Chapter 2
At summer camps everyone knows there’s one person in charge of the whole thing, and yes you could of guessed it. It was alby,
It was around 5pm and everyone was surrounded in their groups at a big tree, alby was saying some like “rules” or more like information.
Alby looked a little bit intimidating to be honest, but newt couldn’t stop staring at this one brunette guy he saw earlier. He had group six with some girl named teresa,
They had allot of older kids to be honest so if any competition happened during the camp they would probably win.
The whole thing was over and Minho started speaking to their group “okay so go to your cabins or be around the camp but do not exit to camp you got me? And also be at 7 oclock here on this same spot. 7:00pm is that clear??” Everyone agreed and went their ways, newt and minho started walking towards gally and Brenda
“Hey gally” minho and newt greeted them “hey, so happy for the group you got?” Gally said
“I mean yeah I guess we still don’t know them but they seem okay.” Newt said
“Yeah I literally feel bad for thomas and Teresa, I mean they have some of the oldest kids there, so I guess allot of trouble?” Brenda laughed.
“Yeah but i feel bad for Lizzie and Mel aswell they have the youngest kids there” Minho said as sonya and harriet came out of nowhere and Sonya started talking “nah common they’re cute I mean I wouldn’t mind having them to be honest, atleast no pre teens trying to be funny with their “jokes” or you know what I mean right?” Sonya looked over at group six
“Yeah but having the youngest ones means allot of fucking accidents like loosing a kid in the woods or it falling, or just some other shit, and plus they would loose every single game” gally argued in a joking way
“Common gally you really give a shit about the games?” Harriet laughed and most of the group did aswell
“No because you have a point with the loosing a kid in the woods thing, I mean kids never listen, it’s a nightmare looking after my little brother who’s 5” Minho pointed out
“Anyways I’ll get ready for dinner” Brenda and Harriet left ,
“Soo wanna have a look what’s for dinner??” Minho asked Sonya and newt as gally started to walk away to his tent aswell.
“Sure we got nothing better to do anyways.” Newt and Minho started walking towards the “building thing” (yk)
As sonya ran behind them
“Uhh it’s Monday right?” Sonya asked
“Yeah” newt replied
“Soo mash potato and beef with some sauce?” Minho said looking over at sonya and newt
“Idk it sounds pretty good tbh” newt replied
Newt was sitting near the fire place looking at, you guessed it the brunette again, when he saw Brenda talking to him and knowing he knew Brenda he thought he would start a conversation with Thomas, when he was about to get up Minho ran up to him
“Hey it’s 6:55 we should go over to the tree” Minho grabbed newt
“Okay I’m coming stop fucking dragging me everywhere” newt laughed
They walked up to the tree to see most of the people from his group there.
“Hey I’m gonna go get the rest” Minho said and jogged over to everyone’s cabins and tents
“Hey”
Newt heard a male voice say as he turned around to see thomas.
“Oh hey” newt tried to act casual
“So do I have something on my face or?” Thomas asked
Newt was really confused and asked “no why?”
“Because you keep staring at me so I thought there was something funny on me.” Thomas smirked as newt became a little bit redder, fuck did he actually notice and he has a point why was I staring at him like that Jesus newt.
Newt thought to himself.
“Oh I’m sorry I don’t know uh-“
“Nah it’s okay I take it as a compliment, so you think I’m attractive or something?” Thomas interrupted newts babbling about.
“What?” Newt looked at thomas with wide eyes, I mean it wasn’t visible but newt opened his eyes so wide when he heard that sentence
“I’m joking” Thomas laughed as teresa came up to the two and said “what harassing another person here?” Teresa laughed
“Newt I got them let’s go to dinner” Minho shouted
“Uh I gotta go but I’ll see you later” newt said walking away
“Okay let’s go” newt said to the group, it may have been the second time he actually spoke to the group, I mean minho did all the talking most of the times.
After dinner it was 7:30 and everyone had half an hour to get ready for a campfire.
Newt was in his cabin on his phone, after the whole day of not being on it, he was wayy too busy.
He checked his instagram and his messages, he got one from his mom saying
“Hey how is it going newt? Did you and Minho end up being in the same cabin? Or even better in the same group? And how’s Sonya I mean I texted her aswell but she never replies.
Text me when you have time love you”
Newt texted back
“Hey mom I’m sorry I couldn’t reply sooner i had a busy day to be honest but yes I’m with Minho in a cabin and also in the group, and so has great she’s with her friend and we all made friends aswell, it’s not that bad as I thought.”
Then he got a text from Minho, he added basically every counsel from this camp into one group,
He doesn’t even know how he managed to get everyone’s number but he didn’t even question it since he knew Minho.
Gigi : “hey?”
Mel: “Gigi don’t act stupid you know this is a camp group🏃🏽♀️.”
Gigi: “i know I just didn’t know what to say in here lmao”
Harriet: “minho you make instagram groups for literally everything.”
Minho: “I know i just thought it would be easier to contact everyone instead of running around like a headless chicken around camp saying where we should all meet and stuff, you’ll thank me later”
*seen by all*
Minho: “anyways because I’m the only one here doing his job, we’re supposed to meet at the campfire in half an hour so get your groups ready”
Thomas: “we all already know this..”

Newt laughed at the message and then he got a message from Thomas
“Hey wanna hang out after curfew?;)”
