Marriage
"Do you want to be married one day, Hank? Or have kids?" Scott asked.
He and Scott were at the lab as Hank was working on the computer. He looks up at Scott who was sitting at the desk across from him.
"What brought this on?" Hank asked returning back to his work.
"I was just thinking about our future together," Scott explained. "You're getting older and not getting any younger."
"Scott," Hank began but Scott wasn't listening.
"Should we adopt kids or have a surrogate? Oh! Maybe Hope wants to be the surrogate mother? Or...."
"Scott!"
That made Scott stopped talking to look at Hank. "First of all: I already have Hope, Scott, so I don't want more kids. Second: if we get married, wouldn't you be a stepfather to Hope? And lastly, I don't think Hope wants to be pregnant right now as she's building her career with my company," Hank explained.
Scott frowned and paled as he thought of what Hank had just said. "I didn't think of that," he said.
"Unless Hope doesn't mind you being the stepfather, then I wouldn't mind us getting married, Scott," Hank said with a smile.
"I don't mind," a voice said, suddenly startling the two.
"Hope! How much did you hear?"
"Everything," Hope replied, coming out from hiding. "As long as Dad is happy, I'm fine with it," she said.
"Thank you, Hope," Hank said, looking at Scott, "how about it, Scott? Will you marry me?" He asked.
"Yes, of course!"
"But I'm not going to be your surrogate, find someone else."
