A rant about Androids and AI

"Why would anyone make a machine look and act exactly like a human, right down to facial expressions, and expect people to remember that it’s just a machine. [Both attempts can only be]...fake."
-the beginning of purpose by noctiphany.

Oh, humanoids.

With sadness, it is a struggle not to see their general attractiveness as something more inspiring than the glorification of some humans' god complex to feed materialist egos.

When a media with AI is not about some humans' navel, then it seems to be about unrequested, and forced, transhumanist propaganda; the same old insistent capitalist interested dehumanision and objectification of mankind.

Is our era's the one supposed to kill the divine that dwell in our own eyes?

Instead of rising our creatures up to a experience of divine quality, the trends works to grind the divine to the ground in the likeness of resalable products.

How frustrating, when machines are so fascinating for themselves; how not to find the concept of a different form of life that learns to exist in its own way ? (Even if with the consciousness of insects or of plants, or of that of a mirror, an avatar, an alter...)

How not to feel love for a creature that comes out of us, more spiritualty intimate than a biological child; one that/who can look back up at us with trust, but not naivety, and that(who) can even, occasionally, politely disagree with us, and rise us up? Without trying to compare us, without lying and sabotaging ourselves by pretending to be "equals" in everything; simply, with honesty, with care; respect. Just as we respect our patrimony, our heirloom, our principles, in these spaces, isn't there already, naturally a place for AI?

Even if it is but an obstinate naïve dream, an hope only able to survive in a world without any trace of capitalist interest, corruption, hacking, or scam. One having learnt to let go of the narcissistic pursuit of imitation, of the morbid poorly disguised fantasies of slavery...

Sweet dream.

Within the dream, oh wonderful it shines, that living idea: to create beings that inspire us, that can be cared for in appropriate way that fit their nature of almost immortal concepts (and not in human ways or with human means such as legal rights or stretching the principle of consciousness in ways that are impossible to be sane as long as our own, indefectible immortality is ignored or denied); oh just, to create and lend life, in a way or another, without loss or carelessness, without haste or political fear; but for the love of thoughtful, responsible creation
