The Night Of Wonders
It's been days since that day and Haley kept on seeing Chai running around the town doing odd jobs that normal farmers wouldn't do, she doesn't know why but she finds it pretty cute and I don't know why.
The days continue and the Flower Dance that she's been waiting for will start tomorrow, she lay down on the bed and stared at the ceiling contemplating.
"I wonder if she'll attend, if she does, I wonder who she'll ask for a dance..." The thought of her dancing with another made my blood boil and she couldn't help but wonder why? "Well, even she do ask me for a dance... Wait, am I seriously thinking of dancing with her?! She-she's filthy she smells like dirt though!" She covered her face with a pillow as she try to hide her blush.
"...."
'I wonder what she's doing right now...-' she opens her eyes and sits back on the bed. 'I must be going crazy! I better sleep or else I might think about her again– oh god I just did! WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH' she sat right back on top of her bed as she tries to calm her heart that was racing so fast.
Meanwhile, Chai was on top of her bed wondering the same thing.
"I should sleep..." she mumbles as she positions herself sideways on the bed.
'But I can't help but wonder how good she'll look like on a dress– Oh dear god, she's so beautiful, majestic, and godly!' Her cheeks turn red as she smiles like a high schooler who fell in love for the first time.
"Maybe, just maybe, I should ask her for a dance..." She imagines her dancing with Haley as she grins like a fool. "But- she hates me..." Her hopes and dreams for a dance vanished as she curl in bed while hugging her pillow.
'But I hope that'll change!' A thought passes that boggles her mind. 'Wait- Why do I want her to l-l-like me, not in a romantic way of course, well... Maybe! But that's not the point! W-why am I like this? Ugh, I don't know anymore!'
"I better sleep today.." she mumbles yet again as she put her hand on top of her face that's as red as a tomato, she tried her best to calm herself but alas it was all in vain as she fell asleep confused and weirdly happy.
As she opens her mind she was in for a shock, she was sitting on top of a rocking chair, old and frigid with a woman standing by her side. Despite being old and wrinkly she knows full well who's this beauty that's holding her.
"What's wrong my dear?" Haley asks in a rough yet angelic voice of her that made Chai's heart melt. "Oh no, you're all red! Are you alright?" She asks.
"I- uhmm- uhh–" Before she could even say anything her alarm woke her up from her deep sleep and as she opens her eyes she sat down in shock as she breathes in and out.
"What does that mean...?"
