Note
I have yet to actually watch "across the spiderverse" so no spoilers please, I already get enough of that on TikTok T-TMy oc is from our universe, Earth 1218, where superheroes and anything with powers are just in comic books. My oc has a hyperfixation on Marvel Comics and comics in general (I actually don't read comic books, so this might be hard.)I don't own Spider-Man, the characters, nor do I own the gifs/pictures used in this book, this is just for entertainment only

Chapter Four

Earth 928

Year: 2099

Dawn had frozen in her place, a bit frightened to turn around to face the person that seemed to set off her new Spider Sense. She breathed out, closing her eyes and turning around to face the masked giant. Her eyes opened, trailing up the tall body in front of her, her 5"4 stature being towered over by the 6 something behemoth that stood menacing in front of her, his arms held to his side as he analyzed her.

"Hi," was the first thing Dawn had said, taking a step back as the man before her took one forward. Now she was beyond frightened, this man was so intimidating with the way he looked down at her with such burning hatred. He scoffed, walking more up to her causing her to stumble back a bit.

"You're not supposed to be here," the man spoke, his feet carrying his giant frame towards the frightened nineteen-year-old. She raised her hands up.

"L-look dude, I was just relaxing in my bedroom before that weird portal opened above me, I don't even know how I'm here," she stuttered, both from the cold and the fear. He growled in frustration at her explanation he didn't ask for.

"I have no interest in hearing how you got here." He spoke. She could swear she had heard his voice somewhere before, but where? "You'll need to come with me, and I have no patience for disobedience," he said. Dawn's whole face turned red at the ending of that sentence. God was her head in the gutter. She looked at him with a raised brow.

"Come with you? Dude, have you never heard of "stranger danger"? I ain't going nowhere with you," she spoke, now glaring at the man. Even with the mask, she could still tell he was scowling at her.

"I'm not asking, kid," he threatened. She just gave him an unimpressed look and raised her brows at him again.

"Well, if you'd show me the way out of here, I won't ever bother you again. This city won't have to worry about me ," as she said that, she whipped her hand behind her, causing something to shoot from her wrist and latch itself onto one of the buildings. She turned her head, her brown optics staring at the web that came from her wrist. She glowered at the organic web fluid.

"mierda," she cursed before being pulled into the direction the web flung to. She shrieked in fright, holding onto the web for dear life. "I don't want to die, I've only just turned Nineteen!" She screamed. She heard another body come after her, and her guess was that it was the man in the red and blue sling tight suit.

"Open your eyes! If you keep them closed you're going to crash, and I am not saving you," the man said, swinging beside her with some kind of Red web of sorts. Dawn did as he said and held on much tighter.

"I'm going to die as a virgin!" She exclaimed, the man rolled his eyes, already fed up with this Anomaly.

"Shut up, you're irritating." He snarled.

"Thank you for your input asshole!" She exclaimed.

"Just do as I do!" He said, swinging on his own red webs. Dawn looked at him, and copied what he had done, though, the only downside was that she missed one of the buildings, which caused her to fall from the sky. The man left down, and shot one of his webs at her, catching her and pulling her up to him, clutching her to his chest as he landed on another roof.

He looked down at the woman in his arms and frowned, her Spider-Man hat was messily staying on which caused some of her brown locks to escape and frame her face. The man's mask came off, his face studied her some more. He knew he had recognized her when he first landed on that roof she was on. Earlier that night, he had gotten an alert that an anomaly was in the area he was patrolling, and he had watched the younger woman like a hawk once she had appeared in the middle of the sidewalk. He didn't think anything of her, until she had started climbing one of the buildings. Once he had landed behind her, he heard her talking to herself and how she had inexperienced abilities, but once she had turned around, his heart had stopped, because there was no way she was there, in front of him, with that old Spider-Man beanie. Sure, the beanie was different, but he knew who she was, even if she was from a different dimension. Her name was...

"Dawn..." The man spoke sadly. Never had he said that name in such a long time, so long in fact, that it hurt his heart when hearing his own voice saying it. Dawn's eyes were closed from passing out due to the fright, so he was thankful she couldn't see him like this. So vulnerable and heartbroken from seeing her face again.
