Summary
Three years after their run in with apocalypse, the X-Men, the Brotherhood, and the rest of the mutant population seemed to no longer have to deal with world ending events and instead are confronted with bigotry, fear, and hate from the human population. Many of the mutants opted to hide in plain sight by moving to more densely populated areas where they could live in relative anonymity. Some became simi nomadic, and many others stayed sequestered away at the X-Mansion, safe from most of the population and continued their work as an outreach program as well as an advocate for mutants fighting anti mutant legislation.Rogue wants a break from her life at the mansion and to see what it's like to be her idea of normal. But peace is never permanent and she finds herself caught up in the middle of an plot to create the ultimate mutant.

I'm still figuring this out as I go. I know the fandom is likely long dead but I've been really getting back into things in anticipation for the new X-Men 97 series set to come out early 2024. I few things to note:-This is a slow burn. I like my stuff to feel real and heavy-I will be recycling things I liked from other X-Men IPs (movie, comics, orig. series).-I forget what I was going to type here but I feel like if I put at least three bullet points people are more likely to read it.I dunno, I guess I welcome feedback? I'm just killing time at work while I write these.
