Chapter 1
Newt put his bags down on the floor as he looked out of his window, it was his first year being a council at a summer camp, he went here a few years back and he really enjoyed it. He made so many new friends like for example Minho, they both went to this summer job together since Minho had nothing to do and newts parents forced him to have a summer job.
When he looked outside his cabin he saw allot of other people his age, councils.
They basically have to look after some kids for three weeks straight so they wouldn’t jump off a cliff or something.
Plus there’s teams in the camp. 12 of them. Each “team” had two councils. So newt hoped he would be with Minho. I mean newt isn’t the worst at meeting people he just wanted to spend time with Minho.
There was 3 bunk beds in their cabin, so that means that he would share a cabin with six people, one of them is Minho luckily.
It was around 8 am and some kids will arrive around 10 so he unpacked his stuff knowing that he wouldn’t have time after. There were some stuff here already so about 3 people already unpacked, he wonder who they were, or hopefully they wouldn’t be unfriendly or something.
He unpacked and Minho came into the cabin “ay it’s already 9 we should start to get ready” Minho said grabbing newt by the arm dragging him outside “wait already?” Newt said quite confused, has he been unpacking stuff for over an hour? Fuck.
“Yeah, hey I want to introduce you to someone!” Minho lead newt to a small tent with two people in it and two beds (in czech it works dont ask how)
There he saw a guy with something like a buzz cut, or like really short hair, funny eyebrows and a “angrier?” Sort of face expression
“This is gally we used to go here together before we met” Minho closed the tent behind them
“Hey” gally replied lighting a cigarette
“Hey?- woah man what if we get caught ??” Newt looked around even tho they were in the tent
“Chill man, nobody is here yet and nobody is gonna check on us jesus” gally laughed
“Great, so are we gonna get “fired” or “kicked out” soon from our summer job or what?” Newt mumbled to Minho
“Oh common you didn’t think I wouldn’t spice this whole experience for us did you?” Minho replied.

It was around 12 am and everyone arrived, all the cabins and tents were full, newt and Minho were in the same team together witch he was really happy about, and currently they were figuring out who tf was in the team with them,
“Okay so we’re team 11 and uhh, most people from cabin 4 and 2 plus a few people from the tent are with us aswell, uh let’s go find them i guess?” Newt looked over at some piece of paper.
“This shit is confusing as fuck man.” Minho leaned his head against the table in the dinning room, it looked old and it was quite big, nothing like american school cafeterias don’t even think about that type of shit.
“Let’s go” newt basically dragged Minho to the first cabin and went in, there were this was a guy cabin so ofcourse it stank in there .
“Fuck you speak” newt said to Minho.
“Uh? Are y’all in team 11?” Minho asked and got everyone’s attention
“I don’t know aren’t you supposed to tell that?” This one guy around 14 year old said jokingly and few people laughed quietly.
“Oh right.” Minho looked over at newt who was holding the paper with names on it.
“Uhh. Is daniel miles here?” The same guy raised his hand with a smirk
Newt read out a few other names as they left told them information that they will have a meeting at 3 pm at this one big tree near the cabin that like represents the whole camp.
They went to the girls cabin aswell and few other tents and then they were done.
“Fuck that was exhausting to say the least” Minho said
“It’s literally the first day here, you have another three weeks to go mate” newt laughed.
“Hey newt Minho!” Sonya newts sister called running towards them.
I forgot to mention that newts twin sister also had a job here, she had group 4 with Harriet her bestfriend. It’s pretty cool that most people know eachother here but I only know Sonya and Minho, well maybe I saw Harriet a few times and also met gally today.
“I got group 4 with Harriet!!!” Sonya said with excitement, Sonya was really extroverted, while newt didn’t mind being around people but also didn’t mind being alone at times, but to get this short Sonya was the talking type of person and newt listened allot.
“Anyways i met this girl named Brenda she’s actually really pretty, I think she has group 6 with gally.” Sonya said
“Over there” she pointed to a short haired brunette, with a white crop top she was wearing without a bra, well atleast he thought, a pair of black “longer” shorts and a pair of really old converse
She was talking to gally and this other guy with beautiful brown hair and a grey t-shirt, also with some black jeans and some black shoes. He looked really smash tbh.
And this was exactly the type of person newt wanted to meet here.
