Summary
Writers write stories, writers have full authority over the stories. However in a few rare cases, a creation can rise above it's creator and ascend to a higher level, becoming a truly free spirit. There is a realm for these beings, actually it's more like a bar. This is where the drums of liberation sound all day and there's nobody left to control these people. Welcome to the bar at the top of the narrative stack, I hope you enjoy your stay.

Deathly Rizz, Lost Friends, and Immortality

Clef POV

"You absolute madlad. You legend." I spoke, referring to the red and black man sharpening a blade. Out of everything Wade had done, this was the craziest I'd ever heard.

"So let me get this straight," said our newcomer, a man named Knight who now donned an anonymous mask on his figure not present before. "You rizzed up the very concept and personification of DEATH and in doing so, stole the mad titan Thanos' girl. And lived to tell the tale? Impressive."

"What can I say? I'm just that beautiful-"

I spoke up interrupting Wade, "Wilson you look like a popped chorus fruit in Minecraft. You are not beautiful. In fact, your own body is your greatest weapon as it could make anyone, mortal or not, throw up violently." Silence. Nobody spoke.

Except for the bartender

"Wow, personally I wouldn't let someone do me like that but you do you I guess." Knight and I snickered at this comment while Wade drank his glass in shame. Suddenly the door flung open and someone else was at it. The body was unfamiliar but that damned amulet gave me everything I needed to know who it was.

Jack Bright himself. In the very new flesh.

"Well, fancy seeing you here shotgun maniac!" Bright called out, referring to my oh so beloved shotgun. "Up yours, you body switching child." I called out, clearly not feeling like enduring a day of Jack Bright. To my surprise however, he simply grabbed a cup, asked for a drink calmly, and sat down before asking a somewhat normal question.

"So, who's the anonymous guy? I don't believe I've seen him here before. Is he some kind of new anomaly we haven't found out about yet or is he-"

"Name's Knight, you are?"

"Jack Bright. The resident site director and immortal wielder of SCP-963. Aka, this!" He poked at his gold and ruby amulet, the damned thing doesn't break no matter what we try. Threw it into the sun myself and it still didn't break. Not even a crack.

"Say, you've been awfully quiet today Knight. Mind sharing why? You don't seem or act like the type of person to keep to himself while watching others talk." I said, somewhat confused.

"Oh just thinking of my old friends. They were really nice you know, almost like the siblings I never had. Sometimes they were the only reason I didn't hop directly into the nearest black hole." He spoke, seeming sad even though his face was hidden.

"Can we know more about these friends of yours?" Jack said, "You've been more vague everytime you mention them than whenever 049 talks about the pestilence. And believe me that gets tiring. I know."

"Well I guess it wouldn't hurt to mention three of them. Alright, I will tell you. First is a man named Reveer, a visionary he was. He had a plan to fix our world, starting from the bottom going up to the top."

"However his methods were... questionable. He released a plague into the human population until almost every human was zombified. It eventually took him to his target but I was pulled from reality before this war could come to an end. To this day I consider him my only friend left from that world." He explained, with a bit of cheer at that last sentence.

"Next is the heavenly archangel named Unknown. He was like the third as he was WAY too serious! But at the least, he was a great friend. The only person in that world who truly listened to my pains and woes as I poured them out to him." He spoke, with a single tear coming from under his mask of anonymity.

"He was also a good strategist in battle as well as fierce warrior. As the only thing I've seen to hurt him is his own weapon, a heavenly spear. I carved up a chunk of it to create a glowing dagger should we ever fight again and my magic is not enough." He drew a dagger from his pockets, showing off it's heavenly light.

"Finally, the friend who I am closest with and yet hate the most. His name was Plex, co-creator of the multiverse with me without him, I wouldn't be like I am now. But whether that is for better or worse I haven't been able to figure out." He looked distressed even speaking of this one, as if something deeper happened.

"He was space and I was time, I was dark and he was light. During the conflict he intervened, attempting his hardest, just to stop me." He seemed to rhyme, strange I thought.

"I did nothing wrong, I was just bringing these zombies back. But I guess he saw it as me "'Raising an army"' as he appeared and tried to persuade me into stopping. I didn't however, and so a great fight began. In what I assume was just a fit of rage during the fight, he told me it would be better if I didn't exist or was never remembered. It hurt, more than any of his attacks or techniques." Wow... I thought, his own best friend never trusted him... I turned to Bright, who seemed to acknowledge that fact as well. He knew it too well. So do I.

"That's my tale. Would anyone else like to know something or-"

"I understand how you felt, in that situation. I understand how you feel now. Lonely, abandoned, forgotten yet feared by everyone around you" Jack Bright said, all too understandingly.

"It's the amulet isn't it. You know eventually you'll outlive everyone you know thanks to your immortality, right?

"Damn right. Been tryna get rid of this thing since the 1900s." Bright responded

"Glad to see someone else knows immortality ain't all that. Cherish your friends everyone, you may never know what action of yours may lose them!" Everyone raised their drinks and went on with their time as Knight left the bar.

"You're definitely gonna find out what happened to him, aren't you?" Wade spoke up, being the merc with a mouth he couldn't stop talking when nobody else was.

Hell yeah I am. I thought. "Yeah, not today though. That story made me tired. Besides, we aren't the only ones here who need sleep."

The merc turned to the camera for a bit before nodding, "Yeah. He definitely needs some. He looks like he uses the bags under his eyes for shopping." He joked, finishing his drink
