3 days later.
"We are approaching drop site. I repeat we are approaching the drop location." The pilot of the SWORD Agent Fighter Jet (often referred to SAF Jet) tells the passengers.
"Alright people! Time for the mission. Everyone know the plan?" Izuku asks the two SWORD Agents standing in front of him.
"Yes sir!" The group answers.
"We'll rendezvous with the other three teams inside the base. Keep your comms on at all times and shoot to kill. Only Overhaul is to be taken alive. Am I understood?" Izuku tells them.
"Sir yes sir!" The two agents exclaim.
"Do you have anything to say?" He asks them.
"No sir!" The first agent answers.
"Thank you for choosing me to work with you sir!" The second agent tells Izuku.
"You're welcome but don't expect flattery to get you anywhere with me." Izuku warns the man.
"I wasn't trying to sir." The agent replies. "Just my honest opinion."
"Good to hear." Izuku tells the two of them as the bay door open.
"Jump point in t-minus 30 seconds. We are at an altitude of 75,000 meters above sea level." The pilot informs them.
"Time to jump boys!" Izuku exclaims as he jumps out of the jet.
"Did the major have a parachute?" The second agent asks the pilot.
"He'll be fine. He didn't become the leader of one of the strongest team in SWORD just like that." The pilot says. "Now jump or you'll miss the point." The two agents look at each other and nod as they leap off the ship together.
"God save the person that these people will fight." The pilot sighs as he closes the bay door. "This is Halo Delta TFW,g oing for HQ." The pilot says on his comms. "The package one has been delivered. I repeat, the package one has been delivered. Over."
"Copy that Halo Delta TFW. Continue with the mission. Over." The agent on the HQ comms answers.
"Yes sir. Over." The pilot says as he shifts the engines from their cruise mode to the supersonic engines and flies higher into the atmosphere.
With Izuku. He was free falling through the air with his feet aimed at the earth and his metal shield being currently used to reduce drag. He checks his altimeter at regular intervals as he falls.
Izuku holds his holo-shield up once he reached low enough, creating a makeshift parachute that slows his descent allowing him to land on the roof of a building near the drop location of the Shie Hassaikai hideout.
"This is Dragon, reporting from position A1. No suspicious activity seen." Izuku speaks into his comms.
"Phoenix logging in, no suspicious activity near point D1." He hears Fumi's voice.
"Turtle reporting in from point C1, nothing here." Denki says. "No activity in a 200-meter radius."
"Tiger here, no activity from point B1 either." Ochako responds.
"Tiger, move in. Turtle, stay behind at Point C2, have the agents with you stationed at C1 and C2 as well. Watch our flanks." Izuku orders.
"Roger that." Denki and Ochako responds.
Turning off his comms, Izuku turns to the agents. "Both of you with me, stay nearby and watch my flanks. Rest of you, watch the perimeter."
"Roger that." The two agents respond as the group moves to the next point.
"Uhhhh...... Dragon, we've got an issue." Izuku hears Ochako's voice.
"What happened?" Izuku responds.
"They were expecting us I think, there are at least 50 men under my location." Ochako tells him.
"Can you handle it?"
"Not without alerting the rest."
"Turtle, change of plans. I need you to switch places with Tiger." Izuku orders. "Take out the group there and return to Point C once you're done."
"Roger that." Denki answers as he flashes away from his location.
"Where did the Major go?" One of the newer soldiers under Denki's command asks the others.
"Hold tight, he'll be back. Activate your thermal scopes. We're about to see a member of the Omega Squad in action." One of the older agents says with a smile.
A bright yellow flash was seen on the thermal scopes as Denki appeared at Ochako's position. The two spoke for a bit before Denki disappeared into a flash once again heading into hideout.
Once in the Underground hideout, he quickly knocks out all the goons, jumping from one goon to the other and knocking them out with a small jolt of electricity to daze them, followed by a chop to the neck.
The agents watch in awe as Denki re-appeared on the surface.
"Good work Turtle, return to your position. Tiger, move in. We're right behind you." Izuku orders, as both groups enter the hideout.
The yakuza in the hideout immediately start to scramble, grabbing their weapons to attack the groups but get shot down by the group.
"We're looking for the 8 precepts of death. They won't play around. Shoot to kill. Am I understood?" Izuku orders the soldiers.
"Sir. Yes sir." They answer.
"Split into groups. Tiger, lead the way. I'll watch our back. Tiger's team, watch the left flank, you two," He turns to the soldiers that came with him. "You're watching our right flank."
"Yes sir." The soldiers answer as they get into formation.
"Left." Ochako announces, leading the group through the tunnel system. "Now right."
"Why is Major Uraraka announcing the turns? Won't that alert the enemy?" One of the soldiers that came with Izuku whispers to the other.
"It's to ensure that the quarterbacks at the base hear our positions. Deep underground, our positioning systems tend to get a little mistaken, so she's announcing the turns we're taking so they can map the base for when we need back up." The soldier answers. "Plus, it keeps Major Tokoyami and Kaminari updated as well."
"Will you two shut up?" Izuku says, glaring at them.
"Sorry sir." They apologise.
"I don't want you to be sorry, just complete the mission and stay alive. I don't like to lose my agents." Izuku tells them as he turns back to watching their backs.
"Yes sir!" The group answers as they continue to move through the labyrinth. The group enters the maze-like base, their weapons at the ready.
"Hold." Ochako orders as the group stops.
"What is it?" Izuku asks her.
"Hostiles. At least 15. Straight ahead." She informs him. "What's the strategy?"
"Everyone take cover. We're going to give them an Omega Squad welcome." Izuku answers as Ochako grins. "Turtle, Phoenix, brace for explosions." He warns them.
"Got it." Fumi and Denki respond.
"Everyone, deactivate your thermals. Switch to regular vision." Denki warns his team of snipers.
"Yes sir." They answer as they switch their visuals to normal vision.
"Sniper squad ready." Denki tells them.
"Tiger. Blow'em." Izuku says.
"Let's leave that phrase is for the bedroom, shall we?" Ochako teases. "But here we go. Bombs away!" Ochako places her hand on the wall in front of her with Izuku providing her with additional energy by giving her some of his energy to use.
The wall glows pink with the pink glow becoming brighter and brighter by the second.
"And boom." Denki says on the comms as a massive explosion occurs.
"MOVE IN!" Izuku shouts as the small group of soldiers rushes in, shooting the dazed individuals with tranquilizer bullets to knock them out.
"Overhaul isn't in the room. There's one signature that's about three levels below you. But there seems to be a lot of security down there. Like mechanical security. The energy levels are similar to those that I've seen in the LMDs." Denki warns them.
"There are LMDs here?" Izuku mutters. "Everyone, converge on our location. We're going in together. Snipers, stay put and track our movements from your locations. Rest of you, you've got two minutes. Get here."
Izuku hears a chorus of 'Yes sir' just as Denki thunders down next to them, electricity bouncing off him stood up. Fumi appeared from the shadows not long after Denki, walking out into the light while Dark Shadow retreated into him.
Denki's team stayed at their locations, following the main group with their sniper scopes while Fumi's team landed next to the group a minute or so after Fumi appeared.
"Alright, what's the plan Dragon?" Fumi asks Izuku.
"Tiger's going to take us down there. Turtle, you'll be heading out ahead with Phoenix. Take out as many LMDs as you can. Once the rest of us are down, you guys join Phoenix and Turtle in taking out the LMDs. Tiger, you and I will find the targets." Izuku tells them.
"We can help you find the Target sir." One of the bolder soldiers of the group suggests.
"No, you're not Captain. This isn't your run-of-the-mill villain organisation that you face. They're currently the third most dangerous organisation after the Kai-Ohs and the League. I'd like to minimise losing my soldiers. Besides, you'll be ammo for Overhaul and you'll force us to hold back. Stick to what you've been told and we'll all make it out alive." Izuku tells the man. "Everyone in position."
"We're going to talk about this later." Ochako tells him as she places her palm against the floor and causes the rocks under them to explode. The floor caves in, dropping them into a room full of LMDs and the Eight Precepts of Death.
"OPEN FIRE!" Izuku orders as he activates his shield and tosses it at a group of LMDs, cutting them in half, and clearing a path for himself and Ochako. The rest of the groups starts attacking the LMDs before the Eight Precepts could get their bearings and order the LMDs to counter.
"Rappa! Take them out!" One of the Precepts yells as a massive man dashes towards Izuku and Ochako, tackling the two of them through a wall and into a room.
"You're fighting with me!!!" He yells as Izuku and Ochako are launched into the wall of the room.
"Tiger, locate the target. I'll keep this idiot busy." Izuku orders. "You want to fight hand-to-hand right?" Izuku asks the man, taking off his ammo vest and helmet.
"Finally someone that understands a fighter's mindset," Rappa exclaims as he clenches and unclenches his fists repeatedly.
"A fighter's mindset huh... Show me what you mean?" Izuku tells him as he takes a deep breath and closes his eyes, focusing his mind as his body began to produce some steam. "Ashura... The Base." His sclera turns black as his veins popped out of his body.
"ASHURA!!!!!!" Rappa exclaims. "I haven't seen that in ages!!! You're that young kid that reigns supreme in the Underground aren't you!"
"I... I don't think I remember you. But care for a challenge? Standard rules from the Underground apply." Izuku offers.
"What are the stakes?"
"If I win, you leave us alone and don't pursue us. If you win, we all leave. You have my word as the leader of this group." Izuku suggests.
"No external interferences."
"You won't have any from my side." Izuku says. "Tiger, stay out of this. That's an order."
"You are so getting a lecture from me after this Dragon." Ochako says as she moves to one corner of the room.
"Then consider it to be my word that we won't interfere with our battle Tengai." Rappa answers as he looks at a thin man standing behind him.
"I make no such promises." The man, Tengai Hekiji, a member of the 8 Percepts of Death, tells him.
"I don't care. If you interfere, I'll pummel you to the ground myself." Rappa threatens him. "Let's go!" He yells at Izuku.
Rappa charges at Izuku as the boy steps to the side, dodging the punch. Rappa responds by swivelling his hand at Izuku, forcing Izuku to block from the proximity. Izuku skids back a few feet as Rappa turns to face him once again.
"You're good." Rappa yells.
"You're strong too." Izuku says as he shakes his arms and gets ready. Taking the charge this time, Izuku rushes at Rappa, sliding under his kick, Izuku kicks the back of Rappa's knee, causing the larger man to fall.
Not waiting for a second, Izuku unleashes a barrage of punches on Rappa, almost knocking him out when a yellow shield appears over the larger man, protecting him from Izuku's blows.
Izuku turns to the man responsible for the shield, staring at him. "You dare interfere in an Underground fight?" He asks the man, sending shivers down the man's spine.
"Yo-you forget that... that this isn't the underground," Tengai responds, faltering under Izuku's stare.
"Well, if that's the case, then consider this a lesson on what happens when you interfere with an Underground match." Izuku tells him as he disappears from Tengai's line of sight. In a hurry, he creates a shield around him to protect him from any possible blows. Punches start raining down on him from all sides, with the shield blocking all of them from the attacks.
"That shield is strong." He hears Izuku's voice tell him.
Tengai was confused when suddenly the punches stopped. Unsure of what was happening, Tengai kept the barrier up. Tengai watches as Izuku reappears in front of him. "I'm not scared of you Soldier!" Tengai yells at Izuku from inside the barrier. "My Barrier can shield me from anything!"
"Let's put that claim to test shall we Tiger?" Izuku tells Ochako as the girl dashes towards Tengai. Her hands wide open as they touch the barrier.
"What's the barrier made up of anyway?" Ochako asks Tengai as his shield starts to glow pink all of a sudden.
"What are you doing?" Tengai asks the girl, worry lacing his voice.
"Just a little experiment." Ochako tells him as she leaps away from him. "You said this shield can protect you from everything right? What happens if the shield were to implode on itself?" Ochako asks him as pink cracks start to form on the shield.
"What are you doing? How are you doing this?" Tengai yells, unable to dispel the barrier.
"Well, at least we now know that you can overcharge shields. That's an important thing to know." Izuku tells Ochako as he turns back to normal.
The Shield implodes on itself, causing a small explosion. The backlash from the quirk and the explosion knocked Tengai out.
"Well, looks like we're continuing down to the lower levels. Lead the way, Tiger." Izuku tells Ochako as Ochako leads Izuku through the maze-like hideout, going deeper and deeper underground.
"You know, if we weren't on a mission, I'd really love to sit and study the rocks here. There are some really unique rocks in here." Ochako comments as she walks down the hall.
"Is that what you'd really be doing though?" Izuku teases her.
"Tease me all you want. We both know it's just teasing. You're never going to act on it." Ochako tells him, still focused on the path. She stops mid-step and places her hand on the wall next to her. "Three bogeys. Behind this wall. There's a room right behind this wall. Should we engage?"
"We don't have time right now. And if those two were any indication, these three will also be members of the 8 bullets. Are there any other rooms here?"
"There's one larger room down there. I think that one connects to other places in the hideout." Ochako answers. "I think we shouldn't engage with enemies unnecessarily. I'll leave a mark for Turtle and Phoenix. They can handle it when the come down here."
"You that, I'll cover you." Izuku says as Ochako collects energy on her fingers and carves a radar cross-section with two dots on the wall that separated them from the enemies. [For those that want to imagine what she made, it's three concentric circles of increasing radius with three dots between the outermost and middle circles]
"Let's go." Ochako says as she wipes the dirt off her finger and leads Izuku towards the room ahead. "This wall right here."
"You need a break? We've got some time to spare." Izuku tells her, noticing her panting from overusing her power.
"We don't have time right now. You know that Iz- Dragon. There's a life at stake if what Tenko said holds up to be any good." Ochako tells him, as she charges energy through her hands to the walls.
"At least use some of mine?" Izuku offers, holding out his hand, waiting for Ochako to answer.
"You need your energy to activate Ashura. You know what happened the last time you activated Ashura with a low energy reserve." Ochako tells him, pink lines slowly forming on the wall in front of them.
'The energy flow is slower than before.' Izuku mentally notes. "You're using my energy. That's an order as your superior on this mission Tiger." Izuku tells her as he places his hand on her shoulder. The energy lines start to spread faster, covering the entire wall in a few seconds. The wall explodes into the room on the other side, serving as a smokescreen for Izuku and Ochako to storm it.
"Three bogeys, escaping from the northern exit. They've got a girl. One of them is carrying her." Ochako informs Izuku. "Go get them! I'll handle things here and join you." Ochako yells as she puts her gun away and grabs a boulder from the debris and tosses it at the enemy. The rocks explode on impact, knocking the henchmen out.
"Stay safe Tiger." Izuku tells her as he dashes away in the direction Ochako had shown.
Izuku follows the trio as they run deeper into the base, occasionally dodging bullets. When the group finally entered a large hall-like area with a high ceiling, they finally stopped running.
"Why are you here? WHO are you!" Izuku hears Overhaul yell at him.
"We are the peacekeepers. We are the ones that protect people when the heroes are busy taking down villains." Izuku answers. "We are the ones that keep the Underground in check. We are SWORD."
"So that pesky brat did backstab us." One of the henchmen, a short man with a plague mask, mutters.
"If you're talking about Tenko, then yes. He was the one that told us about your little experiments. Now, if you would be so kind as to cooperate with me here. Let go of the girl, move all the way back there with your hands where I can see them. If you don't comply, trust me, I will make life hard for you." Izuku warns them.
"You... you dare threaten the Shei Hassaikai!" The second henchman yells as he aims his gun at Izuku.
"Wrong answer." Izuku says as he headshots the henchmen, killing him instantly.
"Chrono!" Overhaul yells as the man falls dead next to him.
"Two more tries. Give up and surrender or die." Izuku bluntly tells them.
"Sir, I think it's time for you to kill him." Mimic tells him.
Izuku tries to shoot them but his bullets are blocked as Overhaul uses his quirk to get them in the air. The stone structure rises in front of Izuku as he watched the two villains rise into the air with the girl.
"Just great." Izuku thinks to himself as he holsters his gun and activates Ashura once again
