Scars

Loki had been in the tower for a week and had not seen Alice. He had looked in every place he could without getting caught/ He even joined the others for dinner a few times, hoping she'd be there. Unfortunately, she never showed. But he was determined. Loki had noticed that during the week, Tony would vanish with no explanation, and certain floors were off-limits to him but not the others. She was definitely in the tower.

Thor, on the other hand, had already met Alice and knew exactly where she had been since day two.

It was early morning, and a majority of the Avengers were still. Steve, Sam, and Bucky were preparing for a jog, and Clint was downing coffee before a mission. And Tony was dragging around a very curious and joyful Thor.

"Where are you leading me?" Thor asked as Tony told Jarvis a floor to go to.

"To meet someone," Tony said as they stopped on the floor. Following the sounds of voices, the two come to the living room to see the popular Tv show Spongebob Squarepants playing on the Tv.

"Sweetheart," Tony knocked on the wall, " I'd like to meet someone" A small girl sat up on the couch and turned around " This is Thor. Thor, this is my daughter Alice."

"Tony, I was not aware you had a daughter"

"It's alright, no one did"

There was a ding in the kitchen, and Tony disappeared.

"Hello," Thor said, giving her a big smile and wave. " I saw you briefly yesterday. You were near Loki's cell." Alice nods slowly.

"Loki," she whispered

"Yes, he is my brother. He has joined the Avengers to rehabilitate himself and work towards forgiveness. He will do well" Thor said so sure of his brother's redemption.

"He's nice," she spoke softly

"He can be," Thor agreed " Thank you. He said you spoke to him kindly. So Thank you"

Before she could respond, Tony returned with a plate of waffles and orange juice. Thor licked his lips, and his eyes followed the sweetness. He put them on the coffee table, and Alice slid on the floor to eat at the table.

With that, Tony leads Thor away, waving her goodbye.

The ride on the elevator was a bit awkward. " You're daughter, she was very kind and beautiful"

"She's 17"

Everyone knew Alice was here, everyone knew where she was, everyone but Loki. It was a bit frustrating. Loki groaned as he tossed his book away and fell on his bed. Looking at his left arm where his punishment lay, mocking him. It looks like a normal bracelet, but it was meant to restrain him from his abilities and some of his magic.

Loki sat up.

Some.

The bracelet was meant to restrain some of his magic, not all.

Standing up, Loki had hope now as he paced the room. It had been some time since he had done this. While in prison on Asgard, he still had his abilities, but they were limited to his cell. Not here. But he'd have to be careful as to not get caught or tip-off certain people.

Taking a seat and a deep breath, he began reaching out to the tower's minds and slowly taking in information.

As Loki invaded their minds, he was kind enough to overlook private/secret thoughts, only looking for what he needed. Then he found it in the mind of Tony Stark himself, her whereabouts.
