Chapter 1!
Tony Stark lay in the cold embrace of Siberia, his chest caved in by Rogers' shield. He thought back to the Avengers and frowned; he never had a good memory with them. They weren't his teammates; they were selfish. He bet that they would recommend the murder tool Barnes, just like they did with the Hydra witch Wanda. For that moment, he felt deep hatred for Black Widow. It was all her fault. If she didn't write that bullshit assessment, then maybe he would have had a chance. Most likely not; Tony knew he had trampled on Rogers' ego when he brought Loki in, showing how inferior Rogers was in the 21st century. The man would need a divine miracle, like lifting Mjölnir, to be even remotely useful against what they were up against. Rogers was struggling against the Chitauri; the only time Tony struggled was when his suit was nearly out of power.
"There he is," Tony heard a voice that made his heart flutter. Then he saw her, Mikaela, his current girlfriend. He had gotten together with her after the events of Ultron when she was trying to find her mother. Her mother was a genius like Tony. She managed to create a device that allowed one to not only travel to the quantum realm but also manipulate it. Tony saw potential in that like unlimited sustaining energy. A power source that would make Wakanda primitive. She was captured by Hydra, but not just any random Hydra agent - it was Wanda Maximoff before she became the Hydra witch.
Mikaela had been out at the time when Wanda captured her mother, her unknown rival. Mikaela had powers - powers that would make any wizard or witch fear her, the power of anti-magic. Mikaela told Tony she had a destiny that would put her on the bad books of Steve Rogers and his crew. But Tony didn't care. He helped her find her mother from the Hydra agents. Mikaela's mother was like Pepper, a boss ass bitch. She had earned Tony's respect when she didn't give in to terrorists like he did. She also had immunity to Wanda's magic. This was because Mikaela, upon learning about a prophecy from an ancient being, put up protections on her mother, making her immune to her rival's abilities.
After meeting Mikaela, Tony had the idea to form a new Avenger initiative, especially after the Avengers added a known Hydra volunteer to the group. Even if he believed that she thought it was S.H.I.E.L.D. She had no excuses to work with Ultron. After all, she wanted him to self-destruct to bring down everything, including the Avengers, when she could have just killed him and prevented so much suffering, like Zemo's. But she was selfish, and her selfishness started Ultron - it was the catalyst.
"Shin, quick, over here, heal him," Tony heard Mikaela yell as Tony saw one of his and Rhodey's oldest friends from MIT, Shin Kemmochi, come. Shin was the heir to the hidden nation of Yamato, a place full of natural enhanced, Users of chakra. They were ninjas who practised chakra arts. Shin put his hand on Tony's chest, and his body shined green. The light died down, and Tony fell unconscious.
"Is he okay, Shin? Please tell me Tony is okay," Mikaela said worriedly.
.
"Don't worry, Kaela. He's fine. His body has just gone unconscious from rapidly healing itself since Tony isn't a practitioner of chakra," Shin said as Mikaela cradled Tony's head. This only made her angrier at Rogers and his crew. Tony had told each one of them how despicable the Avengers were, how they were leeches sucking him dry for his resources, knowledge, and time. He even joked about how when they didn't need him, they would leave him for dead when he wasn't useful. And from what Mikaela could see, he was right. Rogers found whatever he needed and decided Tony was too independent from him and tried to get rid of him. Probably left his shield so he could claim he thought her Tony was alive. Yes, he was alive, injured. How was he supposed to get home? Rogers intended for her Tony to freeze to death; that would be the loophole he exploited to claim that he didn't kill her Tony. That her Tony died due to hypothermia.
"Let's board him. Grog, pick him up and put him on my royal cruiser," Shin said as a giant weather monster, ten feet tall, came. He picked up Tony gently.
"Tony okay?" asked Grog worried. Grog is a massive alien, standing at an impressive 10 feet tall. He has a muscular physique that exudes strength and power. He was made out of weather. He is part of a race called the Weather Lords. A race of aliens that even Odin and Thanos fear. They are able to go from tangible to intangible. They have complete control of weather due to their Atmokinesis allowing them to control weather patterns and atmospheric conditions. He can manipulate wind, rain, lightning, and other natural elements. Grog possesses superhuman strength that surpasses even that of Thor. Even when tangible he is invulnerable making him nearly impervious to harm.
Grog met Tony when he crashed on Tony’s private island. (the same place Tony gave Bruce in She-Hulk) Tony and Grog's race imprints the first person they encounter from a different species as their caregiver. Tony was that person so Grog became Tony’s loyal friend. Grog would destroy the world for Tony and not even look back. Grog even though is a thousand years old is quite childlike even though he is intelligent. His race are childlike.
"He’s okay. Tired. Captain America did some numbers on him. Tony foolishly held back against Rogers due to his dad's brainwashing while trying to kill whoever else was with Rogers at that point in time," Shin said as Grog put Tony down.
"Grog, kill Captain America. Grog's friend Tony hurt because of Captain America," Grog yelled as the weather started to change. Lightning crackled in the air as it struck the nearby mountain base, blowing it up. Tornadoes started to form. Then it went from hot to cold. The earth started quaking as floods started to occur.
"Grog, calm down. Boss wouldn't want this. He wants to protect the world," Friday said through the coms. Grog hearing this stopped.
"Grog sorry," Grog said as he calmed down, and the tornadoes dissipated. The weather returned to normal.
"You're awfully quiet, Diana. That's your brother figure," Shin said as he looked around, not seeing her.
"Vikram, could you find her? I would look for her, but I need to make sure the cruiser is optimal for Tony," said Shin.
"Sure," Vikram said. Eventually, he found her in the Hydra base seeing her in anger and shock. Shocked, when he went to see what had shocked her, he was shocked.
"My god, Tony’s parents were murdered," he said silently in shock.
"It's not just that. Rogers definitely knew. That's his war buddy James Barnes there committing the murder," Diana Carter said cold deadly tone that would make Thanos shit bricks. Diana Carter was the daughter of Peggy and Peggy’s husband. She was neglected by her mother, and essentially disowned, all because her mother had feelings for both Rogers and her father. Her father, a simp, gave her to Maria Stark to be raised cause Peggy wanted that. It was from that day onwards Diana despised her biological family. Diana didnt even bat an eye when her biological father died or when her mother got Alzheimer nor did she go to their funerals. So, she had a brother bond with Tony. She despised Sharon Carter, who took the free time her mother had.
Diana possessed powers, powers that would make her a perfect assassin - powers that Natasha Romanoff fuck the Devil to have. Well, that wasn't a good analogy. Natasha would fuck anyone including a drunk for powers like hers or control in general. Diana possessed the power to become completely invisible to all senses and technology, making her virtually untrackable and unseeable. Her enemies had never seen, heard, smelled, tasted, or felt her coming. Even cameras and technology couldn't identify her. That's why she was known as the Ghost. She had taken down the remaining Ten Rings members after Tony escaped them. She also took down the rest of AIM. She was responsible for taking down the leaked Hydra agents during the data dump. Rogers and Romanoff really thought leaking them would be the end. She loved Tony like a brother and Maria like a mother. She didn't care about the abusive Captain America-loving asshole, Howard Stark.
But right now she was mad - no, she wasn't just mad; she was fuming. She would kill Barnes for this. Barnes had declared war against her, the Ghost. She was the most feared woman in the world. Her powers didn't stop at being invisible; she had the power to perceive weaknesses in both people and objects. But her ability became stronger when she was angry and truly desired to end someone's life. It enabled her to identify these vulnerable points - what could be called "kill spots." These spots were unique for everyone and, if pierced through or stabbed, would instantly mean the person's demise. And right now, she wanted to kill, no, erase Barnes from existence. There was nobody, nothing that could stop this from happening.
"Let's go. I want to find out what happened to Tony," she said as Vikram nodded.
"I will bring the evidence," he said as Diana nodded. She already knew where Team Cap was based on what Friday had told her. While Tony didn't sense T’Challa, Friday did using the sensors on the Iron Man suit when T’Challa captured Zemo. From that information and the information that Barnes and Rogers aren't here but the stolen Quinjet is still here, Diana, who also had enhanced brain processing speed, knew that Barnes and Rogers were residing in Wakanda currently. She had already figured out over a million ways to destroy Wakanda alone. She could easily get in, undetected - she was invisible to senses and technology. Taking out their little vibranium stash would be the catalyst for its fall.
Both Diana and Vikram made it to the royal cruiser. As they sat, Vikram told the rest what they saw. Understandably the team were mad. Shin turned to Diana.
"How are you feeling?" he asked, a bit scared. He knew that even Yamato, a ninja nation full of chakra users, would fall if Diana wanted them destroyed. They would be attacked by a foe they couldn't touch, feel, hear, smell, or taste coming.
"I'm planning. Planning the death of Barnes and all who supported him. Well, apart from Rogers. My brother will have the pleasure to end him, and Maximoff too. That's Mikaela's destiny," said Diana.
"Shin," Vikram said, and Shin looked at Vikram. Vikram was an Indian archer blessed by the Indian god Arjuna. He had the power to never miss a shot. Even if he shot an arrow towards the ground, he would hit his desired target. He also could create a magic bow that shot magic arrows with elemental properties. He had god-level strength. Shin and the group met him through Happy Hogan; he was Happy Hogan's best friend when he came to study in America.
“Yeah, Vik,” Shin asked.
“I'm gonna relax in my room for the trip. Tell me if something comes up or if Tony wakes up,” Vikram said as Shin nodded. The royal cruiser had everything a kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, living room and more it was basically a flying 5-star hotel.
Eventually, they arrived at Yamato. It was beautiful; the air was clean, and the water was in its purest form. They walked and saw chakra metal – a metal that could be used to fulfill any desire of the user by implanting chakra into the metal. This chakra-infused metal contained mental commands that dictated what the user wanted the metal to do. Once the chakra was infused in the metal, due to the metal's properties, it became self-sustaining. Once that happened, the user could use the metal to achieve many things.
As they walked, Mikaela looked and saw a monument that contained over a hundred heads. Shin noticed her gaze.
"That monument has the heads of the leaders of our nation engraved on it," Shin said with pride.
"It's beautiful," Mikaela said, and Shin agreed. She then looked around to see houses made of chakra metal. She saw battlegrounds with different terrains - forests, modern cities, mountains, caves, volcanoes, and more.
She saw children practicing with elemental swords, moving at high speed and creating clones. She raised her eyebrows at Shin when she saw this.
"Our nation trains our children who want to join the army from a young age. There's an academy where they learn the basics of swordplay and chakra molding. Then there's middle school, where they learn basic techniques, and high school, where they learn advanced techniques, how to enhance their bodies with chakra, and silent assassination techniques - of course, not as undetectable as Diana," Shin said.
"I see, that's amazing. Your nation is different from the world, but it feels like a fresh take," Mikaela said, as they made their way to Shin's house.
"My country has never had a power struggle in its history. My people trust my family and the current shogun, otherwise known as my dad, to have the best for them at heart. We can feel the mind, so we will know if someone is controlling the royal family or the shogun. With our sage mode, we can sense who and kill them, freeing our leader," said Shin.
"That's good," Diana said, interjecting. "You told me the sage mode is reserved for your family only. Could you use it to track down anyone?" Diana asked.
"Yes but some of our trusted individuals are also taught it, it would be easy to track someone down using sage mode. I just need an item said person used," Shin said.
"I see. We have Captain America's shield. I want you to confirm if he's still in Wakanda," said Diana.
"Cool. I will do it later. We need to get Tony to a bed first," Shin said, as Diana nodded. When they arrived, Shin greeted his father and introduced them to the team. Shin's father accepted Tony's friends. Shin then took Tony to the room that had been prepared for him and Mikaela. He watched as Mikaela hugged Tony's head and fell asleep. He smiled as he walked away.
A few days passed, and Tony woke up…
