Summary
Obake survived the explosion from the Star and the destruction of his lab that he and to some degree Hiro made. He was never found when Hiro and Baymax searched in the wreckage. So everyone, even Noodle Burger Boy and Trina, thinks that he is dead. This is before the fake Liv also known as Die shows up so she is not in this. And though Obake is still very intelligent and still acts like before this time he will stop at nothing to make the star, make Hiro become his apprentice, and destroy San Fransokyo along with their precious Big Hero 6.

Confrontation

Maybe looking for answers at any cost wasn't the best plan, but he was all in now.

After Hiro dozed off and was back in the void all he heard was talking. People talking nonsense, like utter nonsense that you would hear in a crowded city.

He kept seeing explosions and things that had already happened, Obake in his lab, the stares from his classmates after the near end of the world, the sudden bullies that targeted him. Calling him a 'villain' and 'monster for destroying their school'. If only they knew the full story. Though the worst had to be the pitting looks from his close friends.

But the weirdest thing that really caught his attention was Obake with Baymax. The setting being Obake's lab on the brink of collapse. Though this didn't seem strange at first, Hiro didn't remember this ever happening. And trust him, he remembers everything from those days.

Obake seemed to be talking but it was to quiet to make out what. It looked as though he put his dreams on mute. Cool I guess, yet annoying.

Then Hiro heard the buzzing of an alarm and some one's voice faintly saying, “-iro… W-ke… I-s t-me.” It was a woman's voice.  While it sounded so familiar, he couldn't quite make it out. Then blank once more.

Hiro suddenly shot up to the sight of his Aunt Cass looking at him worriedly along with Baymax right beside her with an alarm going off labeled "Team Meeting at Fred's".

'Huh, that's weird, was it morning already?' Hiro thought as he stood from his chair, then noticed his Aunt looking between him and his conspiracy wall. He got up and frantically covered the wall, he looked back at Aunt Cass who looked at him with confusion and fear of wanting a straight answer.

Hiro looked at her trying to come up with an excuse. So he said the only thing that came to mind, “Oh ah this, this is just-ah, a-a-a, game! A game that my friends and I are playing! Yes, see Fred gave us a mystery and we have to piece together the evidence that we are given.” He had a worried smile though luckily this explanation was suitable for his Aunt. At the moment.

He then saw how she looked at Baymax and the thing labeled 'Team Meeting' and turned back to Hiro for an explanation for that.

“That, um, that is just what we call our group. Ya know we're a team! And today we're just meeting up at Fred's to see how far we have gotten in the puzzle.”

While it was clear that he was nervous but Aunt Cass just smiled and said back, “Well don't be out too late, tonight's movie night! And make sure you get plenty of sleep afterward your eyes look awful.” With a hug, Hiro and Baymax left the Lucky Cat Café that they called home and made their way to Fred's mansion.

Although what was waiting for them would be something not even a robot could expect.

Elsewhere:  Obake was back on his feet and ready to make his dreams into reality. Momakase was just standing back, preparing her perfect cuisine while staying out of this mental man's way while he worked.

Obake seemed angry though he was a so called "villain" so it was understandable she guessed. But this type of anger was something else, he seemed upset and almost surprised that Hiro had betrayed him even though the boy out-right refused him many times.

While it did look like Obake was just stamping around, tossing random papers and broken machine parts. He did come up with brilliant plans. But alas with the limited supplies and no money to boot, these formulas were so far in vain.

Obake went through a broken computer that Momokase had managed to save to try to see if any plans had survived. So far to no avail but he always had a back-up plan. He was not going to give up this time… this time. His memory was still foggy and he didn't quite remember his full conversation with Baymax before his lab fell. Or really anything after that until he woke up.

Momakase left her spot in the kitchen and made her way over to Obake with freshly cooked and dressed salmon. Obake didn't even bat an eye though this was kind of to be expected. Momakase was about to turn around and leave much to her annoyance of being ignored though something stopped her.

“How do you suggest I get revenge on Big Hero 6,” Obake stated without turning to meet her eyes.

Momkase just stood there a little dumbfounded. When had an evil genius ever wanted her input? Especially this one, she's seen her fair share of criminals but this one was different. Though she finally did respond with, “I have many ways, although what about getting your little genius back since you care for the boy so much.” And it was the truth, Momakase has had plenty of time to come up with plans of revenge on the goody-two-shoe "heroes". Though they may be a but to graphic for Obake's liking.

Obake stood there before turning to her and what he said next would send a chill down anyone's spine. He looked at her, the so-called nightlight in his face had grown to his left ear and the bottom of his chin and it was glowing a slightly brighter purple than before, “Not to worry, I have already made my move on the young boy, he will seek me out sometime soon for answers. And no one would likely follow because my poor boy thinks that in doing so would put them in danger.” He smirked, his voice cold yet somehow upbeat. And looked back at the cracked yet running screen filled with documents.

Momakase stood there for a couple of seconds before going back to her place in the kitchen. She had no idea how he could have possibly done something to the boy. What with him still being injured and it only being about a day and half since he awoke. Nonetheless it was not her place to judge, as long as she can get some revenge and somehow get paid, then well, everyone was happy.

Back with our Heroes: Hiro was now back at Fred’s house, Baymax was playing with Minimax and the rest were going over reports from criminal attacks, and trying to find any evidence that may help them track down Noodle Burger Boy and possibly Trina. On the off chance that she had survived as well.

Hiro wasn't that into it, he was tired and it was obvious. He knew his friends were really worried about him. Though he wished they would just leave it be and let him figure his own problems out. "Yes, that's the right thing to do... Hiro."  He thought, though the voice didn't seem like his own. No matter, there are more important things to think about than just some paranoia.

After a bit an awkward silence befell the room. At this point GoGo had had enough, she knew that Hiro was just making excuses and she was tired of that dummy keeping his big brain thoughts to himself. Something was up and she knew the team wanted to get to the bottom of it no matter what it took to convince him.

GoGo sat up from the couch in Fred’s room and went over to the chair that Hiro was in, he looked awful. His eyes were droopy, his hair was even more of a mess than usual, and he looked so dead inside.

Then without warning, there was a SMACK! Hiro looked up in a heartbeat to see GoGo with a broken ruler in hand and the other piece laying on the table next to him. Sure it was a little dramatic and a bit mean, but she wanted answers.

Hiro looked up at her in shock and annoyance, wondering why GoGo would do such a thing, but did not dare to protest.

“Alright brainiac, something is bothering you and you are going to tell us what.”

Without a second thought, Hiro just stood up and booked it to the exit of Fred’s room. He heard a shout of protest, or was it surprise? From someone but without any other option; he went to the first closet he found and hid inside.

"Why am I hiding? These are my friends for science sake!" He thought, backing away to the far corner of the, frankly large closet. With enough space for him to be about 2 feet from the door. "I trust them, so why can't just I tell them!"  Hiro didn't know what to think anymore, he was tired and for some reason scared. So he stayed in that closet with a speckle of silent tears in his eyes.

Back with everyone left in Fred's room, they were just in shock, no-one said a word since Honey-Lemon's shout. But this did confirm their suspicions. Something was definitely up. They all looked to each other and nodded, running to follow him. Hoping to find their tiny leader and make sure he was okay.

Gogo was not having any sympathy for Hiro, sure she may have been a but rough. But they needed answers and they should know by now that their boy-genius was too stubborn to let his emotions go.

Hiro was in a fetal position slowly rocking back and forth. He didn't want his team to worry but at the same time he wanted to tell them everything. Though he felt like he would be putting them in danger and that this was his path alone.

In his, frankly darkening, train of thought, he didn't seem to notice the closet door silently opening, or Fred standing above him with a sympathetic look on his face.

For some, god knows what reason, Hiro was scared. He couldn't recognize Fred's thin frame in the darkened room. Even when Fred had a small flashlight up close to his face since he knew the closet's new lightbulbs didn't arrive yet.

By looking at him, Hiro could only think that it was Obake. And before Fred could voice his worry, Hiro let out a terrified, bloodcurdling scream.

Fred just stood there in shock and backed up a bit before everyone else finally caught up to see Hiro on the floor, arms over his head and tears down his face.

"What did you do to him!" GoGo shouted with pent up anger.

"Nothing! I swear! I just opened the door, walk a bit towards him, and he screamed!" Fred retorted, "It was like I was a Kaiju or something."

"Maybe not a Kaiju" Wasabi said with a thoughtful yet worrisome look.

“Hey kid!” GoGo said a little too harshly. Hiro's response only coming out as a slight whimper, tears flowing from his sealed eyes. GoGo was now even more worried. She looked back to her friends who all gave a worried and lost gaze.

Suddenly Baymax came forward and squeezed into the closet towards his personal patient. Hiro's cries softening slightly as Baymax sat down as much as he could to wrap his arms around the frightened boy. He played a soft melody and turned on his heating pads.

As Hiro calmed down he finally looked up to see the worried stares of his best friend. 'To hell with his morals' he thought, 'These are my friends, my strong loyal friends, and they deserve to know.'
