The beginning
It all started when Honey Lemon decided to take a trip to Mexico to see her relatives and thaught it would be a good idea to drag her friends along with her
They had made it to the airport surprisingly unscathed but the same could not be said for once they had gotten there Hiro had to help Wasabi hold Gogo back from murdering Fred for enoying her while Honey Lemon was searching for places for them to stay at
"Listen here you Little nit wit I can't be bothered to deal with you crap right now." She warned
"Gogo please calm down." Hiro said
"How can I when he keeps going on about the most stupid ideas?" She huffed and sussed down in one of the chairs beside the younger boy and rested her elbow on his head
Wasabi had grabbed Fred's arm before he could enoy the woman even more than he already had and sat on the other side of Honey Lemon
"And done we are staying at a hotel that is only a couple minutes away from my family's home." Honey Lemon said turning off her phone and placing it in the bag that hung over her shoulder
A couple minutes of waiting and Gogo was getting sick of it she was exhausted and hadn't slept since they got on the plane because of the people behinde her
"That's it." She scowled standing up and shaking her legs of a bit "I can't deal with this anymore can we please just go now?"
Hiro was sat beside Gogo on the plane so he felt her pain though he had been awake much longer than she had he hadn't slept since the day before due to having to finish a project that had to be handed in as soon as he possibly could
"Sorry Gogo but I promised my family that we would meet them here." The other woman said with her brows frowned
Hiro was about to fall asleep when he jolted himself awake "Hey Gogo?"
"Mhm?"
"Would you like to go to one of the little shop areas or whatever and see if they sell coffee?"
She smiled and nodded standing up with a stretch she reached her hand out for him to grab which he gladly took standing up with the other
"We'll be back in a sec." Gogo reassured the trio "Want anything?"
"No I'll be fine." Honey Lemon said with a shake of her head
"Can you get me some baby wipes I have no idea weather the place we are supposed to be staying in is completely clean or not." Wasabi said
"Comic books if there is any." Fred added to the order "Any will do just to keep me bust while we wait for Honey's family to show."
The two nodded and with that they were of to the shop in the airport
While the two were gone "EEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKK!!!" Honey Lemon let out a high pitched squeeze of excitement as she saw the group approach them
A high pitch squeel could be heard from in a completely other dimension as the family approach a girl they hadn't seen in 5 years
Miguel along with Rosa and Able was amidiately engulfed in a bone crushing hug
"Dois mio it's been so long you three have gotten so big especially you Miguel." (My god) She smiled happily
Miguel was released from the girls grip he noticed that two people seemed to be missing
"Aiko I thaught you said 4 people on the phone." His mother pointed out
"Well you see they went to go get some coffee from the shop." She explained "They were sat in front of really indecent people on the plane."
"pendejos." (Assholes) Rosa muttered under her breath luckily for her her parents nor grandparents heard
"Oh, oh this is perfect one of the ones who isn't here is around your age actually Miguel 2 years older but still I think you two could get along." She looks at Miguel and smiles
"Really?"
"Mhm." She confirms with a nod of her head
"Who are your friends, like what are their names?" Able asked
"Oh right this is Fredrick." She answered gesturing towards a man in a teal beanie light brown hair poking out form both the front and back a long sleeved white baggy shirt beneath a short sleeved red that had some sort of comic book monster on it darkish green cargo shorts and white trainers and lime green strings
"And this is Wanjohi." She says gesturing to the other he had dark brown hair styled in dread locks a green jumper with orangey yellowey squares going round the upper part of it a white shirt beneath it, black sweat pants and dark greyish blackish shoes
"Nice to meet you." Wanjohi greeted
"Nice to meet you to." The family said back in unison
"Would you speak of the devils." Wanjohi said and face palmed
"Oh haha very funny." A woman said sarcastically
The woman had black somewhat messy hair with purple strikes in the front of her hair, dark brown eyes, purple eyeshadow, light purpley pink lip stick, she wore a black cropped leather jacket rolled up at the sleeves, black leather gloves with a purple and white bracelet on one of her wrists, white shirt, black shorts with a slit in the side along with red going down the sides of them, dark grey ripped leggings with purple showing through said rips and black trainers with purplish blue on the bottom of them and she was holding what looked like a coffee cup
She was walking with a short boy he had messy black hair, big brown almond shaped eyes with thick eyelashes and eyebrows, he wore a blue zip up hoodie, a red shirt much like the one that Fredrick wore, light brown cargo capris and what seemed to be brownish redish converse trainers with yellow laces he was also holding a coffee cup as well as a bag in each hand
One thing the duo shared in common was the fact that they were pale and had black circles under their eyes though they seemed to be like siblings
Their conversation could be heard as they approached
"-You Little rat." The woman said
"What did I do?" The younger questioned looking confused at the other
"You know exactly what you did." She said
"I have no idea what your talking about." He said with a shrug of his shoulders
"There you two are!" Aiko exclaimed
"Here you go." The boy said handing the bag to Wanjohi
"Thanks you two." He replied with a nod
"No probs." The woman replied
"This is Leiko." Aiko introduced
"Hey." The woman said with a pop of her gum
"And this is Hiro the one that I told you about and Hiro this is Miguel." His cousin smiled placing her hands on the boy's shoulders and gave him a gentle push towards him
"Hi." The boy kept his arms to his side (minus the one that was holding the cup) but give them a little wave and smiled awkwardly revealing the gap between his front two teeth
Miguel's eyes widened one thaught came to mind 'cute' "Hi" He replied back
"Anyway I think we should be of." Fredrick said
"Why?" Aiko questioned
"Oh just the fact that Gogo looks like she is going to murder me in my sleep." He said sounding like he was about to cry
"He has a point there." Leiko nodded "I am going to murder him in his sleep if I don't get any." She said through gritted teeth
Aiko nodded and turned to her family "Sorry to cut the reunion short but it's not like this'll be the last time we see each other." She says
"Akio can we talk to you for a moment?" Her abuela asked and the girl nodded in reply
The girl followed her family round the corner
"Do you know el Día de los Muertos (the day of the dead) is coming up and we wanted to know if you and your friends would care to join us." Her abuela said
"Oh dois mio (My god) that would be great." Aiko smiled happily
Her abuela nodded "We have come a long way estimado (dear) we are getting better with the whole hating music thing and we ant to make it up to you for everything and if that means inviting you and your friends to el Día de los Muertos than so be it." She said
"Are you positive?" Aiko asked unsure
"Si, si (yes, yes) now on your way with you." The older woman said shooing her back with her friends
"Okay, okay." The younger laughed "gracias abuela (thanks grandma)." She said and with that her and her group of friends were of.
