It's Nice To Have A Friend
Noel walked outside, hitting the lock button on his car keys so he could find his car in this massive parking lot. It makes sense why it's so big, although it could be a bit bigger since parking any type of car there sucks. He finally finds his car in the sea of vehicles and unlocks the trunk. He glares at the boxes that are about to make his life so much harder before grabbing all of the remaining boxes in the trunk.
A few minutes of hassling and struggle later, Noel finally makes it up to his dorm. He knocks on the door with his barely available hand, almost dropping a box in the process. About 20-30 seconds pass, and Ricky is greeted by the sight of Noel struggling to keep the boxes he's barely holding in his arms. Ricky immediately grabs a few boxes off the top and grins, as he walked inside the dorm.
"Thank you, these were a pain in the ass to carry up here." Noel mumbled the last part pettily. Ricky just smiled in response. Not being able to communicate verbally is quite the struggle between them, but Noel had decided that he wanted to learn sign language for Ricky, so they could communicate better. And also, because the robot voice admittedly creeped him out a bit.
The pair soon reached Noel's room and Noel had dramatically placed the boxes on the floor. Ricky placed the boxes next to the building pile of tan moving boxes and exited the room to grab his tablet. While he was busy, Noel grabbed a pair of scissors and started opening up boxes. Some had personal items, some had small decor pieces, some had furniture, some even had food as well. He started taking stuff out of boxes and placing stuff into separate piles when Ricky came back in with his tablet.
"Okay, so are we going to be categorizing these and then putting them away?" The robotic voice chimed in. Noel nodded in response.
"Yep, it's just easier that way, at least in my opinion." Noel added. Ricky started tapping away at their tablet, trying to draft a message perfect for noel.
"Ah, okay. Well, let's get started, shall we?" The robotic voice chirped. Noel grinned at Ricky and Ricky couldn't help but smile back. Noel was very lucky that he ended up with a pretty cool roommate.
