Nightmares or Reality?
“Don’t run from it, Hiro,” Obake gently said as Hiro was trying to escape Baymaxś 'grasp once again. And once again Hiro was in Obakeś underwater lair trapped with no known way out.
“I will never help you!” He claimed as he finally got his arm free. “I will never destroy the city with you! I will never let innocent people die just to make a star!”
At this point, Hiro was just saying what was on his mind to try and distract Obake in order to get his chip out of Baymax.
“Oh my dear boy but you already have.” It was almost creepy how Obake was so calm like he was being nice but in a two-faced way. In a sick sense it reminded him of a two-headed snake, which wasn’t entirely wrong.
At this point, Hiro just wanted to run, run from Obake, run from his guilt, run back to his friends, to Aunt Cass. In his train of thought, Hiro didn’t even notice where he was or where Obake went.
The room he was in was dark and it looked like a void of emptiness. The only light being a small ray illuminating above him. Honestly, he didn't care at first but then he noticed that Baymax was gone as well.
He was getting scared he wanted his marshmallow friend back but then he thought. “Wait.” He said aloud, “Obake is dead.” It was just 3 words but to him, it felt as though he won the lottery.
He then thought, maybe this was a dream! Did he say that aloud? Either that or Obake can read his mind because just then he said from right behind him.
“Oh no my little genius, this is no dream” Hiro turned around in a flash to be met with Obake grabbing him by the shoulders hard and then saying in a calm yet craze voice, “This Is Your Worst Nightmare!” Then Black.
Next thing he knew Hiro was in his room, Mochi sleeping on his bed, Baymax in his charging port, and no Obake.
His face was covered in sweat and he was breathing heavily, he then grunted as he got up from his bed to wake up Baymax.
“Come on buddy, I think Fred mentioned me wanting to stop by his house,” Hiro said while turning on Baymax’s power button.
And just like that, the charge port opened up to reveal a marshmallow figure being filled with air.
“Hello, I am Baymax, your personal healthcare companion.” Said that giant white robot. Hiro smiled at the sight that his friend was ok, even so, he couldn't shake that dream he had. It was the 4th one this week.
He didn't think too much about it on his way to Fred’s house to not worry his friends or Aunt Cass.
Unfortunately, Baymax could see past his acting as he is like a robot doctor. “Hiro, are you feeling okay?” He asked when they got off the trolley, “Your heartbeat seems to be beating 2% faster than normal.”
Hiro tried to not act surprised as he said cooly, “Ya, I just didn't get a good rest last night is all.”
Baymax just looked at him and Hiro knew what he was going to say, so he pretend to be very interested as Baymax said, “Rest is very important for the human body to stay healthy, getting at least 9 hours of sleep is essential t-”
“Alright I get it Baymax I get it no need to explain.” Hiro interrupted him, “Oh look we made it to Fred’s house!”
Hiro sighed as he rang the doorbell to the great mason only to be greeted by a small, almost mini version of Baymax.
It was Minimax, though this was odd given the fact that Heathcliff should be the one to answer all guests at the door, something was either off or bad.
“Minimax? What are you doing here, where is Heathcliff?” Hero said in a semi-worried tone.
“No Need To Fear Tiny Flesh Being! The Person You Are Referring To Is With Fred In His Bedroom!” Though this remark did calm Hiro down a bit he was still wondering what was so important in Fred’s room that the butler had to skip his duties.
Baymax and Hiro were let in and they made their way to Fred’s bedroom, though they weren't the only ones there. All of their friends were GoGo, Wasabi, Fred, and Honey Lemon.
This wouldn't be too confusing if Hiro paid attention to Fred’s call this morning stating that they all are going to have a team meeting at his house, all Hiro heard was Fred’s house, important stuff, this morning.
So you could probably guess that Hiro was a little confused but acted like he was fine since he mostly wanted to focus on his dreams in the past week like why he was having them and what they meant.
Though what they were saying did spark his attention. Although all Fred was saying was about a phase 2 and since they defeated Obake and saved the city their story of superheroes has just begun or something like that.
It was just a little funny seeing Heathcliff dressed as a supervillain and Fred pretending to defeat him. Although, while deep in thought Hiro never noticed the looks of deep worry that his friends were giving him.
He only snapped out of his trance when Wasabi sat on the couch only to accidentally sit on the remote and turn on the TV to the news.
“Breaking News,” Said news reporter Bluff Dunder, “Noodle Burger Boy is destroying the city.”
All 5 of them had a shocked look on their face to find out that Noodle Burger Boy survived the explosion.
“Let’s Suit Up!” Hiro claimed he would have to worry about his dreams later, for now they had a city to save.
