Amy
Scarlett's POV, Sunday, January 2nd
When we got back to the house we all hopped out and headed to the front door. We rang the doorbell and waited until Ashley answered the door.
"Hi!" She said softly, "Did you have fun?" she asked, turning to look at Quin.
Quin nodded in response.
"Come on in, all of you," she continued, opening the door wider so we could all come in.
As we walked through the door we noticed another lady sitting on the couch who we had never met before. Quin slowly took off her shoes and her coat, keeping her eyes fixed on the woman. It was hard to tell what was going on in her mind, but she was definitely thinking something.
Once Quin finished taking off her shoes, she picked up Poppy (which is what she was now calling the dinosaur) and walked into the living room, towards the lady.
"What're you doing here?" She asked quietly.
"I came to see you," the woman replied with a soft smile, "And to bring you some of your own stuff," she continued, gesturing towards the bag by her feet, "But you don't own much, do you?"
"Nope. I guess not," Quinn stated, staring at the floor.
"Well, darling, I'm here to talk some things over and make sure everything's okay here. But then I'm going to have to head back home."
"I know," Quin said with a nod, "Thanks for coming."
The woman shot Quin a small smile.
"Oh, I want you to meet some people," Quin continued excitedly.
She walked over to us, grabbing both of our hands and dragging us into the living room.
"This is Scarlett," Quin said, looking at me, "And this is Lizzie," she continued, turning to face Lizzie, "Scarlett, Lizzie, this is Amy,"
"It's very nice to meet you," Lizzie said, slightly uncomfortably.
"You too," Amy said with a warm smile.
"Umm," I started, "Nice to meet you as well. Sorry, but we really should be heading out," I continued, addressing Ashley.
"Of course," Ashley said.
"Oh and I hope you don't mind," I continued, "But I invited the two others to dinner tomorrow. And we can bring anything you need."
"That's fine," Ashley replied kindly, "I'll let you know if there's anything to bring."
We nodded, said our goodbyes, and headed out the door.
