X-Men: Evolution Revolution Season 02 Episode 02
Mystique had been revealed to have disguised herself as Professor Xavier after all the craziness that they'd been put through that day. "You did this, you destroyed it all! I watched it on the security replay, you locked these kids in and then set it to blow!" Scott had yelled at them angrily.
"How long have you been impersonating the professor, where is he!?" Storm questioned wanting to know what's happening right now.
"If you ever wanna see Xavier again you will back off!" Mystique warned them about backing off and listening to her.
"It's no good, she's blocking me somehow." Jean stated in response still trying to read her mind regardless.
"Well then let's see her block this!" Rogue called out grabbing Mystique with her ungloved hand and beginning to drain her making Mystique drop.
"Did you get it?" Scott questioned Rogue asking if she knew where the professor was being kept at so they could rescue him.
"Ya, I got it." She'd responded saying that she now knows where the professor was while Hunter cuffed Mystique.
"You boys are thugs but mostly harmless to the general populace. Mystique on the other hand just tried to kill the New Mutants, and is going to face the consequences of that." Hunter told the brotherhood guys and they'd backed up as the Plumbers had come over to investigate.
"Nobody move!" One of the Plumbers that looked sorta like an old fishman in Plumber gear spoke coming out of the vehicle.
"Hey there Magister Patelliday." Hunter greeted them showing that he was on friendly terms with this fish guy. "It's me Agent Hunter Long."
"Hunter? Why look at you, definitely grown since the last time I saw you." Patelliday stated being friendly towards them. "Mind explaining what's going on here?"
"Long story short, Mystique here impersonated the team mentor of this facility and then tried to blow it up with our younger recruits inside it. You should take precautions though because she's a shapeshifter and may be able to weasel her way out of custody if you aren't careful." He answered back while gesturing towards her.
Some other plumbers came out of the vehicle as well and picked up the still unconscious Mystique as Patelliday questions "You need any help finding your mentor?"
"We got it, I was able to get the information of where he is." Rogue called out about having known where the Professor was at.
"We got our own ride too. Don't worry, we'll keep these kids in line." Logan called out saying that they also had their own way.
"Alright then, let me know if there's anything else that comes up, anyone else that needs to be in cuffs?" Patelliday then stated before asking about arresting anyone else.
Hunter looked at the Brotherhood guys who'd taken a step back, but then he'd turned towards the X-Men and Kitty in particular before stating "Not unless someone's wanting to get wild in the bedroom." and had gotten smacked in the back of the head for that making him laugh a bit as Kitty was fidgeting awkwardly. "We're good, just take her away." He'd then waved them off.
The other Plumbers took Mystique and placed her in a stasis cell in the ship due to her shapeshifting as a precaution and then left with her leaving the group to decide what to do next. "Alright, let's go get the professor already." Evan spoke saying they should leave already.
"Right, you guys." Hunter then agreed with a nod and looked over at the Brotherhood group. "Go home, stay out of trouble, and I won't have to arrest you."
After he'd told them that they nodded and began to leave while Scott spoke up saying "Rogue, Iceman, Spyke, Shadowcat, Jean, Hunter, and I will go get the professor, the rest of you gather what you can from inside the mansion. Logan, we need you, Storm, and Beast to stick close to home just in case anything else goes wrong."
"Well, you're actually starting to sound like a proper leader kid." Logan spoke back but had given them a nod of approval.
"Let's go." Hunter spoke getting aboard the Velocity and taking spot at the controls waiting for the others.
They'd flown off together into the air and gone off to get the professor and along the way there was a broadcast about someone they really didn't wanna deal with again today. Juggernaut was attacking a dam, though why exactly was unclear. "The professor will have to wait, we gotta stop Juggernaut first." Hunter spoke.
"Actually this works out for us. The Professor was kept in Caine's statis cell." Rogue stated to them about Juggernaut and they'd nodded.
"Hunter take us down." Scott stated to them ready to go and try to stop Juggernaut then go after the professor.
"Can do, hey Jean. I've got an idea, it's a trick my aunt M'gann can do with her powers that are similar to yours. Maybe you can do it too." Hunter stated about having an idea of how to help take down Caine and then activated a communications device in the Velocity. "This is Plumber Agents Hunter Long, All units stand down, your first priority is to clear out the city below the dam and get the citizens safely to higher ground. My team and I will battle Juggernaut, repeat all units stand down and focus on evacuations."
When they'd landed part of the damn was already broken and Iceman blasted it to stop the water flow as everyone got out of the Velocity. "I've been waiting to have another go with you!" Juggernaut yelled out pointing at Hunter.
"You want it, you got it. Dragon up!" Hunter called out changing in a torrent of flames swirling around his body like that of a blazing tornado as he'd returned to his Dragon form ready to fight. The two clasped hands making a shockwave as they'd done so but again Caine was pushing him back as his claws dug grooves into the ground.
Hunter blasted him with fire again but he was a little more prepared for it that time 'Jean, while he's distracted undo the clasps of his helmet.' he'd thought while doing so and Juggernaut had managed to lift Hunter in the air not paying attention has one of the claps came undone.
'Hang on Hunter!' Scott thought out to him and blasted Juggernaut in the back to distract him more while Hunter began to flap his wings lifting both himself and Caine.
'Oh I'm hanging, I'm hanging.' He'd thought back to them while keeping Caine airborne as they'd kicked their legs and struggled trying to be put down and another claps came undone on it's own without them noticing.
Juggernaut managed to break free of Hunter's grasp and landed back on top of the dam questioning "What are you trying to do, embarrass me to death, give me your best shot!"
"Y'know that's just what I had in mind." Scott stated stepping forwards as Hunter flew up higher and moved over towards them landing next to Cyclops with another claps coming undone with Scott blasting him again.
"You think that visor's gonna help you? I'm Raw Power!" Juggernaut called out as the last clasp came undone.
"Ya, you want raw power, then take it raw!" Scott then called taking off his visor and blasting Juggernaut with everything he's got with Hunter letting out a roar and unleashing a powerful wind with his wings at the same time with the two of them blowing Caine back and his helmet goes flying off as he's sent flying backwards.
Caine managed to get up and tried to move himself towards them but it was slow going as for every step he took he'd be inched back at the same time 'Guy's be careful.' Kitty thought watching the two of them worried about if this was gonna work or not.
Hunter started adding his own flames to the onslaught as well with them pinning him back against a wall and leaving an imbedded mark of their attacks and the body shape of Caine deeper in the indent. 'Iceman, once we stop freeze him solid and Jena give him a few psychic blasts so he'll stay down until we can return him to the cell.'
The two of them had done so and they'd gone to the stasis cell with one of the guards stating "We had no idea about this."
"Just, get him out of his cell and hook Juggernaut back up inside of it." Cyclops told the guard who'd began the draining procedure of the stasis cell.
We then see that Wolverine was in a new costume after the old one was destroyed in the mansion's explosion and the professor was looking around the place seeing how bad it was as the others had piled up what they could find that wasn't completely trashed. "We'll need to rebuild, but thankfully through everyone's quick actions no one was seriously hurt."
"You guys did good work out there." Logan told them about being able to take charge in saving everyone from the explosion and defeating Juggernaut.
"Thanks, but it was Jean and Bobby who finished off Caine this time, the rest of us gave them the chance to be able to do so." Scott then stated passing credits for defeating Juggernaut.
"Uh, you and Hunter like, totally kicked Juggernaut's butt back there." Kitty then stated about how they'd overpowered him together.
"So anyway professor, I've got a few ideas for upgrading the place as we rebuild." Hunter then stated about some upgrades that could work out for their benefit.
