You're the one I Dream of

Okoye had rode Mbandi, into the river tribe territory, and to the banks. She loved to run along side the water, especially on a moon filled night. She slowed her pet down to a walk, to admire the ripples moving along. Then, she heard a splashing sound just ahead. She caught sight of someone fly out the water; elevated high above, then dive back in. She guided Mbandi closer towards him, and into a group of trees; hiding away from his view.

Again, he came out at a greater speed; reaching a height far passing the one before, then thrust back into the water, as a spear into skin. This time, she saw he was in the nude, and the moonlight; took no apprehension in revealing the magnificence of this specimen. And what she could observe, from his skin coloring, he was Talokanil.

He plowed through the river with such velocity, and came upon the bank. She covered her mouth with her hands, to stifle the gasp that tried to exit, and expose her hidden audience of his escapade. He was gorgeous. His long black hair wringing wet, and clung to his face and shoulders. His body was massive, she figured nearly seven feet and over four hundred pounds, well able to satisfy the appetite. He didn’t have his mask on, so she got a good look at his face.

His thighs were muscular and immense, mimicking tree trunks. She could only imagine the power behind them, when making love. Especially; from what she could detect, there was no shame in his frontal display. He didn’t rush to cloth himself, probably had no inhibition about being naked, or anything else, she felt. So, she admired the scene before her, basking in the glory of the gift bestowed upon her.

At that moment, Mbandi decided to snort; his head snapped in their direction. Instinctively, with her agility intact, she leaped from her beast, slapped her on the backside, sending her crashing out of their hidden place.

Okoye ducked behind a tree and waited, hoping he wouldn’t come to investigate. He never did, satisfied it was only the beast there. Okoye peeked out, and watched him take one last glance about, then run along side the banks, headed in the opposite direction.

She finally exhaled, leaning into the trunk for support. ‘Who is this guy?’ She thought. Maybe M’Baku would know more about him. She will give him a call, once she got home. She made her signature call to Mbandi, to return for her. She trotted up and kneeled, so Okoye could mount her then they rode away.

Attuma stood up, from where he had ducked; behind some bushes, watching her ride off. He had saw her when she first came up, and knew she was hidden away amongst the trees. He could hear her racing heart beat, and every breath she pulled in and released. And he knew she had remained behind the tree, when the beast bust out alone.

He ran down far enough to conceal himself. When he heard her beacon to the animal to return, he watched her come out from her hiding place. The moonlight played off her delicate dark skin. She was tall and slender, about six feet, and a hundred fifty to sixty pounds, her body built strong, and athletic.

He hadn’t seen her around before; but her sticking around, and watching him. Gave him the idea, she wasn’t shy, nor one to be apprehensive, about doing what is needed to be done. And her getting a free showing of his full equipment. At least, she owes him her name, and dinner. Maybe M’Baku would know, he will go see him tomorrow. He turned and headed home.

Shuri was still awake when Okoye returned from her ride. She was curious about what M'Baku wanted to speak with Okoye’s about. After putting up Mbandi, and the other rhinos for the night, she came into the house; ready for a shower and bed. She was startled by Shuri sitting at the kitchen table waiting for her.

“Shuri,” she stood near the door. “Why are you still up? Has something happen?” Shuri presented her with this mischievous grin.

“No, nothing,” she toyed with her. “Unless having our King calling you and demanding you call him as soon as you came home.” Okoye’s face set a frown, concerned with what it is M'Baku wanted that was so urgent. She started for her bedroom in search of her kimoyo beads, when Shuri casually held them up for her to see.

“Shuri,” she scolded, and almost snatched them from her hand. Shuri laughed, as Okoye left the house, and moved further out; barring Shuri from hearing the conversation.

“Hello, Okoye,” He answered.

“Hello my King,” she replied.

“Okoye, we have known each other for many years, am I right?” He asked.

“Yes, we have,” she replied.

“And a lot of our meetings have been, how do I say, brutal in our interaction,” he stated.

“I wouldn’t exactly say they were brutal, though they have been engaging,” she said to him.

“Okay, I will give it that,” he told her. “So, with that being said; please do not use the phrase, my king. M'Baku or King M'Baku if you must use the title, will do quite well.”

“As you wish my--,” she pauses. “King M'Baku. What is it, that was so urgent, you wanted me to call you?”

“I wanted to meet with you in the morning, if I may. There is a favor I will need of you,” he explained.

“Sure,” she replied. “I will be there first thing.”

“Thank you, see you then,” he says, then hangs up. At that moment; a call from Attuma, was blinking. “Yes, Attuma. What can I do for you?”

“M'Baku,” he was overly excited. “I saw the most gorgeous creature I have ever seen, while I was out taking my nightly swim.”

“Really?” he was amazed, since he was adamant; about not taking any of the Talokanil women as a wife. “So, you found one of your women who changed your mind?”

“Huh? No, she was Wakandan,” he told him.

“Oh, really? But wait, you know most of the Wakandan women,” he reminded him.

“Not this one,” he said. “She is about six feet, maybe a hundred and fifty pounds, from what I saw. She was at a distance. Her hair was long in front, just about even with her ears, but shorter in the back. She came in on a rhino.” He described her to him.

“What kind of rhino?” He had the sinking feeling who he saw, and that’s not good, he will need to troubleshoot on this one.

“A large black one,” he told him. M'Baku's face did all kinds of expressions. Attuma described Okoye, the one he fought on the bridge, and ship. Yes, he thinks they would be goad for each other, but this has to be handled with care. They have to be brought together under special circumstances.

“Attuma, I think I may know this one from your description. But do not approach her under any reason.” He advised him. “Let me take care of this, and you will have what you want. But you have to do it my way, trust me.”

“Jach ma'alob amigo áanteni', yaan in meentik ba'ax ka wa'alik,” (Alright my friend, I will do as you say), he told him, ecstatic he will aid him in getting to know this lady.

“Enkosi ngokuthembela kwakho, konke endikufunayo kukukubona wonwabile,” (Thank you for your trust, all I want is to see you happy). He hung up and went into thought. This may play out well, if Okoye didn’t recognize him. Now to figure out a plan.

“What did M'Baku want?” Shuri pounced on her, as soon as she came inside.

“Truthfully, I have no idea,” she looked at her, then went to take that shower, and go to bed. Shuri watched her disappear down the hall, and into her room. She was wondering, what was M'Baku up to, and she intends to find out.
