Chapter 4
X-Men: Evolution Revolution Season 01 Episode 04
It's actually been a few weeks since everything started and they've added another member since the Rogue incident, that being Storms Nephew Evan Codename Spyke. Of course Tolansky A.K.A. Toad also got some new housemates as well. Guy named Fred Codenamed Blob, Pietro from Evan's old school codenamed Quicksilver, and the guy from Kitty's old school named Lance codenamed Avalanche as well. We then see that all of them were at some sort of camp where the guy in charge was yelling things at them already and had put Scott and Hunter in charge as the group leaders before dismissing them.
"Oh, I'm gonna be dead in like two days." Kitty sighed sitting down on her luggage bag after hearing what the man in charge said.
"You, what about me? I'm a city kid I can't handle this." Evan then questioned about having to deal with all this too.
"I'm going AWOL, anyone know how to hotwire a bus?" Rogue questioned picking up her bag and trying to leave.
"Whoa whoa, we're not washing out in front of the whole school. Beside Professor X endorses this place." Scott spoke in response stopping them from doing anything stupid.
"I know how to hotwire a bus." Hunter stated to them with everyone just turning to look at him funny, but he just shrugged in response. "Plumber remember?"
"Well, at least The Professor gave us a choice. Survival training here, or with Wolverine." Jean then stated to their group.
"Honestly I think it would have been more fun with Wolverine." Hunter answered back and they'd given him a funny look again. "What, more dangerous something is the more fun it is."
We then cut to them doing part of the training climbing ropes with Hunter, Scott, and Lance in the lead reaching the top and ziplining across to the next part of the course. Though it may be a bit of an unfair advantage for Hunter given he's already been through similar training he still was doing the course regardless. Lance used his powers to knock down Scott into the water but Hunter was able to withstand it and got into one of the boats paddling across the lake same as Lance was doing now.
The two had been close but Hunter managed to get to the finish line first and ran thorough the finish line part of the race. "Not bad Lance, most people at school back home couldn't keep up with me. Pitty about you avalanching Scott out of the race too. Next time how about we actually have a fair go at it without powers."
The Coach had heard the others arguing about who should or shouldn't have won and blew the whistle now making both Lance and Scott's groups do pushups and once they were done he'd said "On your feet." with everyone getting up. "Here at Ironback we got ways to weed the loud-mouths from the tough guys. We fight it out in the wilderness against the wilderness, you wanna fight it out fine. First ones to reach a flag I planted up there on mount humiliation and brings it back to me wins."
"Cakewalk, our team can take a sauna, I'll get it myself." Pietro stated about handling getting the flag no problem.
"The whole team or no one, as Proof I want a snapshot of every member right there at the top, are we clear?" The camp leader then stated to them about all of them having to go. "You leave in five from opposite trails.
We cut back to the Mansion where Logan was walking up to the professor who was using Cerebro asking "Is Cerebro locating new mutant sigs?"
"No, just our students up at Ironback." Professor Xavier answered back about what he was doing with the device at that moment.
"I still say you should have let me handle their survival training." He'd stated about the teens at the training camp.
"I did give them that choice, they voted five to one to attend the camp instead." The Professor stated to him as an alarm began to go off.
We then cut to where the teens had nearly gotten to the top of the mountain and Hunter had already started climbing the stone. "Just follow my lead on this one, the stones that I'm using will be the most stable."
They'd began to follow after him getting closer to the top and managed to get up there and there was a tremor that happened with causing Evan to lose his grip falling with Jean using her powers to float him back to the top. "Jean, can you get us the rest of the way up there?" Scott questioned about getting the rest of the way to the top.
"Scott, saving Evan was a situation where someone's life could have been in danger. Getting that flag isn't, now start climbing. That had to be Lance just now." Hunter stated to him gesturing towards the top of the mountain.
"Uh, guys?" Rogue called out to them as she'd been looking down an old mine shaft just below them.
"We're caved in down here, c'mon you can't just leave us down here right?" Toad called out to the group above them.
"Don't worry we won't." Scott called out and they set up a rope and began to go to help them out.
Once they were all out Pietro tried to use his powers to get to the top and snatch the flag but Hunter teleported up there with the two grabbing it at the same time with the Blackbird appearing in front of them. "X-Men, Professor Xavier is in trouble, and so is Mystique." The voice of Storm called out to them about what's happening right now.
We then cut back to what was going on at the X Mansion with the man ripping things apart and the teens finally showing up. "Take a break Wolverine!" Scott called as all of them had already been in their gear.
"We'll take it from here." Avalanche called out saying that they were going to take over handling the large man in front of them.
"Well now, this is a surprise." Mystique spoke seeing all of them standing together in order to protect both the Professor and herself.
Jean used her powers to pull them away but he was a little too heavy for her which caused her to struggle and put him down though she managed to get him to the other side of the room.
"Caine's helmet, remove it!" Wolverine called out to them all about how to actually be able to beat this guy. "It's the only way to stop him!"
"No one can stop me I'm the Unstoppable Juggernaut!" The Caine guy stated to them when Fred slammed into him knocking him over.
"Unstoppable Juggernaut, meet the Immovable Blob!" Fred stated to them as Hunter ported in and undid one of the latches on his helmet.
Juggernaut grabbed Hunter and thrown him at a wall with Kitty jumping to grab him phasing both of them through to the other side before returning back into the room as he was now going after Blob for getting in his way.
"We're gonna have to take this one more seriously." Hunter then spoke about handling this guy and looking at Shadowcat stating "Kitty, give me a little room."
She'd been slightly confused by what he was going to do, but moved back regardless stating "Okay, but be careful." slightly worried.
"Y'know Caine, you're not the only one with Magic on your side!" He'd then called out getting Juggernaut's attention after he'd thrown Fred into a wall.
"No one can stop me, I'm the Juggernaut!" Caine yelled out at him stating that he couldn't be stopped regardless.
"You wanna bet?" Hunter then questioned "Time I revealed my little secret. Dragon UP!" He then called out with his body bursting into a swirling tornado of flames that wrapped around his body and he'd changed now gaining a scaley form that had sharp claws, a tail, and even wings while his face had changed into that of a snout. His form was red mostly with a green patterned underbelly with everyone just staring having been completely caught off guard by that little trick.
"Time for round two, let's take this outside!" He'd then called out and flown over at Juggernaut grabbing one of his legs and flying through the holes he'd put into the mansion dragging him outside back into the yard with both the X-Men and Lance's group called the Brotherhood all racing out to join them as well.
He'd thrown Juggernaut onto the ground and they'd charged at him with the two locking hands creating a shockwave that had knocked over the others but Juggernaut was clearly stronger pushing him back as they were digging grooves into the ground. Cyclops blasted Caine in the back distracting them with Hunter flying upwards slightly, and Avalanche had caused a quake that knocked the Juggernaut over. The Dragon blasted fire into his face and helmet at point blank causing him to let go of them as the fire had burned their face thorough the holes in the helmet.
Quicksilver had ran over undoing another latch and running off before Caine could actually hit them and then Kitty phased through with Rogue as they'd undid the last two latches. Spyke had launched out spikey projectiles at the back of their head knocking off their helmet as Toad used his tongue to grab it playing keep away.
Once they'd gotten it off the professor had bombarded them with psychic blasts and caused them to drop and everyone had started cheering before then remembering that Hunter had literally turned into a dragon and stared at him as he'd just rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. "Uh.. surprise?"
"Have you been able to do that this whole time?" Cyclops questioned about him being able to turn into a dragon.
"Uh, ya, my dad is the American Dragon." He explained awkwardly about that little trick of his and reverted to his human looks again. "It's a very long and very complicated story."
