The Front Lines: Second Wave Season 01 Episode 03

Albedo had been sitting alongside Lucy, Static, Hotstreak, and Gear, at a table along with Ship who seemed to be curious about Gear's backpack tilting his head at it and then moving down low wagging the backside of himself as if he were getting ready to pounce at it as the machine was pointing the camera lens at him that was attached to a cable. 

"Shiiip Ship!" The little Mechamorph blob called pouncing on the machine and wrapping himself around it changing how it appeared to look with Hotstreak laughing about Gear's tech being eaten. 

"HEY, dude your dog just ate my backpack!" Gear stated to Albedo who looked down at Ship in response. 

Albedo then looked at Ship who'd made a gagging noise and detached himself from it and made a growling sound moving away from Backpack. "That stuff made of Nth metal?" He'd questioned Gear. 

"Well, ya. Originally it wasn't but I used it to create a new shell for him, worked out great since Backpack was immune to when that little shit Mordred changed the world to his liking, Backpack and all the tech I had was unaffected." Gear answered back about that while Backpack climbed up the legs of the chair and onto his back and laying flat against him. 

"Ya, Ship doesn't like Technomagic so Nth Metal is something he generally doesn't want anything to do with." Albedo answered back getting up and stretching and then answered his com before stating "On my way."  

"Well, good luck on your mission today." Lucy spoke as Albedo had nodded and began to walk off when strange energies had began to surround the table and before anyone could react they'd vanished. 

"Damn it Mal." Was all that Albedo said with a sigh and then continued off with Ship to their mission. 

We then see strange creatures attacking an oil rig as Aquaman had called out "The Magma creatures are attacking the new Bermuda Oil Rig, if it collapses we'll have the worst oil spill in history on our hands." 

"On our way Aquaman." Spider-Man stated as they'd been traveling, not by Javelin, but by Ship, and he'd brough Diana and Albedo with them. 

Once they were over the platform they'd dropped out of a hatch and Ship changed into a smaller jetpack form on Albedo's back dropping him safely while the other two simply flew down. 

"Alright Ship, you know what to do." Albedo spoke as Ship barked in response detaching himself from Albedo and went off towards Spider-Man, and while they were doing that Albedo called out "Artic-Chill!" slapping his arm bands together and changed into a fusion of Articguana and Big Chill and had started blasting the magma creatures causing them to freeze over along with flying through some of them and freezing them from the inside out. 

"Keep it up, don't let these things destroy the rig! I've told these idiots to stay out of my ocean." Aquaman stated to them as they'd continued fighting. 

Meanwhile Ship had gone over to Spider-Man and wrapped himself around them taking on the form of a suit of armor with ice based weaponry blasting one of the magma creatures that got too close. "Okay, this is kinda fun." Spider-Man stated and continued to fight using Ship as a tech suit to battle the creatures. 

The heroes had been continuing to battle as the creatures continued to surround them when a gust of wind had blown creating a tornado around them that caused the creatures to be swept away in it and some guy in red and white says "Not to worry fellow heroes, the Ultimen are here." 

Aquaman had recognized these guys and says "Not these idiots again." with an annoyed look seeing them all. 

One of the guys with a blue outfit had touched a power box and changed into electricity zapping a bunch of the magma creatures in the process taking them down around Spider-Man and the one in red and white says "Y'know Juice, Spider-Man was my hero when I was a lad, not his fault he's getting old." to the guy with the blue outfit

"Okay first of all, there's just no way in hell I was your hero when you were a kid." Spider-Man states before blasting the guy in red and white with Ship's ice gun. "Secondly you're setting off my Spider-Sense." 

Meanwhile one of them that kept his face hidden that had long brown hair and wore a mostly blue costume that covered from the base line of his hair all the way down to his feet along with a tattered web design over it had been fighting alongside Wonder Woman as a ratty tattered purple cape flowed behind him. 

This one had been far more brutal in his attacks than the others damaging the creatures physically and knocking them away from him before stating "Mark. of. Kaine." as he'd grabbed one of the magma creatures by the head and we see smoke alongside a searing sound, but when he'd pulled his hand away there was a melted handprint left on the creature's head.

Two of the Ultimen that were twins had been discussing and one of them called "Flood!" as his hand turned into water, but before he could both he and his sister had been frozen in ice by Artic-Chill and the rest of the Front Liners had managed to take out the creatures with only Kaine having not been frozen. 

"That one doesn't set off my Spider-Sense." Spider-Man stated to them about Kaine who'd been gathering up their frozen comrades to take them away. 

We then cut to later on as Will Harangue was speaking with J. Jonah Jameson about the Ultimen and their merchandise and such and Albedo turned off the Tv stating "They let that slime ball out of prison. Next time We arrest him I'm pushing he go through the Plumbers galactic courts for all the shit that he's done." referring to Harangue. 

"Well, perhaps the Ultimen don't know how much the Plumber Hero Division pays or something." Wonder Woman stated to them but Spider-Man crosses his arms in response. 

"Oh they know, they could go join the P.H.D. without joining the front lines. Jameson will do anything to rub my name and everyone I'm associated with aside from his son through the mud and I'm getting tired of it. I thought he'd given up once already." The Wallcrawler stated to her in response. 

"Harangue straight up tried to murder Minors and then tried to commit global genocide of everyone that isn't human." Albedo stated to them about the issue with the Ultimen. "All that bastard cares about is making the Plumbers, and in particular The Tennyson Family, look bad." 

We then cut to later as a giant woman had been moving backwards falling onto part of a building as we see what appeared to be a fusion of Waybig and Fourarms fighting them stating "C'mon Giganta you really think you can handle me?" They'd questioned cracking both sets of knuckles. 

"I do when I have help." She'd answered back as we see Solomon Grundy coming to fight and punching Way-Arms and making him grunt.

When Solomon Grundy landed Way-Arms simply picked up Grundy after that and thrown him into Giganta knocking her back and causing her to flip over the building as if tripping backwards over a chair as she'd been trying to get up and after taking them down he'd received word that something was up in another part of down. He'd walked over and busted through a bunch of windows holding out his hands for them to climb into and he'd carried them down to safety having to go after more. 

We then notice someone was webbing away from the broken part of the building and see that it had been the one that called himself Kaine helping to free civilians from the building landing on a rooftop next to Spider-Man. 

"Other Ultimen. Go bad. Clones. Not-stable." He'd spoken to them putting down the civilians and then moved to go back into the building while Spider-Men relayed that information to the others as Diana had come in alongside Aquaman who had Ship around himself as a jetpack allowing him to fly up to help other people. 

"Ship, get as many people away as possible." Diana called out to the Mechamorph wanting him to help the civilians. 

The Mechamorph blob made what would presumably be his head jut out from the jetpack and nodded letting go of Aquaman and jumping out of the window. He'd spun around changing into a ring that outstretched changing shape into his massive spacecraft form and then flown up to the area breaking the windows with sonics and then opening up the cargo area sending out a ramp with walls for the people to use to get on. 

The Ultimen had been arguing about something and Albedo yells out "ENOUGH OF THIS!" having changed back to human so he'd fit inside of the building. "You're all acting like Children!" 

"We are children!" The female twin called out "We've just discovered that we're all clones and only a year old!" 

"Ya, I'm Six, you're all supposed to be biologically older than me yet I'm the mature one at Biologically 18." He'd then told them all annoyed at what they were doing. 

"Wait, you're a clone?" The one in red and white questioned them looking surprised to hear that fact. 

"Ya, and you're all stupid. Kaine explained everything, news flash if you'd come to the Plumbers with your issue they'd be able to help. I was stabilized by the Galvan I'm sure they'd be able to stabilized you all too." Albedo then stated in annoyance about the way that they'd all been acting.

Finally the Plumbers had been taking away the Ultimen having a spacecraft ready to transport them to be treated and Kain had been speaking with Spider-Man who'd questioned "Project Cadmus?" 

"All. Kaine. Know." Was the response he'd gotten when some trucks had shown up with people readying weapons as a woman had walked over towards them. 

"We'll take it from here, the Ultimen belong to us." The woman stated to them as her people were pointing weapons at the Ultimen. 

"No." Albedo answered back "The Ultimen are people, they don't belong to you or anyone else. Under order of the Plumbers, which Supersede ALL world Government and Military Forces you are taking them nowhere." 

The men had pointed weapons at them all and Albedo simply raised an eyebrow the same way Ben used to do when someone was trying something stupid to threaten them letting the woman weigh her options. 

"Stand down." The woman stated turning to leave knowing there's no way she could ever win a battle with them at this time leaving the Ultimen in the Plumbers' care. 

We then move to later on at the Cafeteria as the Strange Energies that had appeared earlier returned and with it had brought Static, Gear, and Hotstreak back to the present time. "Back already, where's Lucy?" Albedo questioned them about having already come back in no time at all "Guess Mal actually managed to fix it." 

"Er ya, about that. Lucy asked us to deliver that." Static stated handing Albedo a cube and Ship seemed to be sniffing at Backpack again but gagged and moved off slowly crawling away from him having no interested in it anymore. 

We then move on to Albedo and Ben watching the cube alongside Static, Gear, and Hotstreak, as a recording of Lucy had been playing stating "Tell everyone that I love them but I think I'll make the most difference here, and there's this guy, a cute blond that I met while here and uh, well.. Anyway I have to go, I love you all and I hope you all understand." 

"So, tell me about this boy Lucy likes so much." Ben spoke looking at the other three that'd brought the cube with them. 

Albedo however had just shrugs stating "Mal probably." while getting up and walking off without giving them any sort of explanation or any time to ask.
