Bugged Pt 1

"Scott?"

Scott looks up from the book that he was reading. He was in his apartment alone and didn't want anyone around.

"Scott?"

He sighed as he finally gave up and looks to see Hope. "What are you doing here, Hope?" Scott asked.

"I just wanted to see how you were doing," Hope explained, "since dad and mom got back together."

"Did Hank asked you to come here?" Scott asked unhappily.

"No, I came here on my own," Hope said.

"Thanks, but you see that I'm doing fine. I'm going to visit Cassie this weekend," Scott said.

"You aren't fine, Scott. I saw you crying in your sleep," Hope said.

"'Saw me'" Scott asked blinking, "how did...? No, wait. You used the suit, didn't you?"

"Yep, when was the last time you saw dad?" Hope asked.

"When he told me he gotten a apartment for me," Scott explained.

(Flashback)

"Scott?"

There was no answer from the man who was packing his things in suitcases and boxes.

"Baby?"

"You don't have the privilege to call me that anymore, Hank," Scott said without turning to look at him.

"She's my wife, Scott. She was down at the Quantum Realm for thirty years," Hank said.

"I know and that's why I'm packing. I don't want to intrude on your happy reunion," Scott said.

"Where will you be staying?"

Scott shrugged. "Either with Luis or with Cassie for a few days or so," he said.

"I got you an apartment," Hank said.

Scott turned around to face him. "When did you got me an apartment?" He asked.

"Just now," Hank said, "it's move-in ready and at the heart of downtown San Fran. You don't have to pay rent at all," he explained.

"Is this your way of apologizing to me? The last act of being my daddy?" Scott asked.

"In a way, yes," Hank said.

"Well, I don't want it," Scott said huffing turning around again, "I don't need your charity. I can be fine on my own."

"Please Scott? Do this for me?" Hank asked as he didn't want Scott to have financial trouble.

Scott sighed as he knows Hank was just looking out for him. "Fine," he muttered making Hank smile.

-----------

Once Hope left, Scott was feeling much better. He wished he had his house before but he had moved in with Hank and sold his old home.

The apartment was big enough for one person as it was a loft style. Hank went all his way to just get this for him.

Scott decided to call Luis as he knows that the man was off today.

"Hey man, do you want to come over?" Scott asked once Luis answered the phone.

"Sure! What's your address so that Michael and I could come over?" Luis asked.

Scott swore silently as he was hoping he can talk to Luis alone and forgotten about Michael. "Here's the address," he said giving it to Luis.

It was quiet for a moment until Luis said: "be there in an hour. Michael is just finishing up something."

There was a moaning noise in the background making Scott have a cringing look on his face.

"Take you're time," he said and hanged up quickly before the other said anything.

"Do you know how much I envy you?" Luis asked getting a slice of pizza.

"Is it because of my apartment?" Scott asked bringing beers to the living room.

"Yes! Your apartment is so fucking big! Our apartment is half the size of this!" Luis exclaimed looking around.

Michael shook his head. "It'll be a miracle to afford this, babe," he said.

"I bet Mr. Pym misses you," Luis said taking a sip, "that's why he got this apartment for you."

"He probably does but he has Janet now," Scott said getting his own pizza.

"Maybe it's bugged," Michael said slowly.

"Really? I don't think he'll do such a thing," Luis said surprised.

Scott frowned, "he did that one time when we broke into his house," he said.

"Wait, you never told me this before," Luis said looking at him.

"He told me afterwards," Scott replied.

"See, it could be bugged. A CEO man that has everything like Hank Pym? He gets what he wants," Michael said.

"You should asked Hope," Luis suggested.

"I'm not going to ask her! It's going to sound so weird, like, I would say: 'hi Hope, I'm just wondering: do you know if Hank bugged my apartment?'" Scott asked with a snort.

"Okay, what then?" Luis asked.

"Oh jeeze, do you think he bugged the bedroom?" Scott asked flushing.

"We do not need to know that, Scott," Michael said making Luis nod.

"Yeah, whatever. Just eat your pizza," Scott muttered making the two snigger.

Unknown to the group, they were being watched with a video camera that was hidden as the man watches from the other side.
