Chapter 2
Loki laughed lightly: "Why should I? If I conquered Earth, then what? I would be trapped here with seven billion monkeys who would try to make my life miserable every day. I don't need to be a king, I just need to be myself, and being myself is my kingdom," Loki explained with a smirk.
The human ants stared at him in amazement...
Well, he wanted to conquer it before... glory, to spite Thor and Odin, also to outsmart and beat Thanos , all in his hands. But well, as the God of Mischief, Loki knew that chaos brings amazing paths, and that's what he did at this gala.
He remembered that...he went downstairs, holding the scepter close...he was about to hit the guard when....
She was standing there among the guests, in a beautiful black dress...
Loki was in awe, this beautiful woman was standing literally in front of him...she was like a star in the heavens, a diamond in the rough, a princess on her throne or a flower in the springtime. The most beautiful woman he had ever seen.
As if drawn by a magnet, he was drawn to her, and with every passing moment, the thought of her in his arms grew more enticing and more irresistible. He had to have her. Suddenly, all plans and mischiefs vanished from his mind, even his anger at Thor and Odin little faded. He immediately walked over to her...she smiled at him...
She was one of the ladies-in-waiting in Asgard...she wanted to go on vacation and decided to spend it on Midgard in some luxurious setting. Her name....her sweet name....Sigyn....
"I wish I had a big house on Midgard for a few months and could spend time on going shopping, movies, balls and parties," she told him.
So the plans for world domination had to stop. He abandoned the mercenaries, placed Dr. Selvig in his home, took the tesseract to use later as a bargaining chip to have Odin forgive him for his previous mischiefs. And he rented a luxury house with servants for her.She was so happy....he is sure that after a few months of luxury, she won't refuse him to be his wife.He was at the flower shop to buy flowers for Sigyn when his alarm spell revealed that there were unwelcome people in the house and found his would-be enemies that Barton had told him about.
Sigyn's sweet voice snapped him out of his thoughts:
''Would you like some tea? We also have good cookies and strawberry pie,'' she suggested.
The Avengers looked at her suspiciously, as if she wanted to poison them! What impudence.
A soldier with a star... the famous Captain replied timidly: ''No thanks, we must go...''
They were gone in minutes.
Sigyn looked at Loki in amazement: "Honey, did I say something wrong? ''
Loki smiled at her: ''No, my dear... apparently they don't appreciate your hospitality.''
Sigyn nodded as if she still didn't understand what was going on and went back to her mosaic, and he sat down next to her, watching her work.
