered something.
"i was tired earlier so i took a walk here but my feet got cramps so i relax here for a while then I slept hehehe." mia said trying to make leyi believe her.
because she remembered what that man with a metal arm did to her. and she doesn't want to worry her cousin.
"really? for 5 hours?!"
"what? Its been 5 hours since I slept?!" mia asked and leyi nodded.
"yes and everyone's worried! and captain america been asking what are you doing so we keep telling him you're just sleeping in your room." leyi said while helping mia to stand up.
"oh shit I should call him now."
"no, let's go to grandma first so she can see that your safe."
"no need, I need to call stevie now." mia said and about to go to other direction when someone talk behind them.
"hey you stop"
"glad you're here mom, help me bring her to grandma." leyi said to her mom.
"I'll handle her, go now your father is finding you." laye said and leyi just nod and leave mia with laye.
"since that granny doesn't want to tell you your secret, I'm just gonna do it." laye said then laugh. mia was just looking at her and waiting for her to continue what she's saying.
"you know, you're not really our family. you're not really my niece, you're not really a granddaughter of that granny." she was surprised by what her aunt said but she seemed to have expected it and she didn't know why.
"5 years ago, we just found you exactly we're leyi saw you sleeping. you were covered in bruises and a lot of wounds and of course that granny helped you. she was the one who treated you because she was once a neurologist. and she discovered too that you have an amnesia. we literally didn't know you so that granny kept you as a secret until you woke up and let you believe that you're her grandchild and even gave you a name, mia."
mia couldn't believe what she heard and found out.
"is that fucking true?!" she asked while crying and laye just nod while smiling. Laye likes what she's seeing right now.
"yes! don't you notice why you don't have a parent, why you don't have a single picture when you were young, why you don't remember anything about your past?"
Laye shouted and shake mia's shoulder. mia was just crying and doesn't care even if her aunt is shaking her.
"I was so mad, even until now, because why the fuck that granny should help you, right? and you know what she said? 'I just want to help her because she looks kind' what a fucking reason is that?!"
laye step back and wipe the tear that roll on her face.
"you know why you're mad? it because you're jealous, you're jealous because you want your mom to be the only one helping you. you just want your mom's attention to be on you. am i right?" mia said that made laye scoffed.
"what the fuck did you say?!"
"oh you thought I didn't know you're rumor spreading around here?" mia said while smirking.
"that rumor is not true!"
"oh don't worry, you just proved it to me just now." mia said and now its her turn to laugh.
"you know i don't feel hurt knowing the truth right now and I don't know why is that, but I feel angry right now at you." mia confidently said that made laye confused.
"huh? what do you mean?"
"i don't know, I'm just mad at you hahaha."
Laye just got scared at mia because she feel that its a different mia that is standing in front of her.
"you fucking disgust me. I don't know why grandma is still keeping you even though your crazy."
"I'm not crazy!"
"yes you are! good thing leyi didn't inherit your craziness." mia said and left her shouting there.
she immediately look for her grandma and apologize for making them worry. after that she went to her room and called steve.
"hey stevie how are you?"
["hi darling, finally you wake up! are you really that tired to sleep for 5 hours?"]
"yes we did a lot of fun stuffs with my little cousins and we also swim at the beach that made me so tired earlier."
["oh make sense huh, have you eaten already?"]
"uhm yeah. how about you?"
["we ate at clint's house."]
the two talk for a while but mia didn't say anything about what happened with the man and with her aunt because she doesn't want steve to worry.
"uhm stevie?"
["yes my darling?"]
"can you pick me up tomorrow? and continue our vacation somewhere else?"
["hm why?"]
"i just don't feel comfortable here, with my aunt around." mia said while smirking. it's just a call so steve won't see her face.
["why? what did she do to you?"]
"nothing, but she became worse more than before."
["i knew something like that would happen. I'm sorry darling for leaving you. I'm gonna pick you up tomorrow okay?"]
"okay. you should sleep now stevie it's getting late now."
[what about you?"]
"i just had a 5 hours of sleep, so maybe I should read something to make myself sleep hehe."
["okay just don't stay up so late. goodnight darling i love you."]
"goodnight my captain stevie, i love you too." she said then hang up.
after their call, mia took her laptop and did some research about her past.
she can only remember how did she got here, in this family. but before that only a fragments of memories only she can see.
after searching for a while, she can't find anything that made her frustrated.
"please mia think, remember your past." mia said to herself. when she was about to stand, she felt dizzy and felt something poking her nape.

after mia hear those voices from her head she was shocked because it was her talking to someone.
"what the fuck is that?"
"and brami? who's that?"
mia relax for a while then ran downstairs to get some coffee to calm herself.
"i need to know everything"

the next morning, steve arrived to fetch mia. steve told everyone that they want to go somewhere else and mia's grandma allowed them.
as steve promise, he brought mia to beautiful places, and mia loved it.
while they're walking around in the park, steve suddenly stops walking and mia asked him.
"why'd you stop?"
"I've got something for you." steve said and took something from his pocket. when mia saw it she was shocked.
"i bought this yesterday, i immediately think this looks good on you." steve said and put the necklace on mia's neck.
"thank you stevie, i love it."mia said then kiss steve.
"Im glad you love it, i even ask nat and wanda if youre gonna love it and we're right."
"well you just have to have confidence in yourself."mia said and steve nod and kiss her again.
"i love you my darling."
"i love you too stevie"
they were about kiss again when steve's phone rings.
*tony stank calling*
"really you save tony stank as his contact name? hahaha" mia said and can't help but to laugh.
"just don't tell him, okay? I should answer this."
"okay take your time."
"hey what do you need?"
["oh i apologize i ruined your lovely date but I have to tell you something."]
"what is it?"
["its hydra. they're on a move."]
"hydra? what? I thought they'd gone."
["you idiot of course not. just get your ass here so we can have a meeting"]
"okay, I'm bringing mia is it okay?"
["you always bring her so what's the point of asking capsicle?"]
"okay whatever."
right after the call, the two immediately go to avengers compound. when they arrived everybody was already there seated.
"uhm i guess i should not join here so yeah I'm just go to kitchen bye!"mia immediately excused herself because she knows that their meeting is important and she have nothing to do with it.
while walking towards the kitchen, her nape suddenly hurt so she stopped walking and held her nape.
"hey are you okay?" mia looks at the person who talk and she saw nat, but when she looked at nat's eye she remembered something.
she saw that they are fighting and nat looks really mad. mia tried to look at herself in that memory but she can't see herself.
"mia? are you okay? answer me!"
"stay away from me!" mia suddenly shout and push nat really hard. mia just realized what she just realized.
"i- oh my gosh I'm sorry I didn't mean it." mia said and cried like a baby. nat stood up and approached the crying mia and hugged her.
"its okay mia, I'm fine."
nat said and was confused why mia was acting like that all of sudden.
"what's wrong with you? can you tell me?" nat asked mia
"I'm sorry, it's just that I saw something."
"what is it?"
"i can't tell you."
"its okay I'm not forcing you."
nat said and hug mia again.
if you're going to ask mia who's she more comfortable to be with, with all of the avengers? she will probably say natasha romanof.
mia and nat are inseparable since they met through steve. they just clicked like all of their favorites are the same and every problem that mia had, nat knew it and sometimes she's the one helping her go through it.
"nice necklace huh." nat pointed out, mia touch it and smiled.
"stevie gave me this earlier, and I freaking love it." mia said and they both smiled.
"it looks good on you."
"really? thanks."
"it's a bit loose, can you fix it nat?" mia asked and nat nod.
mia gently place her hair on her right shoulder and nat went to mia's back. she was about to hold the necklace when she something.
"wow i didn't know you have a tattoo on your nape, when did you get this? did steve allowed you to get one?" nat asked mia and stared at the tattoo.
"what tattoo? I don't have a tattoo!" mia immediately said that made nat confused.
"what? this is clearly a tattoo mia, it lies on your skin and by the look of this? you got this a long time ago."
"what are you saying?? I don't remember getting a tattoo." mia said and touch her nape.
"how come you don't know you have a tattoo?" nat asked mia touch her nape too.
'oh it looks familiar' nat says on her mind.
"i don't even know what it looks like. can you tell me what it looks like?"
"it's an skull with a 6 tentacles. where did you get this design huh?" nat asked mia like she's joking but deep inside she feels something's wrong.
"i told you nat I don't know." mia said frustrated.
nat was going to ask mia more about her tattoo but tony was paging her.
"I'm gonna go now." nat said and left.
right after nat left, mia's nape sting like something is poking it.
"ugh shit!"

"why are you looking for me?" nat asked as soon as she entered the room.
"we need you here, there's still something we need to discuss." tony said and nat just nodded.
while they're were talking nat found a 'folder' on the top of other papers.
she went through it and saw something.
"romanof, are you with us?" steve asked but nat ignored him and raised the folder.
"does any of you guys knows this?"
nat asked pointing the skull with a 6 tentacles like the one that was on mia's nape.
'please tell me I'm wrong' nat says on to her mind.
"its a logo." tony answered.
"what logo is this?" nat asks again
"its a hydra logo. every member of hydra wears a pin in their clothes of that and if you have a higher position you have to tattooed it in your nape." steve said and made nat shocked.
