Chapter 24
When Thor heard the words from Loki's lips, he immediately jumped back into action,sitting up in bed, his muscles tense.
Thor: "WHAT?"
Loki: "One of his guards pushed me to the ground. This wasn't an accident!"
Thor jumped up, running over to his closet and hastily pulling out some clothes and carelessly pushing them into a valise.
Loki: "Wh-what are you doing?"
Thor stopped for a moment, looking back to his lover.
Thor: "Loki, we're leaving. As soon as possible. I'll only get a few things ready. I get you as soon as we're ready to leave. You just stay here and don't move anywhere, alright?"
Loki nodded in confusion, wondering where Thor was planning to go while the thunderer already headed for the door.

A few minutes later, Thor was out of the palace and out of Asgard. He knew that whatever they were supposed to do, they had to act quickly to prevent Odin from trying to kill their baby or even Loki once more. His mind was buzzing with panic and the worst thing was, that he didn't really know what to do himself. It was clear Loki would need medical attention throughout the next months and the only man that came to his mind was …
Tony thought his door would collapse. He could already guess who it was only from the intensity of the knocking. When he opened, his suspicion turned out to be true.
Tony: "Look who it is! Where's your lovely bride?"
Thor: "Stark, we need to talk. May I come in?"

Tony: "He's - he's what-?"
A few minutes later and Thor was standing in the middle of the living room, surrounded by all the other avengers, who were staring at him in disbelief.
Tony: "Thor - Loki is a man. Which means that he is male. Which means that he has no womb. Which furthermore means that he CAN'T GET PREGNANT!"
Thor: "It's a little more complicated than you think."
Natasha: "Mhm, of course it is."
Thor: "Loki is a frost giant. As there are only male frost giants, they are able to bare children as well. This is new for us too. We never thought of this option but now - he's pregnant. And - we are in need of your help."
All of the avengers tried to suppress their disgust and confusion, but failed obviously. It was Bruce who found his voice first.
Bruce: "Thor - how should I help you? I have only little idea of pregnancy. It's not my area."
Thor: "I know Banner but in the moment I can't care about this. Loki needs to be under a healer's watch and you are the only one I know who at least knows how to tend to injuries and not spare Loki's energy."
Tony: "Ay wait a second! We're still talking about my house here. How long would you think you'd stay here?"
Thor: "Well - if possible - until the baby's out of him."
Tony(quiet): "Mhm, great."
Tony rolled his eyes.
Tony: "Thor, you know that we're friends and I'd help you in any situation thinkable of. But - letting Loki bare a half frost giant baby in my home is kind of a worrying thought. Do you really have no other place to escape your conflicts?"
Thor: "Not as far as I know."
Tony: "Fine, for God's sake then bring him here. But if he breaks any shit he's going right back to asgard. Clear?"
A huge smile spread over Thor's face as his expression brightened up. He ran towards Stark, nearly crushing him in a hug.
Thor: "I don't know how to thank you, my friend! You don't know how glad I am-"
Tony: "Yeah-yeah okay! Just-let the hell go off me before I change my mind!"
