Chapter 25
When Thor came back to his room, Loki was still lying on the bed, looking completely anxious but alright as far as Thor could see. He stepped over to the bed quickly, dropping to his knees beside it.
Thor: "Everything prepared, my love. We can leave. - If you're ready."
Loki got up hastily, taking Thor's extended hand for support. The prince grabbed their luggage, before pushing Loki out of the door gently.
Loki: "What's about mother? Shall we not say goodbye to her?"
Thor stopped for a moment, thinking about the question.
Thor: " - No. We don't have time. We should leave as quickly and unnoticed as possible."
He kept walking, having one arm put around Loki's waist to keep him from falling out of pace.
Thor: "Where's the next portal to Midgard you know? I think it's safest if we don't use the Bifrost."

When the doorbell went the next time, Tony was already waiting, knowing whom to expect. His assumption got verified as he opened the door. In front of it was standing Thor, one arm wrapped around his new love interest. Tony looked him down quickly, but until now he couldn't make out an obvious change of shape, just as Thor had said.
Tony: "Oh - hi there! Banner's already waiting for ya two."

When they walked in, Banner was already approaching from his lab. Loki watched him, obviously uncertain of what to think of the situation.
Banner: "Ah, good you're already here. I've already prepared everything. - (To Loki) I suggest I check you over briefly. Just to make sure everything's alright with you and your - child."
All of a sudden, Loki's eyes filled with rage, he slung forward and gripped Banner, meanwhile conjuring his knives.
Loki: "If you touch me or my child, I'll kill you! No matter how monstrous you can be!"
Thor: "Loki, stop!"
Thor rushed to Loki's side in an instant, pulling him back and out of the room. Before leaving, he threw Banner an apologetic glance, only shrugging his shoulders as a sign Loki and he had to talk something out. Tony only gave him a nod, his look swaying between amusement and annoyance.
Tony: "Hell! Why did I agree to this?"

Once they were out of the room, Thor stopped abruptly, grabbing Loki's shoulders and staring him down without a word. When attacking Banner a few seconds earlier, Loki was now panting heavily, exhausted by the drain on his already strained magic.
Thor: "Are you crazy? I'm convincing Stark and Banner to allow us staying here, help us with our child and you scare them off at the first encounter possible!"
At first the trickster tried to break free from Thor's hold, but then he collapsed into Thor's arms, sobbing quietly.
Loki: "They're gonna kill it! they all want it dead! If we don't stop them - our baby wil die!"
The prince looked confused.
Thor: "Loki - Banner only wants to help!"
Loki: "he doesn't want to. You're forcing him to. He'll try to kill it like all the others! - Thor, - I'm scared!"
Thor's eyes filled with worry.
Thor: "You don't have to be afraid, dear. Everything will be okay. I won't let him do anything that might possibly harm you or our child. I'll always stay with you, you have my word. Only - please let him help you. You need help and you know that."
The blonde bowed down, putting a gentle kiss to Loki's hair.
Thor: "Just don't worry. We'll figure everything out together. Okay?"
Loki nodded, shortly burying his face in Thor's cape, before looking back up in the other's eyes, shining like the stars.
Loki: "Okay."
