Season 1 Episode 10 - Confrontation.
30 minutes later:
Barry ran in an unknown direction, then crouched on the ground.
Suddenly he heard footsteps around the corner, and then he pulled out his gun.
You better show yourself, or I swear to God I'll shoot to kill. Said Barry.
Barry, is that you?" A familiar female voice said.
Skye? Asked Barry, she came around the corner.
Thank God. Barry said with relief.
What the hell was that? Asked Skye.
Plan B in case plan A didn't work, as you can see plan A didn't work. Barry answered.
You could have at least warned me. Said Skye.
I had to make it look natural and I don't know what your level of acting is. Said Barry.
Okay, we're in the palm of our hands here, we need to find the others. Said Skye.
I'll be right there. Said Barry, after which he pulled out his phone, which had a beacon signal on it.
The closest one is Ward, he's literally a couple of blocks away in one of the motels. Said Barry, after which they followed Ward.
When they got to the motel, they went into the room where Ward was.
Ward, is everything okay? Asked Barry, suddenly Ward stood up and pointed a gun at Barry.
I should have surrendered while I had the chance. Said Ward, Barry and Skye realized there was a demon in him.
Come on Ward, it's the demon in you that's talking. Said Barry.
Shut up!!! Shouted Ward, Barry decided to listen, Skye tried to get her gun.
Hands!!! Shouted Ward pointing the gun at Skye, she took her hands off the gun.
You set us all up, because of your mistrust, we're all in danger. Said Ward, he pointed the gun at Barry again.
It's not true. Said Barry.
Ever since you got on our plane, all you've done is lie to us. Said Ward.
What do you want? To hear that I was wrong? I've made mistakes, Ward. Said Barry.
It ain't Ward, Barry. Said Skye.
Shut up! Shouted Ward.
Mistakes? And what's topping our hit parade? Secretly put beacons on all of us - was. Putting your own goals ahead of the team's. Now you've become a target of demons or something because you couldn't keep your mouth shut. It wasn't Barry's mistakes, it was a conscious choice. Said Ward.
You said it yourself. We all didn't play by the rules. Said Barry.
Maybe I wasn't clear, but I've never put my own interests ahead of the team's in my life. And I've never screwed over any of you. And for what, revenge? Ward asked, Barry didn't answer.
And now you're leaving your father to die in prison, not because you have to, but because you don't want to keep looking for the man who broke your life. Ward continued, at this point Barry couldn't take it anymore, and pinned Ward against the wall and started punching him, but Ward was able to give Barry a few blows to the head from which he lay down.
Ward pointed the gun at Barry again.
Stop. Said Skye and got between them.
Don't, Skye. Said Barry.
No, he won't kill me, won't you? Asked Skye.
Stand back. Said Ward.
Come on Ward, you don't want to kill him, you're supposed to be partners. Said Skye.
He set us up, didn't tell us he had a plan B. Said Ward.
Yeah, I know, and I didn't realize it at first either, but he had his reasons. Said Skye.
You have your reasons too, for the sake of the mission, that's the kind of thing you can do. Barry said.
You can't be trusted, you're dangerous and you'd betray anyone if it suited you. If, for example, someone tells you they know where your mother's killer is. The question is who would you choose, us or the dead? Asked Ward. Personally, the answer is obvious to me, you'd betray us in a second. Ward continued, Barry didn't answer.
Look, I know you're angry, but don't give in, fight it, Ward. Asked Skye.
Goodbye Barry. Said Ward, but suddenly at that moment Sam, Dean, Colson, and May flew into the room.
They jumped on Ward and twisted him, Dean started pouring holy water and salt on him, and Sam started reciting an exorcism, and eventually the demon was exorcised.
Did I miss something? Asked Ward.
Took you long enough. Said Barry.
Sorry, had to fight through the demons, but plan B worked perfectly. Said Colson.
Wait, you knew? Skye asked.
Yeah, the only ones who didn't know was you and Sam, so you played it believably. Dean answered.
When Ward asked what else Plan B was, we thought it was odd, because he was aware of it. Said Colson.
1.5 Hours Later: Base, Infirmary.
Barry was lying in the infirmary recovering, at which point Ward walked in on him.
Can we talk? Ward asked.
Sure. Barry answered, Ward sat down across from him.
About what I told you... Ward began to talk.
Ward, it wasn't you, it was the demon. Said Barry.
I just want to make it clear, if you thought I really thought of you like that, that's not true. I guess you're the one I can trust the most out of you newbies. Said Ward.
Thank you. Said Barry, and then went back to thinking.
Are you okay? Ward asked.
No, that demon, he said something I need to think about. Barry answered.
Okay, but if you want to share, I'm ready to hear you out. Said Ward and walked out of the infirmary.
The Next Morning: The Winchester Room.
Sam and Dean were asleep when suddenly Dean's phone rang, Sam woke up.
Dean. Said Sam, but Dean didn't wake up, so Sam picked up the phone himself.
Hello? Asked Sam, as he suddenly snapped up.
