Painful Wishes
Everything has fallen apart. Yang is tired of it. She tried to stay strong but as soon as she went to go visit Blake and only met with an empty bed, Yang gave up.
Blake ran.
She ran.
The promise she held, was broken. Blake was therefore, not there for her. Yang was here for her, why did she run? Yang doesn't understand, but she just comes to a simple conclusion.
Why would she be around? Yeah. No one should be around Yang anyways.
Yang doesn't know who she is anymore. It feels like a fire in her just vanished, and she's not the Yang anyone knows. No. She's is just a person. Not Yang. Just a person who is broken.
Yang can vividly remember the lifeless Blake had in her eyes when she was bleeding on the ground. Like as if she's dead. Yang knew from that point she's just a mistake.
Yang's mother abandoned her.
Then Summer died.
Dad broke.
Yang gave up her childhood for Ruby.
Then she almost got Ruby killed by trying to search for her mother.
Then she lost an arm.
People got hurt.
Killed someone.
Lost Ember.
And Yang wasn't there soon enough to protect the people she loves.
She's a bad luck. A mistake. A nobody.
"Yang...? Please come out. I'm worried about you." Ruby begged from the other side of the door. Yang refused to talk.
Yang wants to be forgotten, left alone to rot in her bedroom. She can hear Ruby sigh and footstep that fades away. Yang curls up on her bed. Thinking about everything that went wrong.
Yang is sure that if she wasn't here, everyone would've been happy. But no.
. . .
It's also Blake's fault. She brought Adam to them. He destroyed her life.
Yang knows that because turns out the truck driver that got Yang's arm cut off was a member of White Fang and was sent out to kill Yang. For just being around Blake.
Adam.
Adam fucked everything.
He ruined everything.
And Blake got involved with him.
...
But Blake didn't have a choice...
Yang tears up, sobbing into her pillow. Just thinking about Blake hurts. Yang felt foolish to think that Blake would've been made her happy.
No. All people do is lie and break promises. Everyone abandons Yang all the time. So Yang is giving them a taste of the pain. Well. That's not the reason why Yang pushed the world out of her life.
Yang hopes maybe one day the not so bad reaper would come and carry her away to a place where she can see Summer.
Yang could just make it happen now but she's a coward and is too scared to do anything to that extreme.
It's going to be a painful year for her. If she even makes it to the next year. Which Yang is sure she won't.
"Ruby... are you being serious?" Weiss questioned.
"It's not like Yang will be leaving her room anytime soon. She won't even talk to anyone! I've tried everything. I can't just, sit here and do nothing. Weiss. Please take me to Atlas." Ruby asked.
Weiss sighed. She nods sadly. "Okay... I'll do that. I'll be out in my car w- well. Actually let me say goodbye to Yang." Weiss said. Ruby nods before going to go pack up. Weiss went to Yang's door. Gently knocking on it.
"Hey. Its me. Weiss."
No response other then a bed creaking. Shes alive thats good.
"I know you can hear me. But you don't have to say anything. I'm going to be heading back to Atlas, and uhm..." Weiss took a deep breath. Sitting down to lean against the door.
"I really don't know what else to say other then... I'm so sorry this happened to you and the others." She pauses.
"At least he's gone. No more danger now."
. . .
Weiss sighed.
"Yang. You can't stay in there forever. It's been a few weeks since you locked yourself in here. I know you're hurting. And I'm scared for you Yang. I've never seen you like this...I'm scared you'll do something stupid. You can be a little dumb sometimes" Weiss chuckles. "But the Yang I know is smart. I hope you are at least a part of my Yang. I hope you won't do anything stupid. So please." Weiss tears up.
"Promise me you won't do it."
No response. Weiss holds back a sob. "Yang I love you, and I'm so sorry I'm not able to take away your pain." Weiss took in a shaky breath. "But I know you'll get back up, and keep going. You always do."
Weiss took in a deep breath. "Yang. Call me when you're ready to come out and start your path to healing. Please. Goodbye Yang."
Weiss stood up to walk outside to her car with Ruby. Soon driving away, Ruby crying as she watches her home get farther and farther.
Yang only cries herself to sleep. She heard everything Weiss said and Yang fell apart when Weiss said I love you. It brought back memories in high-school. Yang hugs her knees sobbing. Wishing things would just stop hurting her.
"Hey. Hey. Slow down.... Blake come on!"
"Sun I'm fine!"
"Dude no you aren't! I'm sorry to remind you, but you are still healing from a near fatal attack! You almost died!" Sun shouted.
Sun was trying to help Blake get to the bus. He knew what Blake's doing is a terrible idea but he wasn't going to stop Blake. Instead he'll support her.
Blake woke up in the hospital and saw Sun. Her immediate reaction was begging Sun to get her out of the hospital.
And after a few arguments, Sun finally agrees, so here he is, supporting Blake to the bus. To which they both get inside and got a seat.
"Blake, do you even know where to go?"
Blake could only tear up. She's still so exhausted, and everything hurts but Blake can't go back.
"I'll take you to my place then. I still have some of your old clothes." Sun chuckles. Not getting any response from Blake. He sighed and let Blake rest her head on Sun's shoulder.
