Miles stumbled through your window, not even bothering to peel his Prowler suit off. Today was one of the days where he had to go out and be the Prowler, ending in him being hurt afterwards. He couldn't even think properly, his head filled with thoughts of coming to you, holding you, and loving you. "Oh, Miles! I keep telling you, come in quietly." He only closes his eyes, pushing himself onto your bed, and you follow. "Had a rough day." He could only mumble, his voice only becoming softer as he feels you place a hand on his shoulder. "I just-" He let out a soft sigh. "Just wanna be with you. Just for some time."
Miles loved the way that you made him feel safe, everything be damned. The way you smiled at him made him want to let you hug him close, the way you would give him a massage whenever he came into your room, obviously stressed and recovering from unneeded bloodshed, made his heart ache and pound when Miles had to eventually pull away from you. "It's almost time for you to go, Miles." He watches you pout, obvious reluctance in your voice as you look at him. "I know." "You better be back soon, Gonzalez. Promise me." You cup his cheek and look at him tenderly. Miles looks back, hands to his sides. "I love you, Miles." Those simple words made him look away from you, his face warm and his heart fluttering. "I know, I..I love you too." And for a moment, Miles feels like he's just a normal fifteen year old boy.
