Season 1 Episode 14 - Hope.
Three hours later, the rest of the team returned to base, for when they approached the museum, they found only dead bodies.
Back at the base, Dean was the first one to greet them.
Hey, guys. Dean said.
Dean, how are you? Colson asked.
Never mind, Fitz, Simmons, to the infirmary. Dean answered.
What's wrong? Asked Simmons.
Skye got shot. Dean answered, Fitz and Simmons ran into the infirmary, where Sam was waiting for them, and the others were also in the infirmary.
What happened? Fitz asked.
A bullet wound, we don't know what happened, but Barry does. Sam answered.
Where is he, by the way? Ward asked.
In his room, best not to touch him now. Dean answered.
So what's the situation? Colson asked.
He's stable, no bullet in the body, the wound is closed up pretty good, who did the surgery? Asked Simmons.
Barry. Sam answered.
He'd have been a good doctor. Said Simmons.
Two hours later: Barry came out of his room and went to the exit, on the way out he met Colson.
Hi, how are you? Colson asked.
Not so good. Barry answered.
I see. Said Colson.
I have to go out now, I'll be back soon. Said Barry.
Where are you going? Colson asked.
I need to talk to someone, maybe he can tell me what to do. Barry answered.
Be careful out there, we need you. Said Colson.
All right. Said Barry, then left the base.
Iron Heights Prison:
Barry came to visit his father, Henry Allen.
So, how's it going? Henry asked.
Honestly, not so good. Barry answered.
Same reason again? Henry asked.
No, it's more serious than that. Barry answered.
Will you tell us? Henry asked.
Well, to make a long story short, a lot has changed in the last four months. Barry answered.
What's the plan? Henry asked.
Well, I'm not alone at last, I've got a team, friends. Barry answered.
That's great, isn't it? Henry said.
Yeah, I know, but it doesn't make it any easier. Barry said.
Why doesn't it make you feel better? Henry asked.
The thing is, when I was alone, I didn't know what it was like to worry about other people's lives that weren't connected to our family. And now, I know what it's like and it's scary, really scary, because who knows what could happen. Barry answered.
I guess something happened. Henry concluded.
Yeah, it's their life, they risk it every day, and right now, one of their lives depends on me, another person's life is in my hands. Said Barry.
Did it work out or not? Henry asked.
It did this time, but I'm afraid it might happen again, or something else will, or something like that. Barry answered.
Don't think about it. Said Henry.
Don't think about the fact that I might lose friends? Barry asked.
If you think about it all the time you'll go crazy. Henry answered, Barry thought about his father's words, then he went back to the base.
Ward met him at the base.
Hi. Said Barry.
How are you? Ward asked.
I'm alright. Barry answered.
So, are you going to explain exactly what happened? Ward asked.
To make a long story short, they lured us into a trap, that dude said I was a much more dangerous man looking for me and that keeping me would be more profitable, then he shot Skye. Barry answered.
Save me in what way? Ward asked.
Well at that point he was alone, and he had a choice. Barry answered.
I see, I must say you acted quickly. Said Ward.
What choice did he have, it was either that or... You got it. Said Barry.
Yeah, I'm just saying, we need a man like you, and there's very few men like you. Said Ward, after which they both entered the base.
The first thing Barry did was go to the infirmary, where he met Colson.
How is she? Asked Barry.
She's stable, if it wasn't for you she'd be dead. Colson answered.
I did what I could in this situation. Said Barry.
Thank you for that. Said Colson, at that moment Skye started to wake up, Barry and Colson walked over to her the same second.
Wait, don't get up. Said Colson.
Exactly, if the stitches come apart the situation will get out of hand. Said Barry, Skye listened to them both and decided not to get up.
