Krieger x Malory archer
Honestly, Malory didn't feel like she was asking for much in life, a decent martini, competent employees... None of which she received that morning.
So as the elevator opened to several people passed out on the floor not doing work it was safe to say she was unhappy. She narrowed her eyes at the mist drifting from one of the air vents and knew immediately who was to blame.
Malory made her way to Krieger's lab, slamming open the door. The man dropped whatever he was working on jumping up to face the intruder to his domain. In nothing but his underwear and lab coat. Which honestly wasn't surprising at this point.
"You're awake?- ummm liiike you should be of course!" He fumbled. "Good morning!"
"Why are all my agents unconscious?"
"I surely didn't have anything to do with that, I've been in my lab!"
She hadn't even had her second martini yet and she was dealing with this bullshit. She closed her eyes and sighed heavily.
"What have I said about office wide experiments?" She asked in a deceptively calm voice.
"Uhh not to hurt anyone?"
"not to do them in general!"
"It was an accident!" He defended. "I was working on a sedative and things got out of hand."
"How do you accidentally leak sedative in to the air ducts?"
"It isn't as hard as it seems!" He collected the device on the floor setting it back on the lab table. "Honest mistake."
"One that has happened multiple times. Yet you never learn."
She crossed her arms staring down the man before her not unlike a lioness stalking a gazelle. His gaze flicked rapidly around settling on the door behind her.
"Uhh-smoke bomb!"
Malory wasn't sure what compelled her to do what she did, perhaps it was the fact she was still sober, or the fact traffic had been absolutely dreadful that morning (leading to her being late) but whatever combination of factors, it had her catching Krieger by the scruff of his lab jacket rather than letting him run by. In a blur of motion she had him over a table, arm bent against his back.
"What the hell?!"
There was a ruler at that table as well, only good thing of that morning honestly, and she snatched it up ignoring Krieger's attempts to escape. She may have been older but she had much more experience than the defunct scientist. She flipped the lab coat up and pulled his briefs down to his knees.
"W-what are you- ah!"
She snapped the ruler down against the top of his thighs cutting him off. He went ridged. Another swat had him looking at her over his shoulder, eyes wide and full of disbelief and mouth a thin line of displeasure.
"I've told you too many times to count not to experiment on my agents." A smack to emphasize each word. "they have jobs to do and they can't very well do them when you are treating them as guinea pigs!"
"Ok! I get it!"
"No, I don't think you do."
Malory brought down the ruler in earnest, ignoring the man's crys and yelps. He had earned this multiple times over and she was determined to get that through his thick skull. He thrust his free hand back in an attempt to shield his ass.
"Hands out front Krieger."
"I'm sorry, ok?" He whimpered.
Malory shook her head slapping the ruler down on the upturned palm (with less force, she still needed him to be able to function in the office). He yipped drawing his hand back to blow on the red skin. Krieger sent a nasty glare her way, one which she met with her own, thoroughly unimpressed.
"I told you, hands out front." She said calmly bringing the ruler down in a steady rhythm.
It continued like this for a minute or so, Krieger having resigned himself to his fate after his hand being swatted. Never being one to hide, he was sniffling and crying openly, stomping his foot when the ruler made its way to his sit spots.
"No more experiments on my agents, Krieger. Understand?"
"Y-yup yup yup!" He supplied quickly.
The ruler smacked against the top of his thighs, a bit harder than the rest, just to make sure the point got across. By his tears she believed it did. She dropped the ruler to the ground, stepping away from Krieger and towards the door. He stood cautiously, face red and tear stained eyes fixed on the table.
"Look at me." He obeyed slowly, pouting fiercely and hands rubbing his sore rear. " If I ever catch you doing something like this again I promise what just happened will seem like a warm up in comparison. Are we clear?"
"Crystal." He muttered sullenly.
"Good."
Malory started for her office, stepping over Lana as she did so. She needed a drink. Her employees likely would be out for another hour or so. She had time to kill.
