Not Teaching Savvy
Beni was tired of these fucking exchange students from the 8th branch campus. Shinra wanted to be a hero, which he thought was childish. And, to make matters worse, Arthur would dissociate about being a knight or whatever. His mentor and boyfriend, Konro, just laughed at his misfortune at having to assist those two dumbasses. They were even intruding on his martial arts club! Headmaster Obi owed him big time.
“Oi!” Beni shouted at the duo from where he was helping the twins. “If you’re both going to be dumbasses, then leave!”
“But,” Shinra argued, “Obi said you’d help us because saving people isn’t all about having big muscles.”
“And, aren’t you taking advantage of us being here?! You’ve made us do so many menial tasks!!!" Arthur complained.
"You two don't have the stamina to even do anything. The twins could easily beat you, and they're in Middle School. " Beni chastised.
"No way!" Shinra stomped closer. "There's no way they could beat us!"
"My honor wouldn't allow me to fight them." Arthur said resolutely.
"We could totally beat you two up!!!" The twins screeched back. "Beni! Let us fight them!!!"
Konro was going to kill him if they got hurt, but that would be a big if… After a deep sigh, Beni agreed. "Fine, if you're all going to be brats about it. Don't come crying to me if you get beat up." He said, looking at Shinra and Arthur.
"Pah! We won't lose!" Shinra scoffed.
"I suppose I will fight to defend my honor." Arthur grumbled.
All four of them took their easy stance. "Then begin." Beni announced, his hands finding their way into his sleeves.
Hinata and Hikage charged at them to the boy's surprise. Beni was right. They were getting trounced by the twins. None of them even noticed Konro coming in to watch either.
"The twins are quite scary, hm?" Konro commented as he walked up behind Beni.
"Hn. They better be. We trained them from a young age after all." Beni said and leaned against the elder.
"True. Never took you for the nurturing type." Konro kissed the top of his head.
"I'm not." He responded with a huff.
"Oh? Well, I guess not, if you say so."
"You're patronizing me." Beni glared up at Konro.
"You are all of their primary teachers in martial arts, and you did a great job at it, no?"
Beni flushed then looked away. "You say the most ridiculous things." He grumbled.
They watched the twins beat the shit out of the boys with thinly veiled amusement until Beni called them off.
"Hinata, Hikage, Konro brought daifuku, so leave the idiots alone."
"Konro!" The twins launched themselves and perched on the tall man's shoulders. "Did ya see us???"
"Of course." He said with a grin while handing them the candy.
It made Beni's heart flutter to watch them interact. He shook his head then walked over to the boys who were battered and bruised on the ground. "So, you two are ready to go up against the other branches?" He questioned sarcastically, eye brow raised.
"No…" Shinra pouted dejectedly.
"So, you're going to listen to my training then?"
"Yes sir…" They said, heads bowed to Beni.
“No need to be so hard on them.” Konro gently chastised. “Especially when you are behind in grading assignments, my Sun.”
Beni sighed heavily as everyone joined in to laugh at his misfortune. Becoming teacher and taking over the school was a terrible idea.
