Quin sat anxiously in her seat as Thor: Ragnarok played in her headphones, staring out at the dark night sky. The lights from all the buildings beginning to light up the dark sky.
She stared annoyedly at the customs form sitting in front of her. She'd filled one of these out before, but still, what if she wrote the wrong thing?
"What's the purpose of this trip?" Quin whispered, as she glared at the customs form.
"Buisness," Lizzie laughed quietly as she leaned over and pointed to the correct box check.
Quin looked up at Lizzie, relief washing over her features, "Thank you," she said, leaning over to check the box.
"Of course,"
"Why are you laughing at me?" Quin asked, shooting Lizzie a puzzled look.
Lizzie smiled, "I don't mean to laugh, Tess. I promise. You just looked so cute when you were mad at the customs form," she answered honestly.
"Ha, ha," Quin huffed, blowing her bangs up and out of her face.
She glanced out the window again, the view of the city getting closer.
"Attention, folks. We would like to ask you all to put your tray tables up and store any large electronic devices as we begin our descent. We will be landing shortly," the pilot announced over the radio.
Tess checked the last few boxes on the form before putting her iPad back in her bag and putting the tray table back up. She gripped the form tightly in her hand as she returned to staring out the window at the city coming in to view.
"Hello everyone. We have landed safely in London where the local time is 10:42 pm. We're coming into gate D17. I would like to thank you all for flying with us today and we hope you have a great stay."
Lizzie and Quin hurried through the airport and customs before making their way to the pick up lane. Lizzie glanced at all the cars before her eyes landed on a black minvan.
"This way," Lizzie said, offering her hand to Quin before moving quickly towards the car. A man stepped out of it and pulled Lizzie into a hug.
"Hi Steve," Lizzie greeted him, "It's been a while. It's so good to see you again. How are the kids?"
"They're doing just fine. It's good to see you too," he replied kindly, "And who is this?" he asked, his gaze shifting towards Quin. Tess looked up at him apprehensively, shifting from one foot to another.
"This is Quin," Lizzie said as if that was all he needed to know.
"Ah," Steve said, "It's very nice to meet you Quin. I'm Steve, I'm your driver. That means I'll be in charge of driving you to set and almost anywhere alse if you'd like. And, I've worked with Lizzie loads of times. Really anytime she's in the UK for filming or for press."
Quin nodded, "Umm, okay. Thanks,"
Steve nodded, now moving back to the drivers seat. Quin and Lizzie made there way to the trunk, loading their bags in before climbing in to the back.
"Only a 45 minute drive," Steve said from the front seat
Lizzie smiled, "Okay, thanks Steve."
Quin sat in the backseat besides Lizzie, staring out the window once again. Nearly two weeks ago she had been leaving for a trip to visit her grandparents. Almost a week ago she was meeting Scarlett and Lizzie for the first time.
Now she's in London shooting Quantumania for a month before flying back to the US and shooting for another month. All for a movie set to release in four months. She was also going to be attending the Wakanda Forever premier in February as well as the Guardians of the Galaxy One. And, during the spring she was set to be filming both The Marvels as well as the next Avengers movie. Both of which are set to be released in the fall.
She sighed.
Was this really a good idea?
