The day after
As soon as the group of friends had gotten to the hotel room both Gogo and Hiro were straight in the shower and then as soon as their heads hit their pillow they were out like lights
"We should take Baymax out of the luggage bag." Honey said
"Yeah I honestly don't believe him when he says that he could breath in there." Wasabi added
"As Gogo would say 'Oh woman up and help me get him out of there'." She laughed unzipping the bag and pulling the red one out "Now I'm going to open him here and put his charging port in Hiro's room." She said setting the red port down
And as if on cue
"Ow!" Along with a loud bang was heard causing both Honey and Wasabi to flinch and Baymax to inflate like a balloon and walk to where the sounds had come from Honey Lemon and Wasabi following behind him
"Hello I am Baymax on a scale of one to ten how bad is your pain?" The robot questioned Fred
Who just looked up at him from where he had tripped over one of the luggage bags they had brought with them
"I'm going to say about a five." He replied as he rose to his feet
"Is everything alright?" Hiro said as he ran into the room where the four of them were
"Yes everything is fine Hiro go back to sleep." Wasabi reassured walking up to him and placing his hand on the younger boys shoulder "Fred just tripped over one of the bags." He added
Hiro nodded "I'll go back in a second." He replied and Wasabi just nodded in reply
"Just don't make a habit of turning your days into nights." The man warned
"It seems that you will have a bruised knee but apart from that you will be fine." Baymax said "I will recomend you to use the following:
Ice therapy: Ice therapy is used to reduce blood flow around the area. Cooling the blood vessels can reduce the amount of blood that leaks into the surrounding tissue. This can prevent the bruise from being as apparent and reduce swelling.
You can use a reusable ice pack, a bag of ice, or a bag of frozen vegetables wrapped in a cloth or towel. Ice the bruise for 10 minutes at a time. Wait 20 minutes before reapplying
Heat therapy: Heat therapy is used to boost circulation and increase blood flow. This will help to clear away the trapped blood after the bruise has already formed. Applying heat can also help to loosen tense muscles and relieve pain. You can use a heating pad or a hot water bottle. Soaking in a hot bath is another option,
Compression: If you wrap the bruised area in an elastic bandage. This will squeeze the tissues and help prevent blood vessels from leaking. Using compression can lessen the severity of the bruise and help to reduce pain and swelling,
Elevation: Elevate the bruised area so that it’s above the heart. This helps to relieve pain and drain fluid away from the bruised area. Elevation can also reduce pressure and compression. This gives you the perfect chance to rest and relax, which can also help the healing process.
Arnica: A homeopathic herb that is said to reduce inflammation and swelling, thus making it an ideal treatment for bruising. A 2010 studyTrusted Source found that topical arnica ointment effectively reduced laser-induced bruising. You can use an arnica ointment or gel on the bruise a few times per day.
These are only a few of the ways you can reduce the swelling and help the bruising if any of the previous stuff is no help than I will be happy to give you more suggestions on what could help." The robot explained as he forced Fred to sit with his leg elevated and place an ice pack on the bruised knee
"Thanks Baymax." He smiled at the robot
"No problem." Baymax replied and then turned to Hiro "You all should get some sleep at some point my scanning had detected the fact that one of you hasn't been asleep since recently but hasn't slept since two nights ago." He picked Hiro up bridal style
"Baymax please put me down." The 14 year old said
The robot shook his head and carried him into the bedroom
"Here we'll leave the TV on for you." Wasabi said tuning the TV on and handing him the remote
"Thanks." He grind taking the remote
And with that the group was asleep
♤~Meanwhile~♤
Miguel and his family had already went to bed that was after having a conversation about how they feel about Aiko's friends
"They seem like nice people." Luisa smiled
"Yeah but just because they seem it doesn't mean they actually are I was getting the feeling that they are hiding something from us." Elena replied
"Mama they are Aiko's friends if she trusts them then I'm sure they are to be trusted." Enrique Rivera scolded
"Yeah no I'm with abuela on this one they are hiding something." Rosa said as she entered the kitchen where the adults were all gathered
"Esta es una conversación de adultos, señorita, deja de escuchar." (This is an adult convocation missy stop listening in.) Carmen scolded
"lo siento madre." (Sorry mother) She apologised
"I agree with both of you yes they are nice but I feel like something has happened or something is going to happen." Miguel nodded as he joined the conversation
"Dois mío not you to." Luisa face palmed "a la cama ahora los dos." (Up to bed now both of you.) She ordered
"Si madre/tia." (Yes mother/aunt) The two said in unison befor heading up the stairs
"Don't think your gonna get away either." Rosa said looking at her cousing with a knowing look
"What are you taking about?" Miguel questioned confused
"Don't think I didn't see the way you looked at that boy what was his name?" She stopped half way up the stairs and tapped her chin with her finger "Hiro I think it was!"
"Si that's right but you must be loca if you think I like him." (Insane) Miguel shook hid head "We don't even know each other well enough to like each other."
"Yeah, yeah well if you don't want him primo I wouldn't mind taking him of your hands for yo-"
"I never said that." Miguel interrupted
Rosa just burst out laughing
"Bed you two!" They heard their abuela shout up the stairs and with that the two ran up the stairs
♤~The next day~♤
Miguel woke up before the rest of his family giving him time to have a little wander about the streets
And that is just what he did when he remembered where his prima and her friends were staying and decided to pay them a visit before the rest of his family woke up and dragged him back to his job at the shoe shop even though they now accepted music they had to make money somehow so they kept the business up and running
He took a deep breath before opening the doors to the hotel and walking up to the front desk
Once he had gotten what room they were in he made it to the floor that they were on and made sure that it what the correct door before knocking on the door
Meanwhile behind said door was 5 sleeping hero's and 1 wide awake and fully charged robot that was waiting for his friends to wake up when he heard a knock at the door
Said knock also caused Hiro to wake up as well as Honey Lemon, Gogo and Wasabi who were sort of light sleepers since the whole saving people became a thing as it came to them that they had to be read for anything at anytime
Hiro's eyes opened slowly but not slow enough for Baymax ro make it out the room before he had been stopped by Hiro
"Baymax what are you doing?" He asked tiredly as he rubbed his eye with his wrist
"Answering the door." The marshmallowy robot explained
"No, no, no you can't do that." He scolded
"Why?"
"Because people might freak out, not every part of the world I'd full to the brim of tech like San Fransokyo, so it may cause some people to freak out if they see you." He explained as he frantically go dressed
"Yes but everyone else is asleep." Baymax replied
A knock at the door
"Come in!" Hiro called as he started to put his trainers on
"Was asleep." A female voice corrected as the door opened
The two looked towards the door to find a fully dressed Honey Lemon
"Sorry if we woke you." Hiro apologised as he finished putting his trainers on and reached out for his hoodie
"Nah it wasn't you two it was whoever knocked on the door Gogo and Wasabi are already up and ready by the way." The woman explained
"That makes sense." He nodded as he put his hoodie over his shoulders "Still we should have at least been quiter while talking." He added
"Don't worry about it pip squeak." Gogo added as she joined Honey Lemon leaning on the door frame with her arms crossed
"You seem to be in a better mood." Hiro pointed out
"By my calculations that would be because of the fact that she has slept more today than she did yesterday." Baymax said pointing his finger upwards
"You got that right." Gogo agreed with a nod of her head
Another knock at the door
"Alright, alright I'm coming!" Gogo scowled as she stormed towards the door
"Um Hiro." Wasabi said as he passed the younger ones room
"Yeah?"
"Baymax."
"Crap." He exclaimed
The hotel door was half way open as he ushered Baymax into a part of the room that he knew the robot wouldn't be seen
"Ok I'm going to need you to stay here is that alright with you?" Hiro asked in a whisper
"Yes I will be fine in here." Baymax confirmed with a nod
"Good." Hiro said "I'll be back in a little while and tell you if we are going to leave or anything like that." He added as he slowly backed away from the robot who nodded in response
~Outside Hiro's room~
"Miguel was it?" Leiko questioned with a raise of her brow as she lent against the door frame with her arms crossed
"Yeah." Miguel nodded
"Do you useually get up at this time?" She asked
"Yes ma'am." He's smiled
"Well you'd better stop pip squeak." She glared
"Gogo be nice." His cousin scolded as she placed a hand on the other woman's shoulder "Come on in Miguel Fred is still asleep on one of the couches right now but we'll get him up soon." She added
"Gogo?" He questioned as he walked in after the two
"Nickname." Leiko replied
"Yeah we all have one well minus Hiro but his name speaks for itself." Aiko shrugged as she sat down in one of the chairs
Seat order:
There are three couches two on either side of the TV and one right in front of it (the one that Fred is sleeping on)
Seating plan thing:
Honey is sat beside Gogo on one couch and Miguel is sat on the one on the other side of the TV of the one that Honey and Gogo are sat in
"Leiko's is Gogo, Wanjohi is Wasabi, Fredrick is Fred and mine is Honey Lemon." Aiko explained
"Does Hiro have one?" Miguel asked
"No but we call him all sorts." Wanjohi replied as he entered the room
"Mhm." Leiko nodded in agreement "Speak of the devil."
"Oh ha ha very funny bubblegum girl." The teen said "Hi Miguel." He smiled
"Hey." He smiled back
"How is he still asleep?" Hiro questioned as he walked over to look at Fredrick
"Honestly I don't know why we should be supeised at this point this idiot will sleep though an entire earthquake given the chance to." Leiko scowled as she stood up slapping the man in the face gently twice "He's out cold." She said
"Fred." Wasabi said gently as he walked over beside Hiro and gently shook Fred who shot up
"WHAT HAPPENED!" He yelled
"Christ all mighty." Hiro said covering his ears
"Yeah take our ears off why don't you." Leiko complained as she rubbed her ears
Then the sound of foot step came from one of the rooms
"Oh god damn it." Hiro exclaimed as he ran into said room
"What's that about?" Miguel asked confused
"Don't worry about it he just has to sort something out." Aiko explained "Anyway......"
~Meanwhile in Hiro's room ~
Hiro opened the door and shut it as normal as he could when he turned his head he had come face to face with the marshmallowy robot
"GAH!" He yelped out of suprise Yes he knew that Baymax was on his way out the door he didn't think he was that close "God Baymax don't do that you almost gave me a heart attack." He said letting out a breath
"That was just an expression?" He questioned
"Mhm yes it was." Hiro nodded "You can't go out there though." He added more firmly
"Someone is hurt though." He said confused as to why the teenager didn't want him to help
"No one if actually hurt that was just Fred waking up there is nothing to worry about." He said softly
"I see why did he yell though?"
"He just probably had a bad dream or something that's all like whenever aunt Cass wakes me up whenever I have a bad dream and I yell most of the time random things." He explained
The robot nodded in reply
"Yeah but I am going to need you to stay in here no matter what ok?" He asked
"Ok." Baymax replied
"Even if you hear someone get hurt or you think someone has gotten hurt." He added
"Helping people is what I am programmed to do." Baymax said tilting his head to the side
"Yes I know but as I said before people in San Fransokyo are used to seeing you but people here aren't they don't have as much tech here than they do there so they may freak out a bit when seeing you." He said with his brows frowned
Hiro felt absolutely horrible for saying that to Baymax he was the closest and the last thing he had of his brother and Baymax was one of the most sweetest thing you could ever meet
"I understand." The robot nodded "But if anything happens to you, Gogo, Wasabi, Fred or Honey Lemon I will come to get you." He added
"Thank you." He smiled gratefully and hugged the other
Baymax hugged him back his arms wrapped tightly but still gently around him
"I should get going I'll see you when I get back ok?" Hiro said pulling away from the hug
"Ok." The robot confirmed going back to the spot he was last
Hiro left the bedroom shutting the door with a sigh
"Hiro!" Fred said happily
"We are going on a walk around you know to see what it's like considering the fact that there are only two days until the day of the dead and we are going to have to know where to go and what to do while we are there." Honey Lemon explained
"Fair enough." Hiro said smiling at her
She smiled back.
