Chapter 5
“We are in Midgard. Also realm called Earth.” Loki responded without hesitation now, he continued to let my touch his cheek and didn’t move away. He was watching the whole time with a kind and soft expression. I never seen him like that... Tom Hiddleston and his other characters....yes....but no Loki. Then I realize...why would he tell me that if I am from Earth? Would that mean he kidnapped me from somewhere else and brought me to Earth? This body...this previous person...wasn't from Earth? Not human? Alien?
I needed more information
"You are the Prince of Asgard... why are you in Midgard?" I asked, using the Asgardian word for Earth. Suddenly someone knocks on the room.
Loki’s eyes moved to the door. He looked slightly annoyed at knocking.
''Who is it?''Loki asked.
Agent Barton entered the room...his eyes were scary blue (mind control). I was looking at him with curiosity...Hawkeye. So he still under control. So Loki was not in Germany yet.
"My Liege, forgive me for interrupting..." he began.
''What is it, Barton?'' Loki spoke with a bored tone, he glanced from me back to Barton.''You must have something important to interrupt me for'' Loki’s eyes were cold. It was familiar. Loki who want be respected. I thought about how he yelled at Thor that he wanted to be his equal. About how he fought Thor on Stark Tower. About how he took the throne at the end of the Dark World.
"My Liege... the beast just woke up," Agent Barton replied.
''The beast?''Loki repeated with a bored look on his face.''Explain. Now.''
"The guards said he broke the bars...but was trapped in the force field, but he managed to free Romanoff and Stark beforehand," replied Agent Barton. I was looking at them. What was going on here? Beast or Banner? Romanoff? Stark? What was going on here that wasn't in the movie?
“Where are Romanoff and Stark? Is the beast still in his cell?” Loki asked. His tone was very demanding. He was extremely serious at this point, his eyes were narrowed in a look of fury and his entire body was very tense. I stared at them, not understanding what was going on.
''The force field has stopped the beast, still in the cell. We fix the bars. Romanoff and Stark were last seen in corridor B, staircase 12'' Agent Barton replied.
''Send someone to deal with Stark and Romanoff. If they cause any trouble, kill them'' Loki gave the order and his face remained the angriest how I would seen it in my time with him. ''I will deal with the beast myself and do so quickly. Leave.''
I jump out of bed, not caring that I'm wearing nothing but a thin nightgown. He looks scary, but that doesn't stop my determination.
I am thinking of the clever Natasha who sacrificed her life for the Soul Stone.
I think of Tony, whose death I saw before I saw his life.
"Please don't kill them" I gently touch Loki's shoulder. Loki glanced at me. His face softened and his anger shifted to confusion.
''Very well. I will spare their lives for now'' Loki told. Agent Barton stared at me blankly...but there was something...some relief. I guess he was glad I convinced Loki not to kill them.
''Why would you want me to spare them?''Loki had a curious look on his face. What was I supposed to say? I don't know who I am...I don't know if I know them. I couldn't tell the truth that yesterday I was still in a world where the MCU is just movies and tv series on Disney Plus.
''Because I don't like violence,'' I say, throwing my arms around his neck, praying he'll accept it. It was true...I didn't like violence, which is why I haven't watched any MCU movies for so long. I preferred ''Pride and Prejudice'', ''Phantom of the Opera'', ''Labyrinth''...
Loki seemed surprised by my actions. He stood still for a moment and seemed frozen, confused by the sudden show of affection from my side.
''Well… I’ll spare them to make you happy…'' He told to me.
I gently caress his cheek."Yes, that will make me happy," I say with relief in my voice. They will be saved. This is good.
"My Liege....I understand your orders are changed?" Agent Barton timidly asks.
Loki looked at me when I was caressed his cheek, a soft smile remained on his face. He seemed at ease with the affection I were showing him, but that didn’t last for long as Barton spoke again. Loki frowned and pulled away from me and looked at Barton.
''What is it? What has changed?''Loki spoke with a hint of annoyance now, he seemed slightly disappointed at being interrupted.
"You ordered Stark and Romanoff to be killed... but this lady convinced you to change your mind, so I'm waiting for new orders," Agent Barton explained politely to him.
"Very well. Let the two of them live." Loki's voice was even but it had the slightest edge of annoyance to it as he spoke. Then he turned to me and looked down at me."Happy now?"
''Yes, thank you'' I replied to him.
