Summary
Obake survived the explosion from the Star and the destruction of his lab that he and to some degree Hiro made. He was never found when Hiro and Baymax searched in the wreckage. So everyone, even Noodle Burger Boy and Trina, thinks that he is dead. This is before the fake Liv also known as Die shows up so she is not in this. And though Obake is still very intelligent and still acts like before this time he will stop at nothing to make the star, make Hiro become his apprentice, and destroy San Fransokyo along with their precious Big Hero 6.

Little Help from a Friend

The team suits up and heads to the Noodle Burger, the last sighting of Noodle Burger Boy. Although even Fred could be able to tell that something was off with the team, they seemed as emotionless as GoGo usually is, even Honey Lemon was not her usual cheerful self.

When they got to the location it seemed quieter than they had originally anticipated. Although there was a constant song playing in the distance that the gang knew all too well, “ I’d do anything for a Noodle Burger! A Noodle Burgers awfully swell!” They knew that they were in the right place now; they had to make a choice, charge into the source of the music or wait for it to come to them.

There was an awkward silence while they were waiting, they were all on guard but the tension was getting to everyone. Some of them tried to hide their worry but then Gogo came out of nowhere and said, “Hey genius, what's on your mind?”

There was hesitation in Hiro’s voice that anyone could notice. “N-nothing!” It was obvious that he was lying, which made everyone a little more worried. “I-its just I uh,  didn't get a really good nights sleep! Yeah that's all!.”

Before he could make up more excuses the music became louder, Noodle Burger Boy was coming and they couldn't stall any longer.

Elsewhere : “Argh, whe-where am I?” Obake had a bandage wrapped around the left side of his head. He was apparently in a small room with little light and loud noises coming from the wall behind him.

“Up yet Sleeping Beauty?” Obake sat up and turned to his right only to see Momakase sitting on a steel bench, sharpening her blades.

“What happened?” Obake was in pain but he was furious about his plan failing and confused on how he survived, “Where's Hiro?!” Was all he could say.

Momakase looked at the man with little to no sympathy and just stated, “Your little brat ruined the plan, he destroyed your base, and left you for dead.”

He started to remember but it was still a little blurry, “And my equipment?” He demanded with some hope that at least some of his blueprints survived.

“Gone, I managed to get you out along with some scrap that may be useful.” She said with a bored expression, “But I don’t think anything would be of much help.”

He looked down, he was furious. He needed a new plan, but how could he get his student back and achieve his goals? And what about his so-called “Children”? He may be labeled a “villain” but he is far from heartless.

“Why did you save me?” Obake had a very curious look on his face like a child on a trip to somewhere new, just not as kind.

Momakase just gave him a smirk and stated, “You haven't paid me yet for my troubles, and I want revenge on that little brat that defeated me with my own blades.” She had a venomous glint in her eyes, “And that disgusting blob for helping the boy escape.”

Obake just looked at her, he wanted his student unharmed; he knew that all Hiro needed was his guidance. And the blob, he knew he should have never trusted that freak but that is a thought for later.

Though the truth was he needed Hiro for much more than his talent he needed him because Hiro reminded Obake of himself in more ways than one. He truly believes that Hiro is being convinced that he needs limits and limits are good.

But to Obake, limits make you weak. They convince you that you aren't good enough for others’ standards that you need to do things their way.

The left side of Obakeś face began to glow through the dirty white bandages. Only this time it was a much darker purple than before. It was obvious that whatever kindness or sympathy he showed to Baymax at what felt like his final moments were completely gone.

To hell with resting, he’s waited long enough. Obake sat up from the crooked bed while tearing off the rappings. He began to scour for anything useful. He’ll get his student back, no matter what.

Back to our heroes : Big Hero 6 is now faced to face with Noodle Burger Boy. They were both just staring at each other, it was extremely awkward. Though something was off, Noodle Burger Boy was almost glitching. He was weird sure but this was uber weird.

Nonetheless, they charged in and they lost, Hiro wasn’t completely focused and delayed his orders to Baymax, Honey Lemon got worried and missed aimed nearly every one of her shots, Wasabi was Wasabi he did good but he was not in his “fighting mode”, Fred was the only one who did well since he was oblivious at the sight of action, and GoGo just kept getting caught in Noodle Burger Boyś food attacks.

Noodle Burger Boy escaped, having successfully humiliated the team in front of the whole city. While staying so strangely joyfull.

So overall they lost and everyone was not too happy, but they were now really worried since Hiro did not lead the team with a smart plan and a calm mind like usual. This was serious and if something did not change it could put the city and them in danger.

The gang went home to rest but agreed that they would all go to Fredś house the next morning to get their mind off their poor attempt at saving the city. Hoping to also have a serious discussion about Hiro.

Hiro set Baymax in his charging port once more and went to his garage to look at his conspiracy wall and think if there may be a possibility that Obake is alive or if he was just going crazy.

He sat in his chair in frustration while trying to piece together any connection between his dreams, the fact that Noodle Burger Boy was back, and the slight chance that Obake is alive.

He sat back in his chair while thinking and without knowing he must have dozed off since the next thing he knew he was back in that dark void, the void that he came all too familiar with. Only this time he wanted answers and would stop at nothing to get them.

A small part of his mind reminded him that this was bad, and going too far alone was what Obake was trying to teach him. But for now he ignored this warning. He wanted answers and he was going to get them.
