I have yet to actually watch "across the spiderverse" so no spoilers please, I already get enough of that on TikTok T-TMy oc is from our universe, Earth 1218, where superheroes and anything with powers are just in comic books. My oc has a hyperfixation on Marvel Comics and comics in general (I actually don't read comic books, so this might be hard.)I don't own Spider-Man, the characters, nor do I own the gifs/pictures used in this book, this is just for entertainment only

Dawn groaned pushing herself up from the ground, yet again, this time though, it was a cold and wet surface. Her eyes opened and saw that her hat was laying in front of her, grabbing it and put it back on over her messy curls. She then stood up, her optics noticing the red glow that glistened off her body, looking around she saw she was in some kind of Red dome. She put her hands on it, confused.

"What on Earth?" She questioned, pushing on it, causing the dome to ripple from her efforts. "What is this thing?" She asked, putting more of her weight on the dome.

"That won't work mate," came a deep British accent from behind her. Dawn startled at the sound of his voice, causing her to turn around quickly, her bag swinging from the force - how she still had the thing was beyond her - to see a masked figure, spikes coming from his mask in a mohawk style, she could tell his whole outfit was based on punk rock. She was never into that type of music but respected the people who were.

"Hello? Hey, do you know where I am?" Dawn asked, putting her hands on the other side of the dome. The figure in front of her seemed to shrug his shoulder, his guitar - that seemed like a comic book cut out from how much it's turning into different paper styles - bounced at the motion. Dawn looked at him with annoyance, "You're not going to tell me, are you?" He shrugged again, a smirk hiding behind his mask. Dawn sighed.

"You look miserable," the kid in front of her taunted, she looked at him in irritation.

"Jee, thanks. It's called depression with a hint of fuck off," Dawn strained a smile at him, her eye twitching from his taunts. He chuckled, pulling his mask off, showing his face along with his hair. Her eyes widened, wondering how he could put all of that hair underneath such a small mask.

"I like you," he said, pointing at the nineteen-year-old.

"Alright Hobie, leave her alone," came a woman's voice, coming up behind the kid who had been taunting her ever since she had woken up in this strange place.

"Oh thank God, someone who seems like she knows what she's doing," Dawn spoke, pressing her palms harder against the dome. The woman chuckled.

"Thank you," she said, taking something from her pocket and pushing a button of sorts, letting the dome down, causing Dawn to stumble a bit from the sudden disappearance of the red cage. "Come on," she said, turning on her heel and walking the way she came. Dawn raised a brow, looking towards this Hobie character, who merely shrugged at her confusion. "Come on kid," the woman said, stopping to wait for the young adult. Dawn hurried after her, with Hobie following after them.

Dawn looked Around the area, confused about where she was. This place was so big, and as she walked she realized she was passing a lot of those domes that held other people inside. "What is this place?" She asked, walking next to the woman. The woman ignored her question, trying to get them to where they needed to go. Dawn became quiet as she walked, Hobie coming up next to her, his boots clicking against the ground. She turned her head to the younger teen, who side-eyed her.

"So, like, how do you fit you're hair inside of that mask? I mean, logically, it's a bit impossible considering how small your mask is," Dawn said, using her hands to better explain what she was saying. Hobie smirked, looking at her, then scoffed.

"Nerd," He said. Dawn gave him an offended look, ready to tell him she wasn't a nerd, but before she could do anything, she accidentally ran into the woman she had been following. She looked behind her and glared, causing Dawn to back away with a small apologetic smile.

"Lo siento, seรฑora" Dawn said nervously, the woman turned back around as Hobie left her side, not before patting her on the shoulder in a "good luck" manner, causing the brown eyed girl to look over at him. Her eyes then scanned the room she was in, noticing that it kind of looked like an office of sorts, it was definitely bigger than Miguel's office back in her world - Don't ask her how she knows that - her brown optics then goes to the plate form that was slowly making it's way down to them. She raised a brow at that, looking over to the woman who sighed through her nose, already knowing what Dawn wanted to ask.

"He doesn't like when people mentions it," She told the young adult, who in turn crossed her arms over her chest.

"Now I'm more tempted to ask," Dawn said, looking back up at the man in the skin tight suit. She had to admit, he was rather attractive, even if she hadn't even seen his face yet. The man on the lift was looking at his orange monitors and screens, his mask still on his face as he watches them. Finally, what felt like years, the lift stopped only a few or so inches from the ground, Dawn waited in anticipation for what this mystery man was about to say or do.

"ยฟHola?" Dawn spoke up to the man, trying to get his attention away from screens he was looking at. Behind the mask he glanced her way, his mind still racing from seeing her face again, after all of these years. "Yeah, still trying to wrap my head around this man," Dawn said, fixing her beanie that fell in her eyes again. The man grunted before turning to face her, walking to the edge of the lift, his mask slowly disappearing from his face, the young adults face growing in shock, her eyes widened at the familiar man before her.

"Miggy?" Dawn questioned, using the old nickname she had given her version of Miguel when she had first met him, it was supposed to be a teasing name she had given him, but it kind of stuck. He gave her a hard stare, unlike her Miguel who always gave her a soft look and a grin. She shook her head, realizing that her heart was hammering against her chest from the revelation, she looked him in the eye, ignoring the way the woman beside her side eyed her - Hobie was off to the side, just laying on the floor of the office, his guitar on his chest as he lightly strummed notes - "Where the hell am I?" She demanded, trying to avoid the fact that this man in front of her looked just like her crush from a few years or so ago. Miguel tilted his head, a smirk slowly forming on his lips. He was starting to like this version of Dawn.
