When Thor came back up later in the evening, he set Loki's dinner down on the bedside table. Hanging out with his friends had been really enjoyable after the long time they didn't meet up. After they'd finished eating, Banner hadn't stayed for long, returning to his quarters. Together with Clint and Ironman, he'd been drinking a lot (luckily Asgardians weren't that sensitive when it came to Midgardian alcohol) and somewhen they'd started telling each other tales from their time apart. However, after a few hours, something convinced him to look after Loki. The black-haired boy was hidden beneath the covers and at first sight, Thor didn't see anything. When he pulled the blanket back a little, the first thing he noticed was Loki's delicate smile spread across his lips. By this sight, the prince's heart melted. Since they'd come to know he was pregnant, Loki's nightmares had disappeared nearly completely. While the fear of losing his child kept him panicking and edgy at times, it made him forget about his fear of being alone. Thor was extremely grateful for this, although calming his lover's worries got harder every day, when he was slowly getting nervous himself. He tried his best to keep his thoughts from everyone but he knew that if this kept going for a while, he wouldn't be able to hold his façade.
After kissing Loki's temple, he arose from the bed and changed into the nightdress his friends were always keeping clean in case he appeared. Afterwards, he lay down next to Loki, listening to his even breaths. After a while, he looked up at the glass ceiling through which he could see the moon and the light of the stars. And for the first time in a long while, although he knew nothing was going to be fine soon, Thor felt at peace. Before he drifted off to sleep, his thoughts returned to his home. His actual home. His actual family. And his former friends. Thor knew all too well that, no matter how things would turn out in the future, he'd not be able to repair any of his relationships. Even if Odin hadn't made Loki's and his treason public, no one would forgive him for not returning for so long. And - if Thor knew something - he knew he definitely wouldn't be able to return that soon.

When Asgard's prince awoke the next time, he spotted his love sitting next to him, the plate filled with dinner on his lap and food in his mouth. Thor sat up quickly, greeting him with a wide smile.
Thor: "Everything alright? Are you feeling better?"
Loki nodded, quickly finishing his bite.
Loki: "How long have you been out yesterday?"
Thor: "Well - we had a lot to tell each other, you know. But never mind, it won't happen again. From now on I'll only go with your permission."
Loki: "It's alright, just - what if anything had happened? What if - what if the baby had changed shape while you're away? I'm just - I don't want to lose it."
Thor's gaze filled with understanding and he took both of Loki's hands into his own, kissing him tenderly.
Thor: "Dear, you're in the hands of the best healer Midgard can offer you. Nothing will happen, Loki and if it does - I'll be right beside you. I'll do whatever you want me to, believe me."
Thor kept his voice soft although, deep inside, he knew he was lying. If this child in Loki's body decided to change shape, there was nothing he or Banner could do to help Loki except … but no - Thor couldn't even think of this. It just had to work. And optimistic as he was, Thor forced himself to believe that - somehow - the pregnancy would pass without accidents and they'd both be parents of a healthy baby. Everything else was simply to horrific to think about.
But obviously, Loki wasn't in the state to question Thor's words. At least he relaxed a little, cuddling closer to his ally, who quickly took the plate and put it aside. Then he waited a moment, looking Loki down while calculating.
Thor: "Loki, please - give me a little reminder! What did the healer say again about sex during a pregnancy? Honestly - until now, this should be alright, or?"

Tony(sighing annoyed): "Thor! I'm sick of calling it up to you without reply BUT DINNER IS READY SINCE 30 MINUTES AND YOU'RE STILL NOT HERE. SO EITHER YOU GET YOURSELF DOWN HERE IMMEDIATELY OR I WON'T SPARE ANYTHING FOR YOU OR LOKI! AND NO - I DON'T WANT HIM TO COME ALONG!"
Clint chuckled, eyeing the genius suspiciously.
Clint: "Normally you're not that strict when it comes to eating times, right?"
Tony: "No, but it just fucks me up because I know exactly what they're doing up there. And - honestly - I'm starting to think Reindeer games has bad influence on Pointbreak. Normally he's punctual as hell."
Clint: "But - does shouting through the whole house really improve the whole thing."
Tony looked as if he was thinking for a moment, then he grinned viciously.
Tony: "You're totally right, Legolas. This'll work much easier!"

To say they were having a great time was definitely understated. Loki was literally out of breath and moaning not so quietly, while Thor was gripping him tightly and rather roughly, but still careful to not hurt him or the baby.
Loki: "Thor! Thor - go on! This - this - it feels so good!"
A ragged smile spread across the thunderer's features.
Thor: "You're doing so well, Loki! You're so beautiful!"
Thor got more carelessly as the time passed and it came the time when Loki was nearly screaming in arousal.
Loki: "You're crazy! You're - you're so strong, you're … "
That was when Thor's phone started ringing. At first, Thor simply ignored it. But as the ringing didn't stop, he got furious. Not bothering to leave his position, Thor grabbed it and simply threw it against the wall. Then they continued …
A few hours later when Thor was looking out of the room, he found two plates covered with a pot. Next to it was lying a piece of paper with Tony's handwriting and ... a new phone. When Thor picked the paper up, he read: Tomorrow I wanna see you down again! Good night, Starboy! 😊
Thor smiled to himself. He knew he could always rely on his friends.
